August Springs is a quiet place, probably due to the age restriction of 62+ years old. The place is more like an apartment complex since it is non-assisted living but a great place for those that don't need medical assistance. There is however an off on site and two maintenance employees that live on site for emergencies concerning the apartments. All units are ground level and handicap accessible. My sister is living there and she seems happy. She has made a few friends and I take her where she needs to go, doctors, grocery stores etc.

Lobby area clean but halls in living areas need cleaning. Staff very friendly. We have a fellowship Hall every week activities. A library, Game room, Laundry room on each floor. Outside Venders come once a month to check our health Concerns. Excellent activities. Cost income based. Excellent for the services and activities.

This is a wonderful place to live. The appearance of the apartments and how the grounds are kept stand out to me. They have good size apartments available for your loved ones. The residents are very friendly.

The community is beautiful. Everyone is really friendly and it a nice quiet community. I would recommend this community to others.. The community it very clean and neat and the staff is very nice and friendly

My dad and I agreed he would move here four years ago when he turned 70. He wasn't happy with his old neighborhood and I found him isolating. He is more social than when he was younger. They are a community and residents all seem happy and supportive of one another. When we discussed him moving here he and also I were concerned he would be in a sea of sedentary seniors. Not at all. Overall as a family we are happy with this choice.

Great location, but would have liked to see more Details, Photos and possible Floor Plan of Rooms !! Will discuss with Family, as to scheduling a Tour !! Enjoyed my Tour with [name removed] as I went to the wrong Appointment!! [name removed] gave me all the information and showed me a Model Apartment and was surprised at the actual size of the One Bedroom! I liked that the Facility was a bit of a more secluded area with a Country atmosphere, quiet and more private. Could see that it was well managed !!

So far everything is working out pretty well for my friend. I know he is in a good community. We are pleased with all they have done for us. This is a nice, safe community.

This is a revitalized neighborhood from the past decade, close to a supermarket, Walgreens, cinema and shopping.

I like the location, it's clean, and has many activities for seniors. I really like the "I'm OK" signs that have to be displayed everyday. Even though they don't provisions to serve meals everyday, the days they do serve do help.

I wish I had chosen better. Except for the maintenance, the management is a farce. The property manager is leaving in a couple of days. The maintenance guy, [name removed], is very helpful and patient. The residents here are very disgruntled. They present a friendly but unhealthy environment; drug activity runs rampant in the building, yes even amongst the elderly, and there is an ongoing roach problem. The dumpster situation behind in the building is horrendous. Overflowing with week's worth of garbage. I am going to seek to move elsewhere next year.

The trash situation is terrible. There are no activities whatsoever. However, maintenance is very efficient and friendly.

Keep in mind there's a lack of 24-hour security. Also, they can't keep management on staff. But the maintenance crew are pretty nice, pretty cordial, just overworked. The apartment that we have is fairly nice. It's spacious enough, but there are some that I know of that are quite small and cramped, especially the studios. It's a little dated and could use some upgrades, especially the appliances. The grounds are kept nicely for the most part.

This was the best that I have seen so far.

This building is infested with bed bugs and cockroaches. It lacks dependable maintenance. My air conditioner leaks water so bad and I could not get it repaired so I purchased a dishpan and bucket to collect the water and pour it out. I am shopping for another place to live.
