I recently visited Cedar Grove in hopes of finding the perfect place for a family member. The staff made sure that all my questions were thoroughly answered. The nurses and aides value each and every client in the facility and always strive to provide the best care possible. I am very excited to say that I have found the perfect place for my family member!

I have been to cedar grove numerous times and always have noticed the great staff effort, they are very friendly along with the nurses and all they do! The facility is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kindness and patience for every resident is what stands out the most to me. Communications with families is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured about our loved one’s care. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for quality care and a place that truly feels like home. The nurses, aides, and administrative team are compassionate, attentive, and always willing to answer questions or help in any way they can! Choosing a nursing home is never easy, but this facility made the decision feel right from day one. It’s clear that this nursing home operates with heart. The care provided goes beyond medical needs. It’s about dignity, respect, and quality of life. we are so very deeply thankful for all they do!

They were very helpful. However, we are not currently using this facility yet. My dad seems to have taken an amazing recovery. Should we need them later? I will reach out thanks everybody so much!!!!!!

It was an excellent place for my mom to receive respite care, the staff was nice and approachable. She would go there again if they need ever arose.

I thought it worked out fine. Everyone was very responsive and helpful. We looked at residential and home care options for my mom. After considering both, we went with the residential option. My mom now resides in Gull Creek Senior Living. I am very happy I reached out to "A Place for Mom." I would give the experience a 5. [removed name] was extremely helpful, walking us through each step of the process. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My mom is doing well, living at Gull Creek Senior Living.

The tour made a good impression on me. I liked the atmosphere of the place. I even got to talk to the lady in charge of the kitchen and talk to her of my special needs. The place was clean, and the tour guide was very enthusiastic.

I needed to a find a place for my 95 year old mother. The facility she was in was unable to accommodate her. When I first walked in, there was a beautiful fire in the fireplace. The residents were gathered around and the activities director was engaging them. They seem to be having so much fun. As we walked around the facility, I was thrilled to see different amenities such as a movie theater, a small restaurant style room where people could gather and a hair salon. The cafeteria looked wonderful as well. The price was in the ballpark of what we were looking for. [name removed] was very helpful and answered all my questions. We ended up not moving mom to this place because the single bedroom apartment was more of a studio apartment with wood-like floors that would have been slippery for my mom to maneuver.

I would rate it a five out of five. It has exceeded our expectations, including my mother's. she had such a hard time, giving up her home of 50 years. Even though she knew this was the best thing for her it was still a traumatic experience. It didn't take her long to adjust. I was actually with her today and her exact words were, "I'm so happy here, I'd be devastated if I ever had to leave". Her room is one of the smaller rooms as that is all she can afford, but it's plenty big for her and she has it fixed up so cute. The staff couldn't be kinder. The food is really good. It just feels like a warm happy little community there. She's gone on several of the outings and is looking forward to the ones she has scheduled for this month.

We chose Grand Victoria because of all these things. Unfortunately, my mom ended up in their Memory Care unit after developing dementia. Her care there was wonderful, & the hospice staff from Journey Care was amazing.

What we like the most about the community is that it is a very pretty community and most importantly is the staff is wonderful, very helpful, friendly, and keeps me relatively calm during my aunt's stressful move.

Very happy with the Bardwell residence. They worked with us on timing of selling mom's house. Mom has settled in well and is staying so much more active and social than she would have been at home alone.

The staff at White oaks is outstanding. Everyone (from maintenance to Kitchen staff to CNAs and nursing) care for all the residents. The food is GREAT and the activities are so good and fun for the residents. It is like a big happy family. One additional piece of info you need to know about places is if they take ostomy patients. A lot of places don't and that got to be my first question. I didn't want to waste my time on places that didn't.

It is great and yes we would recommend Brookstone Estates of Vandalia community to other families based on the experience so far.

Heritage Wods - Huntley is a 5. The people are extremely nice and helpful. They take excellent care of their residents. I have received positive comments on the food from my dad. The apartment is large and the cleaning staff does an great job. They have a variety of social events so everyone can find something they enjoy.

The building is inviting, my apartment is spacious and staff helpful. I would recommend to others

I found The Village to be extremely helpful in transitioning my Dad from his home... especially related to informing me how to go about applying and receiving his Aid and Attendance benefits from the VA. We were not aware that this pension was something he was eligible for and so thankful that this process was a success.

The friendliness and helpfulness of staff. My Mom loves the outdoor courtyard area that has plenty of chairs, tables, small path for walking & veggie/flower gardens. She also loves the Bistro that has an automatic hot cocoa/coffee/cappuccino machine. They make residents feel as independent as they want. Love the 24 hour nursing staff just in case my mom needs it. The staff knows the residents names. When my mom isn't feeling well they'll bring her meals to her room which is great. I feel so confident that she's being taken care of and not neglected.

Staff works hard to make the move in as smooth as possible. Yes, we would recommend The Village to other families based on the experience so far.

The place was totally awesome. We had no worries about Mom safety with the employees you have there. They were very nice to my mother and made sure she was always taken care of. I can't thank [name removed] enough for helping me get all the stuff going. And Mom really likes [name removed]
