My mother was living at an independent living facility in La Crosse, WI when she started to have medical issues. After she recovered, we decided it was time to move her closer to me and my children so we could be more responsive to her future needs. My mother was very concerned about moving to a new place and losing all her friends that she had made, but her desire to be closer to family outweighed those fears. Mom moved to Claddagh in [date removed]. On her first day there she greeted by fellow residents at lunch and asked to sit with them and has since made many new friendships with other residents. The facility administrator has been wonderful to work with and she always has a smile on her face. The staff has been awesome with mother who unfortunately has struggled with more medical issues. They are so caring and attentive, and the head RN calls me to discuss any issues that arise. The facility is warm and inviting and just walking around you can tell everyone is like family there!

My mother has been a resident at Claddagh for the past 3.5 months. Transitioning a parent from their lifelong home is an extremely difficult life event. It was hard for my mother to give up her independence and rely on others for her care. My mother's path consisted of an injury, hospital stay, nursing home and then to Claddagh. The injury caused my mother to lose most of her mobility and required the assistance of staff for her care. Her greatest fear was hitting the help button and having nobody come. We are extremely happy with her care at Claddagh. The staff are very vigilant with their response time. Mom is treated with respect, compassion, dignity and empathy. The staff take an interest not only in her care but her as a person. The nursing staff is also exceptional and have assisted us greatly in coordinating and carrying out her medical issues. Our family is extremely grateful to the care being provided.

Staff, owners have created an atmosphere of home. I have no complaints. There are many activities available. If needed, the location of this facility is convenient for outside medical care. I do not use email, prefer any response to be by phone. I was fortunate to be able to borrow an iPad for this review, thank you.

My 97 yr old Mother has been at Claddagh Senior Living for a year and a half. From the first day of move in she has never looked back. She is so happy. The Director is constantly coming up with new ideas, things and events for her FAMILY of Seniors. Games, crafts, exercise, fish tanks to observe, parakeets to enjoy. They have gone to a farm to see farm animals. The staff is so caring, they treat everyone like they would like to be treated. Her medical staff is on top of all needs of the Seniors. Claddagh always has a full staff of employees. The staff really seems to enjoy working there. I would want my mother to be no where else but here. Mom is competitive and really loves to win at Bingo. Mom has made so many friends there. The atmosphere always seems to have everyone in high spirits. I am always greeted with a smile by the staff and the Seniors living there. I have enjoyed having a meal there on occasion. They celebrate all Holidays. Making they very special.

From my personal living experience at Claddagh, I am most satisfied with the sincere caring and thoughtful interaction the entire staff has with each resident. If there are any questions or needs they are addressed promptly and efficiently. The facility is clean, well maintained, offers many activities, has services on premise, families and friends are welcome. It is a genuinely upbeat, positive fun place to live. Your loved would be well cared for, a great choice.

Claddagh Senior Living is very nice. The staff are caring, the meals are good and the Director is very well liked by the Residents. The activities program is very good, always something going on. The Director has integrated the facility into the community which is very important. There is much community involvement. The Director knows how to take care of our elderly population. She has a really good sense of humor, does special things for the Residents like holiday parties where families are invited, she makes sure everyone is remembered at Christmas, has started a Resident Council, and listens to the Residents when they have a concern. She also listens to family concerns. Claddagh Senior Living is a positive, loving place where our elderly can get the care they need and are encouraged to live their lives as independently as possible.
