I was very pleased with Heritage woods. The people and staff were very friendly, they had interactive activities, the food was pretty good, and the facility was clean. My dad [name removed] lived there for a year until he passed away. We had an outside hospice company come in and take care of him until the end. I think it was a good value for the money. They also take Medicaid if a resident spends down their finances. It felt like home.

From the beginning of getting my family not only enrolled but every process step by step all of the staff of gull Creek that we worked with were great and my wife and i have been very happy with there availability for visiting, programs and interactions for our loved one. Gull creek has made us see what great care and interest they take in grandmother's health and wellbeing. So thanks to them for giving us such comfort and peace of mind knowing how much our beloved grandmother is cared for at gull creek.

Cost compared to other facilities, this was better. Large studio, large bathroom. Her space and facility clean. Now that I have the family app I can see all of the activities she is doing. Heritage Woods of Huntley is serving our needs.

My experience with finding a place for my Dad at Heritage Woods of Dwight was very nice. The administration people answered all my questions and concerns and made the process easy for me and my Father. My Father likes his apartment and is happy he is still independent.

The location was great. The cost was reasonable. I liked the director, and I liked that the size is smaller than some of the other facilities. I recommend Heritage Woods. My mother is happy with the staff, her apartment and with the staff there.

We picked this community because, it was small all on one floor, friendly, clean, and a lot of activities for my mom to do. What I say is if the place wasn't wonderful, my mother would not be there.

Navigating the decline of a loved one is a difficult and confusing time for everyone involved. The village person all are understanding, sympathetic, supportive and more caring than I would have thought possible. I feel they always have her best interests at heart. They constantly keep an eye on her. They always know where she is. As we transition into more care! I know they keep me informed I could not have picked a better place to keep her safe.

The facility and staff are excellent. The facility is clean and no crazy smells. Activities are excellent the driver who takes to outside trips and doctor appointments is excellent however the driver only stays in the Berlin area so if you need to see a specialist outside of Berlin you will need family to transport. Laundry could be an issue unless you have the staff do your laundry. Apartments have no washing machines and trying to find time to do your own laundry is impossible due to all the laundry being washed daily by staff

We visited in hopes to find a home for my Mom and Dad. Mom went with us and was truly amazed at the place right away. It doesn't feel like a retirement home, but an apartment home. The rooms are spacious, the staff is extremely friendly AND helpful. They get 3 meals a day on their plan or if they want to can make something in their apartment. They are on a floor where my dad, who needs assisted living, and my mom, who needs independent living, can still live in the same apartment. They are making many friends at all the activities they have available daily. They have a NP on staff that visits them every 2 weeks just to check up on them and do what is needed to keep them healthy. They have a dog and we were so glad pets were allowed! From day one the staff has been amazing and incredibly helpful. We have been truly blessed to find a place they both love more each day. Bardwell is a wonderful place for Mom, and Dad!

Very informative and thorough tour. Many nice options for activities and outings. The overall decor is lovely and there are nice rooming choices. It’s clear the staff know and care about all of the residents.

I'm very happy with the care. The care takers are awesome. They take great care of my mom. The Staff is great too. They are helpful and also show great care for my mom. The facility is top notch. Very clean and comfortable.

My mom really likes it there. One of the drawing poi is for her was how bright the hallways were esp. compared to another facility. Both the in and out are very clean and inviting. Everyone there is very friendly from residents to staff. You are greeted as you enter as well as staff. They know all the residents by name. Mom is in a wheelchair now and staff help her so much with anything she needs done. They have bingo every day, her favorite. Also have a variety of other things for different people. The food is pretty good and menu is varied. If anything happens medically wise, they are quick to inform me. They also have a memory care where my dad stayed. I would give them the same rating and would recommend them for anyone who needs this care. As far as price, most asst. lvg. seems expensive but when you think about all you're getting, meals, utilities, medical, I think it's a fair price. Overall mom and I are both happy with IV Greenwood

What I like the most about Heritage Woods of Yorkville is the staff. The staff members there are very friendly and I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

I would say that it was a wonderful place for parents on fixed income. And even if you are private pay they provide a ton of activities and access. It is located in a great spot as well within reach of additional services from 2 townships[facility removed].

I would certainly recommend it to others, so much so that I have become a family ambassador for White Oaks

Our dad just moved into the memory care little over six months ago. The place has been very clean and the staff has been patient with him while trying to accommodate his needs. He has his own little apartment with a little fridge and a sink and some cabinets. They are starting to get more residence so there is different staff there at times. I’m not sure about the food. He doesn’t say much about it. They have had some nice activities. They recently had a car show, they have a family barbecue. They have a service dog that visits. [name removed]and [name removed] have been great. I also [name removed] a few other options for memory care that were not clean and double the cost.

The Village? I had never heard of it, but I'm beyond grateful that "A Pace for Mom" referred me ro visit it. It's tucked away in Westerville, Ohio and the first thing I noticed was the landscaping; big trees everywhere, flowers, a front entrance that has chairs and gliders to sit and enjoy the trees and flowers. In the back of the senior village are raised beds for us to plant whatever we so desire. Plots are divided and whomever signed up gets one for the season. It is absolutely breathtaking to go and see all the flowers and vegetables we are growing. The lobby, I call it the family room, has a huge brick, wood burning fireplace, bookshelves, and multiple couches and chairs, ; which is where I'll be when cold weather arrives. Across a hallway is the activity area where there is always something going on. Parties, live music, games, exercise, a television, a grand piano, and more bookshelves.The staff and residents here are so caring, you feel like you're part of a family.
