What our family likes the most about the Oaks at Suwanee Creek is the staff and caregivers. We appreciate their attentiveness and being able to contact management directly if there is every a problem. It is a smaller community which is easier for our loved one to make friends.

My mother was a resident at Prema at Ashton Hills (previously The Oaks at Ashton Hills) for a year and a half. She passed away last month and upon reflection of our time there, I have to say this community is wonderful and I love and respect the people who run this facility. Lindsey (activities director) is phenomenal! She plans interesting activities inside the complex as well as taking residents out into the community as well. My mom has gone to nail place, lunches, plays, local stores, and just going on "joy rides" to see Christmas lights. As time went on and my mom didn't want to take her medicine, Lindsey always got my mom to take it if I wasn't around. Heather, the nurse has been great as well. Heather was alwaysthere to help me with any questions and to give me the mental support that I needed. She guided me and help me to make all the arrangements for mom to come home to Prema from the hospital at the end. Great Place!

I really liked Oaks at Suwanee and went back and forth between them and another community when making our final decision. Oaks at Suwanee felt homier. And their Activities Director was very vibrant. But the other place’s follow-up and attention to detail won us over.

Beautiful place. [Name removed] did a great job showing us around. This will be the place that we move my mom when her home sells in Minnesota. We tried lunch and it was very tasty. Great staff, food, and beautiful setting.

I live at Oaks at Suwanee Creek and have since the day they opened the doors. I have been very happy here and feel very blessed to be a part of the Oaks family. It is a very beautiful place to call home. The staff is very loving and I feel as if I am a grandfather of them all. I can say I am very happy to call this facility home.

All I can say is wow! Absolutely beautiful facility. My wife and I visited while searching for a new place for my father, and it was the best place we looked at. The staff was friendly, food smelled great, activities were booming, and the rooms were a great size. No need to look any further than Oaks Suwanee Creek!

Oaks at Ashton Hills has a very friendly staff, everyone is wonderful there. they are having staffing issues, so there may be a time or two when an extra hand is needed - but the ones who work with my mom are wonderful. I believe they're struggling the most with their meals and dining, that's where a lot of extra staff is needed. my loved one has complained that her food is cold when it gets to her, but she also understands that they have two people trying to serve sixty. the afternoon meals are better than the evening meals. the evening meal usually consists of things like sandwiches and hotdogs. I would like to see that reversed, but I also see why they're doing it that way. the good thing is, my loved one is not missing out on any meals. they also offer in house physical therapy. between the in house physical therapy and the staff - I can't praise the staff enough. I'm very pleased with the care my mom is receiving. they go out of the way to call her grandma and tell her how much they love her; they're very caring and loving. we're much happier with this decision out of the other communities we toured.

My parents were living in memory care at another facility last summer and needed to move. When we found the oaks, it was a breath of fresh air… The facility is amazing, but the staff is what really sold us. They truly care for residents. We found most facilities leave people in their rooms all day. The Oaks gets residents up and at breakfast every morning. They have a huge cozy common area with access to a covered patio/fountain. The residents have activities all day like games, puzzles, bingo, movies playing Wii, and field trips. Since moving there, my parents are very happy and always have smiles on their faces. Many times I go to visit and staff members are engaging with them. They’ve made friends here. This is a community environment. It’s a very different structure and concept than other memory care facilities we’ve toured. Just can’t say enough good things about it!

My husband and I visited as we are looking for a loved one. It was a gorgeous facility and had beautiful rooms! The size of them was much larger than we anticipated and seemed like it would be a great fit for our family... This has been a lengthy process for us, but I believe that this is the community that we will choose! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the food looked great, the activities looked fun, and the list goes on! What is not to love? Thank you for providing us with a wonderful experience during our visit.

This community is such a warm, welcoming, family oriented place to work and live. I walked in for an interview here as nervous as one could be and the second I walked in the door I knew I was home. You get a very warm welcoming feeling when walking into The Oaks at Suwanee Creek. The staff is all happy to be here and caring for such wonderful residents. The residents all enjoy themselves and are genuinely happy to be living here. Hands down this is a great community to spend my days in. Its a very warm and rewarding feeling to love going to work in such a great community and for such a great company overall.

This is a stunning community with a wonderful culture. The team is dedicated to providing the highest caliber of care to their residents and families! [name removed] (Executive Director), and her team make incredible efforts to ensure that this community is truly the best option for seniors in the area! Top notch and feels like HOME when you walk in.

We moved my father-in-law from home care in Savannah to Oaks Suwanee Creek Memory Care about 2 months ago. I think as a family we did just about everything wrong:) BUT picking Oaks is what we did right! We couldn’t be happier with our decision. It’s a really well run home. It was a tough adjustment at first but my father in law is settling in and doing well. The staff is amazing! It feels like a big family and we rest easy knowing he’s being well cared for. They also have taught me so much about caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. I love visiting!

I would give Oaks at Ashton Hills more than a 5 if I could. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the facility itself, and the size of her room. The facility is very clean and her area that she has is large. The quality of care is great and especially the activity level, it is amazing. The staff members are doing something everyday with the residents and keeping them very busy. I would highly recommend them to other families who are looking.

I have really appreciated the loving care they have for my mother. She feels right at home. The facility has lots for her to do. The staff especially takes great care of her. Even in the middle of the night.

Oaks at Suwanee was a brand new facility so it was very clean and beautiful. Most of the people were very friendly - I only had an issue with one of the caregivers -but overall they were very accommodating and helpful in our situation. I would recommend them to others.

This is a good place to have a loved one. There are times that the staff can be slow on follow up of tasks that should be taken care; however, most of the time this is happening in a timely manner. The staff communication is good with the family about upcoming activities. It would be nice to have more of my questions in a timely manner. There are three meals a day served to the residents. It would be nice to see choices made available to the residents. There has been staff turnover, and there has a recently change in administration and I feel this will make it better for the residents and families.

Based on the experience so far, we do like some of the staff and my mom enjoys them and some of the other residents there. However we do believe that some of the staff turnover is causing some issues. communication regarding health status of mom was lacking.

I'd say it requires vigilance on the part of the family to get adequate care. There has been a fair amount of turnover at leadership and staff levels. Experienced delayed notification of a fall that required hospitalization. Some staff are very friendly and attentive, others seem to do the bare minimum. I'm beginning to believe this is an industry-wide issue (this is our third location and had similar concerns at the others).

I had my Godfather at Prema at Ashton Hills for a month and a half in Memory care. He was not easy to deal with at all. But I was contacted by the nurse and told we needed a meeting. When we arrived, we were told by that nurse that we would have to take him with us that night imperative after the so-called meeting. We were not prepared at all and were blindsided. How do you get kicked out of memory care? That is what it is for along with the extra cost. We were screwed and had a heck of a time. While we were happy with the Head person in memory care and the person who placed us. We were very unhappy with the nurse. She was unprofessional to say the least. I would never do business with them again. They were concerned about another patient with a possible lawsuit and didn’t want us to talk to them or have them overhear anything. Instead of fixing the problem as you would think memory is for, they kicked my godfather out without prior notice. Not happy with the upkeep of his room.
