Merrill Gardens

Truewood was very nice everything was great .The rooms were the best I have seen since I have been looking for a new place.The the residence seem to be very happy.

The staff and residents are extremely helpful, kind and friendly. It is a welcoming, inviting community. The activities vary in an effort to reach everyone, but no one is pushy. Your privacy is respected. The facility is clean. We have only been here 2 months but this community feels like home.

I lived here more then 5 years , and the team we have here is so great the work together to keep the facility a great place to live , i love the morning exercise and happy hours and our events here at merrill gardens are always the best i want to thank the marketing team and activities on how well they work together . The activities team does a great job at making sure all of us residents are happy and each have a activity we enjoy.

The staff has been very helpful and respectful. The apartment size is good, just right for mom's needs. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

Merrill gardens was reassuring, not pushy, and very professional while my Dad was determining if this would be the right place for him. There is a real sense of community that you see right away. Residents are not tucked away in their rooms, they eat together, visit, and enjoy activities together. The rooms are bright and smartly designed. It's everything a person could need. The facility is neat as a pin, just smells clean. My Dad's housekeeper is wonderful. They come once a week and clean for him, and the best part, put new sheets on his bed if he leaves them out. The flexibility of food is wonderful-no set meals times, residents can eat whenever they want between 7 to 7. After my Mom died my Dad's diet really suffered. Meals were lot enjoyable alone and since he has moved to Merrill Gardens it seems like one of the highlights of his day

I have a nice, big 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms and lots of windows. It was repainted, got new flooring and new kitchen cabinets before I moved in. The bathroom fixtures are a bit dated, but clean and usable. Food is excellent, staff are kind and pleasant.

Room size was good. We had a 1 bedroom with balcony, large living space, kitchen, large bathroom and closet. They had a variety of planned a activities and many residents got together for games. Food was good but very repetitive. Staff was great and formed a good relationship with my mom. Administrators were sometimes hard to reach but were good to work with. Staff that cleaned the apartments were not great and only did surface clean. Overall, we felt very good about the facility and the care. We would go there again if needed.

The facilities are beautiful. I was introduced to employees as they passed by during the tour. Even spoke to the chef. It was very clean and quiet. Residents all had smiles on their faces and were addressed by name. Each of the rooms I was shown were spacious for the type of room. I was given a list of how the monthly rent is calculated which is appreciated. It was explained about the yearly increase and that you can have overnight guest for up to 5 days which is really nice to know.

The staff is well trained and friendly. Activities are appropriate and scheduled for multiple times every day. The rooms are a nice size and the facilities are very well maintained.

My dad’s time at the assisted living community was difficult because of his health condition. The staff were generally kind, open, and caring, and they made efforts to support him and keep him comfortable during a challenging period. I appreciate the compassion shown to him and our family in his final days.

People were very welcoming and nice there. We had a great talk and they had some good other options for me to consider. A lot of good insite and I so appreciated it.

My sister and I visited on several occasions. Each time, [name removed] greeted us with a smile and was always willing to sit down and answer our questions. Also, each time we visited, the residents also stopped us to chat. The facility is like walking into a nice hotel. After touring several other facilities, I always came back to Merrill Gardens for their nice and welcoming common areas, staff, and residents. Also, Merrill Gardens pricing was always little lower than other facilities which was great too!

My mom and dad moved into Truewood and the staff has been amazing. They are so helpful and caring, from the maintenance to the caregivers and the security that makes everyone is safe. Every time my mom needs something they are there to help. [name removed] was the person that contacted us and helped us so much. He has gone above and beyond to help me and my parents. I would recommend this place to anyone and ever to everyone.

The Truewood team has been wonderful - friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful from the start. We were truly impressed with how well kept and inviting the community is. The pricing was affordable and includes 3 meals a day, cable, some transportation and a wide variety of activities, which really adds to the value. So far, my sister absolutely loves living here. It's comforting to know she's happy, engaged and well cared for. Highly recommend!!! My sister is still very very happy here.

I have been coming to Turners Rock for over 4 years now and I come to visit friends and dine with friends. I also now really enjoy volunteering with the activities department and love working with the people that I volunteer with at Turners Rock. The residents here have so many opportunities to get great care, great food and meet new friends.

Our knitting group has had the fabulous opportunity to meet in the Sky Lounge at Merrill Gardens at Wright Park. The facility is beautiful. The staff are warm and friendly. The Sky Lounge has a stunning view of Commencement Bay! Located in the heart of Stadium District the location is outstanding. If you are looking for yourself or a loved one you need to check this place out.

My sister was in Assisted Living and is currently in the Memory Care Unit at Mission Ridge. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. The staff are great. My sister has been through a journey and everyone has been so kind to her through her latest transition to Memory Care. I would highly recommend Mission Ridge.

Turners Rock is an amazing place!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It truly feels like coming home. The atmosphere and activities can not be beat!! I love volunteering at the Happy Hour. We have a great crew. The residents tell us living here is like living on a cruise ship. I could not agree more and I highly recommend.

The staff and the care given here at Turners Rock is top notch. It feels like home for most of them. The food and activities keep all of the residents engaged. Its the place to be. I volunteer weekly here because my mom used to live here and I really enjoy coming back into the community to see all these friendly faces.
