Everyone working there is friendly and cordial. The facility is clean and well maintained. The activities are organized and appropriate for seniors. Transportation is provided within 10 miles. Overnight guests are allowed. Meals are included and prepared onsite. Meals are available for guests. There is a daily menu to choose from.

[name removed] was amazing! She answered every question I had and I definitely made her earn her paycheck. If there was a question that stumped her, she promised to get me an answer. [name removed] was very professional and informative. The facility was very clean and bright. I love the little sitting area/little libraries on every floor. She truly made me want to retire here. Now all I have to do is learn to deal with Wyoming weather.

Quaint , homey, warm and clean environment. Longevity with staff. Beautiful landscape. Plenty of activities.

Lovely, bright place. Saw 2 floor plans. Large window in each. Bathrooms were large & each apt has kitchenette. Thoughtful planning of finishes. Studio was like a spacious hotel room, with room for everything a single person would need. 2 bedroom was perfect but pricey. The 1 bedroom, which I only saw on paper, was my least favorite - it had the big window in the bedroom but none in the living area. And because the entry door opened on the living area it would be odd to switch the function of the rooms. Several smaller gathering places - very home-like throughout the community, with tvs and comfortable seating. Nice outdoor sitting space as well as an enclosed porch. Sales Director who guided my tour was very prepared and knowledgeable. I received floor plans and written materials, including pricing and financial assistance information. Allowing dogs to visit was one of my favorite accommodations. A plus is having a GP, Eye Doc and Podiatrist on staff. The tour took about an hour.

We are very happy with them. The staff is very attentive, but sometimes need to be reminded about things specific to my mother.

We toured the facility for my sister who needs to sell her house and downsize. The two bedroom was roomy and bright with lots of sunshine. Located next to a shopping center with a humongous Giant Supermarket that screams "Convenience"!

Both the tour and presentation were extremely helpful for us. The person we met with did an excellent job with facilitating this.

I really liked the intimate environment of Sunrise Smithtown. It really felt like home. The staff were all very engaging with us.

Caring, professional, committed staff, led by a caring, professional, committed Executive Director. Comfortable, clean facility. Positive activities. I would recommend to others.

[Name Removed] was so kind and helpful. She made the tour informative and fun. Everything was clean and orderly.

Also the people at Sunrise were very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to make [Name Removed] comfortable. I would stop in for breakfast and lunch and even dinner. They were happy to have me and my sons when they came by. She was unhappy and started to ignore me food and drink and passed in her sleep with her son and my two boys as well as my daughter in law present. I toured a number of care facilities. Sunrise seemed to have the best bang for the buck. Very accommodating to visitors. I was able to come and have breakfast lunch and dinner with Grandma. Never a problem. They also had no problem with me bringing in extra staff from Home Instead that Grandma knew to help get her to eat and drink. I provided them with insure for Grandma and they worked on getting her to drink it. All in all a very good experience. Medical staff came to check on Grandma. She was not just put in bed and forgotten.

My brother is happy. Staff responses to my brothers needs. I think it is a great option with low turnover

We are brand new. I like the way they are willing to talk about problems in all areas. They have a suggestion box

I would definitely be on board if I needed assisted living. Not right for independent living. Would be interested if need arises

It really made me feel like I wasn't alone in caring for my mom. The place feels like family. They are awesome specifically [names removed] and [name removed] at the front desk. I would recommend to others.

We're pretty happy with my dad at this place. The onboarding was a little chaotic just getting everything taken care and caught up for his care, he transfered from a rehab facility, so it took a while to get his needs established when he arrived. Overall, we've been very happy with this transition...It is occasionally a little bit of work to get his care needs up for when my dad needs to use the provided shuttle to get him to his doctor's appointments as he is wheelchair-bound. We feel the place is warm and inviting, the staff are friendly and helpful, my dad's been very happy with the meals and he's extremely picky. Overall, we're happy with their communication with us. We've had to work a little extra to get communication smoothed out

[name removed] took my parents on a tour of the place. She was an absolute doll with my 88-year-old mother. Sunrise is so beautiful with lots of activities for the residents to do. They take them to Greenfield Village, the zoo, shopping in general to get snacks, etc. We’re moving my mother in next week and can’t wait for her to enjoy her time. The staff is absolutely wonderful to the residents and their needs. My mom has dementia, but I know she’s going to love it there!! If you’re looking for a beautiful memory care facility with all the the amenities, then do yourself a favor by at least taking a tour, you will love it!

This is a lovely Place, the staff and workers were pleasant. It would be ideal for my Mother, but the cost is too high for her.

The staff is very friendly The food is good & plentiful - served family style instead of on. Tray in your room by yourself. [name removed] likes the activities- bingo - paint night - live music - he's in the memory care unit which is secure but he has room to move around - so far so good.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend them. Loved all the activities available on the daily basis. . It was a great place that felt so right as we walked around the place.
