Cleanliness I rated a four because sometimes I have to go find a cleaning person if my dad has had an accident. Quality of care I rated a four because when my father first moved in, there were some aides who didn't appear to be very caring or dedicated to their job on a consistent basis, but the two I was concerned about have quit and their replacements are doing very well. Food I rated a four because often the food is difficult to chew for those who have few or no teeth left. However, the dining room staff is very accommodating and will make something softer if a resident asks for it. Overall, this is a very nice and clean establishment with exceptional front office staff and receptionists, lots of activities, a nice gym and an excellent Director of Nursing who is always willing to work with family members. The marketing Director, who worked with me to get my father moved in to Forest Hills Commons has retired and I do not know the new marketing Director so I cannot make a comment about her. I have met all of the other staff, and they are very kind and caring. The Director of Nursing and the accounting lady are extremely professional and very welcoming and accommodating. I can't recommend them enough.

The staff at Avalon have all been very approachable and inviting. The facility is by far the nicest of the numerous communities that we visited. There seem to be a wide variety of activities. On site access to PT, skilled nursing, and other services was also a key deciding factor.

They would all be 5 except the administrative responsiveness has been lacking. I'd rate it as a 3. It may be because the director is out on sick leave at the moment. Hopefully, it will improve.

We are so pleased with mother's transition and the entire staff's attention to her more than we could've hoped for. She is thriving and doing well. We would recommend others tour, visit, and spend time at Avalon. We found the program manager and nursing manager to be focused on mother's physical and medication management needs addressed directly from the start. That was most important to us. The nursing staff doesn't miss a beat. And the residential staff is always attentive. They have taken the time to meet her likes.

[Name Removed] was definitely a 5. The head dietician went far beyond to provide delicious meals with my hubby's food restrictions. I found the staff to be very supportive and caring. Many have become like family.

I give them 5 stars. The place is always clean. Good variety of activities. Staff has been fantastic as my mother's care needs have increased. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The management has always responded quickly to my inquiries.

The tour [name removed] provided showcased the daily very well. She introduced me to the nurses on site as well as other staff members who would help make my moms transition easier. [name removed] was also extremely helpful navigating through the paperwork. I look forward to seeing my mom thrive at The Summit of Edgewood.

[Name Removed] provided a wonderful tour and followed up with us on a regular basis! She was a great resource in highlighting all of the services and amenities they could provide for my 82 YO mother. And Chandler Park is such a great facility! It’s now on our list of potentials for me and my husband!

It is a very nice facility with attentive staff. Everyone was professional and courteous. Our marketing representative was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all out questions.

The facility is nice. I chose it because of the price and location.

We toured the Summit of Edgewood for my cousin, we were impressed with the facility and she did move in shortly after. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They take very good care of my cousin, [name removed]. She enjoys the food and has made friends pretty quickly. She tells us she is very happy and is thankful that we chose the Summit for her. She has pt and op 5 days a week and has never missed her appointments. They give her hope that she will walk again. She has top tier medical assistant care and I'd say for all that they so, it's well worth the price. As she improves, the price will decrease. The facility itself is very clean, they clean her room and do her laundry twice a week. My husband visits her twice a week and they are always there to answer any questions or concerns. It's truly a blessing knowing that she is in such good hands.

I think Maristone is an incredible facility. If my mother will agree to go to assisted living, this will be my choice. Claudia was an amazing help to me. I hope we can end up here.

Absolutely love this facility. I’m looking for my 90 year old aunt. The facility offers everything we need and want. She’s not able to walk, so she utilizes the wheelchair for moving around. [name removed] with Edgewood was beyond wonderful if that can happen. I am very happy that I have been able to find someone who has a very good rating. I look forward to getting my aunt a secure safe place and Legends has it all.

I always get a response. I always get a call on non-emergency things. I would definitely recommend to others

It was ok but at this time iam just not ready to commit going to try to stay at home as long as we can , thanks for the tour the place was amazing, the people were great

Everyone was very nice, patient, and helpful. The facility was very clean, all the residents that we saw seemed very happy. The studio apartment was a perfect size for my cousins needs. Everything went very smoothly even with the limited time we had to work with. They have been very good about answering any questions we've had. The staff seems to work perfectly together. My cousin also said the food is very good.

We chose this facility because the residents here genuinely seem very happy and the staff all appear to be very caring. Services offered meet our mom's needs. Ample activities will give mom a lot to do and a chance to make some new friends her age. Having both assisted living and memory care will give us an opportunity to keep her in the best level that she needs to be in.

I am so happy with this facility that I just renewed my parents' lease for another year. They have activities to keep them busy, they know all the other residents, and someone on staff is always walking around socializing and checking in to make sure everyone is okay. Knowing they are happy, safe, and taken care of is reassuring when we can't be available.

The staff has been great. [name removed] likes them very much and they seem to genuinely care about the residents. I would recommend the facility to others.

I would definitely recommend Maristone. Primarily the caring and friendly attitude of all the staff. The meals are very good and always on time. The coffee pot is always on. They also provide homemade muffins and other items in an area just outside of the dining area which is always available if any of the residents feel like snacking at any time, day or night.
