They're very attentive and kind to the residents. Although the average age is 72, they're a "younger more active" community of residents. They keep the property and faculty well maintained.

We like that it is well managed and everything is so well taken care of. We especially enjoy being able to get outside even in the winter. We are very pleased with our home.

I am very satisfied with Attivo Trail. There are lots of good things happening here. Movies, crafts, bus to go shopping, special occasions events, bowling, golf when weather permits. Exercise room with equipment as needed, a dedicated craft room always available for individual and group activities.

The staff is incredible. They are all very engaged, professional, kind, and communicate at a high level. Their maintenance team is proactive and very skilled. The "secret weapon" of their staff is the front desk receptionist, [name removed]. She is incredibly friendly, takes the initiative to handle issues that come up, and is a skilled multi-tasker. There are many activities scheduled throughout the week that are both staff and resident led. The activities have good resident turnout. They do not provide meals at Attivo Trail. The pool is often in use and very nice. The gym is excellent. Very clean and organized. The building was a well maintained and very clean. Any new construction issues that my parents had with their apartment were quickly resolved. Prices are very reasonable. This is a very good deal for those who live here.

There is no dining but all other experiences would be between 4 and 5.

My Mom is really enjoying her time at Attivo Trail in Waukee. The place is very nice and they have tons of activities for the residents to enjoy. . Yes, I would recommend the community to others.

So far we have had a great experience with them. We are finding the facility and the staff very well managed and have had nothing but good experiences. We always can find everything very clean and always find everything in good order. If we have any issues we find it very easy to request help and is responded to very quickly. We find it a very pleasant quiet atmosphere.

The staff is great, the place is wonderful and very safe.

Everyone is very nice, helpful… They keep helping with activities for us to do…My neighbors are very nice, everyone is talking in the hallway when you walk by…They have a fitness room with all kinds of fitness you could want.. That also means the swimming pool for exercising, and a hot tub for your aching joints. The apartments are nice a big with a balcony. I have one of the smallest, but I don’t feel cramped… You need to check Attivo Trails out.

Retiring and moving halfway across the United States was not an easy move, but once here at Attivo Trail life fell into place. The staff is very attentive and responsive to questions and concerns. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained. Where it’s located is so convenient to Grocery stores and other places such as restaurants, etc.

Finding Attivo Trail was the best thing. The only complaint is the way they treat the pet dogs. They used to let them walk in the courtyard as long as their messes are cleaned. Now they have to go outside their building and go around in their building.

Attentive staff, many fun activities, friendly neighbors! Apartment sizes vary. Mine is a 2 bedroom,2 bathroom. Washer and dryer are included. Plenty of room!

This is not a facility that includes full service. We live in apartments. No one provides meals. There is no services provided. We rent our apartment and take care of ourselves. There is no assisted living provided.

Every category gets a 5! (minus the food, there is no food provided here so no rating). The staff are very efficient and helpful. There are many apartment sizes to choose from. Also many amenities offered. I would recommend Attivo Trail to others looking for retirement living.

It offers activities and one needs to get involved to meet people otherwise you won't have a chance to meet others. Love it here! I picked this community, because of the apartment layouts and amenities.
