Wheatland Village checked all the boxes for room size, amenities, petcpolicy, knowledge and helpfulness of staff, special activities, and friendliness of residents

The caregivers are compassionate and always ready to help to make things comfortable for my husband. He is always dressed in clean clothes, shaved, and teeth brushed. His room is organized, clean, and a comfortable size. He never complains about the food. I found having a Salon right in the Memory Care building very convenient for my husband. He can get a mani/pedi and haircut any time. I am very satisfied with the care at Carmel Village at Clovis.

[name removed] was the tour guide, and she was very knowledgeable. Due to the size of the community, we did not tour every section; however, I got a general overview. The community is large; I noticed the residents were happy and comfortable in Paradise Village, a great location.

When I researched retirement communities on the western slope Montage Creek stood out as a place above the rest. Landscaping is important to me and it is most extensive at this Montrose location. I love the huge windows in the dining area. The rooms all have big windows. The staff all seemed happy to be there and the entire place has a good vibe. It's like a resort with any imaginable game or activity available. There are hiking and biking trails and rides to town

very pleasant, well kept, all questions answered, grounds were lovely and activities were planned, the location is quiet and security procedures in place.

The time spent at the facility was well worth it. Now on to the next step of determining if the move is the best next step.

Heads above the other two local options in terms of facilities, layout, design, attitude and approach. Project competence and compassionate professionalism. We left very satisfied our mother was coming to the care she needed.

We have had a wonderful experience here. Everyone who visits my dad is very impressed with the community and the overall atmosphere. The activities are fantastic—especially bingo, which residents seem to really enjoy. The live music is also a highlight, and my dad loves attending those events. One of the things he appreciates most is the interaction with the other residents. There is a genuine sense of community, and he has made many friends who he gets to see and talk with every day. It's comforting to know he is engaged, happy, and surrounded by such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

They have helped take a lot of the pressure off of me when it comes to caring for my mom. They make sure her needs are met and meet her where she is.

Carmel Village is really outstanding. I understand that things cost a lot but most people would not be able to afford living here without added insurance, family help and a good retirement fund. I find the staff very professional and always friendly. Will take the time to answer any questions. If a problem does arise the medical staff call immediately to inform you.

It must be a very good workplace, because every single person we dealt with was cheerful, helpful, and happy.

The administration has been flexible and their promises were true. The staff does a great job being kind and respectful to my dad. I enjoy visiting there because it is clean and the front desk people are very hospitable.

The staff has been great to work with me to help get my husband settled in to his new home. They keep me informed and communicate with me easily. They listened to me when I suggested activities that would interest my husband during his "fidgety" time. His room is always clean, bed made and his clothes put in his closet. They are working with him to place his hearing aids for a period of time every day so he can be more involved with his community. His room is small but adequate. I have not heard him complaining about the food. The staff is pleasant and very patient with him. He seems happy. So far I am very satisfied with his care.

We have been very happy with the room, overall cleanliness of facility, activities, and meal options. Staff is friendly and responsive to our needs. The in-house gym and pool are major pluses. Only thing that's less than perfect is the view. We look "in" at another wing, over the roof of the pool, rather than "out" towards the mountains. Highly recommended for independent Senior Living choice.

I really like the activities and the community. The facilities are clean. I would recommend this community to others.

The staff is super friendly, and therefore the residence really like being there. Everything is very, very clean, very positive. They really work to get to know their residence and their names and try the best they can to make their experience the best it can be.

The lady I met with was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough - I would highly recommend this facility. The place was clean and bright. Very nice staff, provided important information to help me determine whether my mom would be safe and comfortable in this setting.

I was told that this is the best retirement facility in Walla Walla. I concure with that assessment.
