Great memory care facility with a caring and helpful staff. Everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive to residents' needs. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. I would highly recommend it to families looking for quality care and peace of mind.

Had a very nice visit and tour with [name removed] about the facility. Everything was very nice. Timing wise, my dad declined and we didn't need their services after all.

The facility was bright, cheerful and welcoming. The tour moved at my mother's speed and we never felt rushed or pressured. My mom is excited to move in over the next couple if weeks.

They are very happy with the staff and level of care he receives. He's had several issues that have landed him in the hospital, and the staff is quick to identify these situations so they know he is being looked after. They mentioned how Cedarhurst partnered him up with another resident with whom he visits several hours a day--great for social interaction and mental well-being.

The facility is very nice. The staff does a wonderful job and works hard to make sure that the residents are safe and happy helping them with their health needs. The facility and rooms are clean and the food is very good. My mom is in a studio and the layout really works for her and the cost is very reasonable for rent and care. I would highly recommend this facility.

No pressure, very friendly, and Eric was super easy to talk to, and he focused and talked to mom before he talked to my brother or myself.

The staff are very caring and responsive. They have an online communication tool that is updated daily listing all of the activities mom participates in. Her room is so much cleaner than where we had her previously.

It has been a God send. The staff found a way to get my Mom there because they understood the situation we were in. They listened to our needs and insecurities and it has honestly changed the trajectory for my Mom. She has a studio apartment there and she feels at home. My dad spends most days with her and the room is comfortable and spacious enough for guests. The staff has been lovely and she actually really enjoys the food offerings. So far it has been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful facility, we liked everything about it other than they didn’t have a piano lol. That is what my mom cannot live without. She also wanted two bathrooms in a two bedroom apartment.

Cedarhurst of McHenry is a beautiful facility with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to my mother’s needs. The nursing staff provided good care and communication, and we appreciated the variety of activities offered for residents. The food was good, and a nice variety was offered. As is common with many assisted living facilities, response times for assistance were sometimes longer than we would have liked, and meals were occasionally served less warm than expected. It’s also worth noting that nursing staff is on site from 8am to 8pm, which may be something to consider for residents with higher medical needs. Overall, we were pleased with the experience and appreciated the kindness and support shown to our family.

Cedarhurst is a beautiful facility with inviting outside grounds. The wellness program seems excellent & there are a good variety of socialization & educational opportunities. The menu in the dining room is varied & interesting. There are "windows" for each meal so a person need not "show up on the hour". There are several different floor plans offering options for space preferences. The staff seemed welcoming & engaged. A very nice community.

All our answers were fully answered and we have been well received. It is very friendly and caring. People are very polite and friendly.

Our tour guide was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. She answered all questions, listened closely to the information given then asked appropriate follow-up. The facility itself was amazing. Well appointed with several amenities. All the residents seemed happy and that is a great sign.

The nurses are very pleasant and do a very good job with her. Everyone we have dealt with has been great.

I took a tour and was so impressed. The cleanliness, friendly staff. Location was great. The residents seemed happy to be there. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the rooms that could acess the outdoor patio.

Honestly, I would give them all a 5. This place is wonderful in every aspect. It has been the best move for my grandmother. The staff is amazing! I highly recommend Cedar Creek!
