Belmont Village

Lovely facility, inside and out. Very clean, well maintained. Lots and lots of activities and opportunities to socialize, learn, and stay healthy. It's expensive, and they have a yearly increase of 6-7%. They offer 3 meals a day and limitless snacks. The menus look amazing. Not for me, first because of the high price. Second, I don't eat 3 full meals a day, but it's included anyway. Another reason is that the 1-bedroom unit is small; the bedroom only fits a double bed. There's lots of closet space. The kitchenette has the bare basics.

Living area and dining areas were neat, clean, and very attractive, with activities going on. The staff was very friendly, informative, very open and willing to answer all questions. I'd feel very comfortable having my mom stay here.

Rating of "5" on each criteria. They "solve" things quickly. My husband is a new resident. The management ([names removed]) is very responsive. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families! The management team that I mentioned makes all the difference. They listen and solve whatever the questions/issues are.

What we like the most about the community is that everyone was very friendly and helpful. Yes, I would recommend Belmont Village to other families based on the experience so far.

We were impressed by how quick the staff got to know my dad and how responsive they were to our questions and concerns. We liked the homey feeling of the facility, always clean. We are also very happy with the enrichment program- Circle of Friends- this has been very helpful in keeping my dad engaged during the transition.

The staff is great, my mom is electronics challenged so they had to come every day to help her learn her remote control for a couple weeks. Same goes for the new washer and dryer in her unit. She works out every morning and has a personal trainer 2 x's per week. She has been very happy with that as she is much stronger since moving there 6 weeks ago. Her goal is to stop using her walker. The food has been wonderful. There has only been one meal she didn't care for. She enjoys the coffee bar and breakfast items in the bistro and the overall dining experience has been fantastic. I feel the size of her one bedroom is just right for her. It has been an adjustment given that she left a 2500 square foot house. I think she wished she had her own balcony as she used to sit outside in her house, she lived on a golf course so she could watch the golfers go by but there are plenty of outdoor spaces for her to enjoy once the weather warms up in the spring. She has used the driving service once and has a couple more appointments coming up that she'll use them for. She enjoyed the ride and [removed name] her driver. She has even joined the choir! She hasn't made that one special friend yet but since the community is still getting filled hopefully she'll find a good friend to hang out with. Overall I think she is adjusting well and is now happy with the move. I know I am as she is nice and close to me know.

Our experience at Belmont Village was exceptional. My Dad was there for 5 months in the memory care unit. The staff was very responsive, respectful and kind. Vitas hospice was truly the best in providing care for my Dad and to us.

5 for all. The experience was wonderful and so far very happy with the experience. [name removed] was amazing and very helpful. His assistant [name removed] was helpful well and [name removed] has been wonderful trying to get the and it going.

All are a number 5. What we like the most about the community are the different activities they have to offer and yes, we would recommend Belmont Village West University to other families based on the experience so far.

From the staff, to the nurses, caregivers/PALs, and foodservice crew, everyone is friendly and professional. BV is very client focused, attentive, and thorough. There's peace of mind knowing that my Mom is well cared for and safe. The PALs have been especially great in accommodating requests and in the overall day to day care of my Mom. The facility itself is modern, clean, and it's a place that I'm proud to bring visitors to. The front walk lined with couches is so nice as is the yard behind the memory care wing. The overall vibe is premium and caring-- exactly what my Mom deserves.

Professional staff well versed in their jobs and how to handle each resident's individual needs. Good communication with family members. Clean modern facility with entertainment amenities. Belmont is a great place! We are very happy with it.

Because of their Circle of Friends program, which is unique to Belmont Village, my mom with dementia now spends 8 to 10 hours a day out of her apartment --engaged mentally, socializing, and exercising; I love this. We have dined with her several times and the food in the dining room is quite good. We researched 5 or 6 assisted living facilities before choosing Belmont Village and I am convinced we could not have found a better place for my mom.

Belmont village is a 10 out of five they're amazing. The place is immaculately kept clean. The staff has been there for years and they are wonderful. They know all their residence by name. their Wellness Center is on top of everything and make sure their clients have what they need before they run out. The PT staff is on top of everything. My father had a hematoma that burst and needed surgery and extensive wound care between the home care visits and they coordinate with the staff nursing system to where it's seamless for recovery. The activities are amazing there. My father started in memory care, and within four months was in the transition into general population and within 6 to 7 months, he was moved into general population. They don't pigeonhole people they work to everyone's strengths and make a cohesive, entertaining, active senior lifestyle.

The staff and management are very responsive to all concerns and needs. Very clean and well maintained rooms (dining, activities and bedroom). Lots of stimulating social and exercise activities.

By and large the staff is amazing! Lovely people who seem to really care about the resident and that goes from the kitchen staff to the helpers to the Management. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained. The only negative which I do not even feel very strongly about is that sometimes it seemed that maybe there weren't enough staff to take care of the residents as quickly as would be preferable, but it wasn't because anyone did not work hard or do their job.

Staff is friendly and there are enough of them. Food variety is good and dining experience is as near restaurant level as one can get at an assisted living arrangement. it's not cheap - price increase for the year was surprisingly large.

Belmont Village Encino/ Sherman oaks has been very accommodating for my mother. The staff is great. The care is great, highly recommend.

There's plenty of activities and outings, staff rotates a lot, dining experience was ok - not a ton of diversity in the menu, but not bad. It's comfortable and clean.

All the staff at Belmont Village are kind, friendly and professional. Compared to other facilities we visited, Belmont looks and feels alive.
