Cedarhurst Living LLC

This is the second place I have previewed for a potential memory care facility for my father in law. I was impressed! It is spacious and bright, yet cozy feeling at the same time. When I arrived there were a group of residents enjoying some live entertainment in a common space—singing and clapping along with a gentleman who was singing for them. The dining area seemed spacious and welcoming for residents and visitors, and had an impressive menu. I liked that the memory care wing has added security to prevent residents from leaving. I believe there are only 20 units on the memory care wing. I like that it is small.

Cedarhurst of Wichita is a beautiful facility. The sales manager was very helpful and provided useful information. Staff was engaged with residents. Overall a very pleasant experience in the search for a memory care residence for my Dad.

Very polite and professional staff was able to place my mother in less than 10 days and it's been there for 10 days. Everything is wonderful very accommodating. The food is excellent. The staff knows what they're doing no matter what their title is all the way to the maintenance man who's awesome it will help you hang things TV pictures you name it.

Bright, open, very clean, welcoming and friendly environment. The staff already knew mom's name the day she moved in, and the other tenants immediately accepted her. I really couldn't feel much better about finding a place for my mom.

Well, I would give it a 10, but if you're going to limit me to 1-5, it will have to be 5! While it's my wife that has and is the best person to answer these questions, there are one or two things I feel should be addressed for the safety of the folks living at your facility, as well as visitors. My wife has received this same message, and will be responding as soon as possible. I will say that everything I have heard from both my wife ([name removed]) and her mother (104)[name removed] has been nothing but high praises! Every time we pick mom up for an appointment, etc. she always talks about how friendly everyone, staff & tenants alike are. And she is really impressed with the meals that are served.. The first thing she tells me when [name removed] & I pick her up, is to make sure that I get her back in time for whichever meal is next to be served!! (The Chicken Tenders seem to be her all-time favorite! I think she would eat them for breakfast, if they were offered.. ha ha!) I appears that you folks, ALL do amazing jobs; from the meals constantly being prepared/served, to keeping the entire building hospital clean, to helping and just being there for anyone who may need a little help with something, or assistance on finding their way to their exercise classes, etc. I don't see how anyone couldn't be anything but impressed with Cedar Creek!!! Thank You ALL, for providing such a Loving, Caring and SAFE environment for our 94-year old Mother! May the LORD Bless, watch over and protect each and every one of the staff for the selfless work they do for our families and friends !! Our community is extremely fortunate to have Cedar Creek, and it's competent & skilled staff! I strongly feel that when a business, of facility like Cedar Creek, stands out to where they are setting the bar for everyone else to follow, then you bet other people around our community SHOULD know about it.

The staff is wonderful. They all love [name removed]. I would most definitely recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

I toured the facility and it was beautiful and spacious and had wonderful outdoor space. The rooms on the memory care side were spacious very clean. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. They have lots of activities planned for the residents and a wide rage of food. Everyone was very gracious and helpful. They made me feel comfortable on making a decision for my loved one at a very hard time in life.

My dad [name removed], really enjoyed his 2 week respite stay there! He liked watching football and even a movie in the theater. Only 1 thing he mentioned, was saying they were out of chocolate milk or something on the menu several times.

My mom had no adjustment and is loving it! I would recommend to others

Friendly staff & residents. Clean Only wish there wad an apartment available closer to the elevator and that in house "life alert" was available for independent living, not just assisted living. Happy they are accommodating our need to move in soon.

Excellent facility, just wasn't suitable for mom. She needed long tem care. The staff was nice, the facility was beautiful. I wish she could have gone there to stay. I would recommend this facility to everyone who was interested in assisted living.

Main entrance was very clean bright and decorated. We were able to reserve the party room for a family party. Room was clean and bright. Plenty of room nice kitchen facility. Bar fixtures and a pool table also vidio games for the children. Our family member who is a resident was very happy to spend the evening with family!

Very nice tour and staff. Impressed that this facility is dedicated to memory care, no assisted living, etc. They have a professional staff with more medical support than most. Seem more equipped to handle physical disabilities.

Fantastic experience, very happy with the service and professionalism! Very nice facility, good attention to residents, amazing activitu schedule, good food with alternate choices available. Senior exercise/PT team is outstanding!

I thought the place was really nice and welcoming, and the staff seemed very friendly as well. I really liked the layout of the facility too. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and I appreciated the different choices of rooms that are available.

I recently toured Cedarhurst in Newburgh for possible future placement of an immediate family member. The facility is very clean, decorated nicely, and a comfortable setting. Staff seemed really friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the layout of the memory care unit as that's whst we will need for our family member. It's a bit out of our price range but reasonable compared to other facilities we toured. Definitely worth looking into depending on your budget.

Cedarhurst in Wentzville being a new facility is beautiful. Very well designed and gives a cozy feel. Being a level 2 assisted living facility it has the level of care we require. But the staff is whet made the difference. [name removed] is a gem. So warm and understanding. Everyone from the receptionist to the head of nursing and sales were just so warm and caring. We feel like we don’t need to look any further

Staff is over the top. Very pleased with everyone from Top to bottom. One thing that has been so remarkable to me about the staff is that it doesn't matter what their title is if there is a need in memory care they are there, day or night, helping do anything from cleaning the carpet after an accident to helping serve food to hands on care for a resident or assisting family members. They obviously are all well-trained and know exactly what To Do in the various situations. Also as we have been there 5 weeks now and I am with [name removed] a lot, I have observed how they put much effort into meeting each residents Individual needs as each one is different. One night, during our first week., I was in the apartment with [name removed], she was resting. I accidentally called up to the front office and then hung up when I realized I didn't mean to call them. 2 Care givers were in our apartment within a minute or 2 to make sure everything was alright. I didn't even know they had my cell number at the nurses station. The food is always very good & well balanced.It's really nice that [name removed] or I can choose from the special or order of the menu at any meal or any time through the day. Plus we also have the option to go out to the front restaurant if we choose. Another benefit of Being at Cedarhurst is be enabled to go out into the main lobby where assisted living residents often gather. They are very good to speak with [name removed] and encourage her and love her as well. The fun activities and crafts are also very helpful in helping [name removed] have good days. It is nice family members can join in with them on the activities. Our grandchildren have really enjoyed that. Cedarhurst a nice working relationship with the hospice workers that has been an added benefit. They welcomed me to bring in my guitar on sunday mornings and sing hymns with the memory curve residents. That has been a blessing. The apartment is perfect both in size and cleanliness. We were also able to hang anything on the walls we wanted and furnish the apartment. However we felt was best for [name removed]. So in summary, even with [name removed] Lewy Body/ Parkinsons, she still has good and bad days and that's to be expected with that disease. The good days are better than they ever were at home for the past year. And I know that is because of the Cedarhurst staff & the community environment there. I couldn't give her those things at home as hard as it was to admit. The bad days are intense for her but the staff does everything they can to help her come out of the hard symptoms.

Facility is well maintains and clean. Staff is caring. Loved one we had placed there was helped and eventually released.

High Price. 1 bathroom for EVERY unit. Nice size units, one and two bedrooms and studio. Yes, I would recommend Cedarhurst of Wentzville community to other families based on the experience so far.
