Garden at shadow hills is absolutely amazing. The caregivers are attentive, compassionate, and always go the extra mile to make sure residents are safe, happy, and well taken care of. It’s clear they genuinely care about each individual, treating them with dignity and kindness. The activities offered keep residents engaged and social, which makes a big difference in their overall well-being. The meals are also well-prepared and nutritious, with attention to residents preferences. Overall, I highly recommend this assisted living community to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and supportive place for their loved one. It gives families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in such good hands.

They have new owners and now it is called The Gardens at Lake Wellington. They have upgraded the exterior appearance. They are making some interior upgrades as well. They have hired some new staff which has helped in its operation.

Our mom just became a resident here and we are so impressed. A well maintained facility, with an amazing staff providing a wonderful environment. We encourage you to visit and believe you will be equally impressed. Thanks to the entire team at the Oaks of Garden Ridge...you ROCK!

My dad had to go in to assisted living following a traumatic illness and an extended stay at a skilled nursing facility. It all happened rather quickly and [name removed] and the staff at Provident helped to make the transition as smooth as possible. They have welcomed him in and made him feel like a part of a community. From his room, to the med techs, and the entire staff… all have become an important part of his daily life. He stays active and involved thanks to their social director, [name removed] , and even enjoys a weekly on-site “Happy Hour” including live musical performances! The best part is that I have peace of mind knowing that my dad is well cared for and in the best place possible.

I love the nature in and around the building - especially the spacious patio off the activity room where residents can relax in the shade and birdwatch. Inside, the activity room is always abuzz with engaging games and crafts led by activity director [name removed]. [name removed] is a multitalented leader who keeps the building streamlined and well-maintained for residents. Her expertise as an RN ensures residents receive top-quality care 24/7. In all, it’s an engaging, welcoming, and well-run facility I always look forward to visiting.

Well where to start [name removed] is such a caring lady towards the residents, management there is on point for the residents,the e.d [name removed]is a nice lady that is on top every thing there,and can't forget [name removed] the maintenance man he gets the job done, this place is such a respectful facility

I have been going to Provident at Buda Assisted Living for years. They give excellent care to the elderly. This is a very caring and loving facility. They are very hands on with all of their residents. They go above and beyond to make sure their residents feel at home. This is a place I would recommend anyone to take their love ones. They make you feel like real family. The staff is wonderful!

The activity Director always keeps the residents busy with crafts that they can take home and use at home. They love the bingo games and really enjoy the atmosphere of good quality time with friends or family. And especially the profound impact of genuine care, compassion, and dedication when families place their loved ones in the hands of assisted living facility staff. They are trusting more than just daily care, it's their peace of mind they're helping the people who mean the most to them. the Gardens of Buda their trust has not only been honored, it has been exceedingly. The staff here go far beyond the traditional expectations of their tasks or a simple job description! the staff are an excellent part of their heart they create community and camaraderie, amongst the others in this residence and are not just cared for they’re value in a lovingly kind manner. The care and compassion shown to my mother is all I had hoped for. The staff are friendly, patient and supportive in meeting her daily needs. They always have time to listen to my concerns, answer any questions and keep me posted on her care and for that I am grateful.

This facility is great, always making sure residents are safe and clean. They take real good care of their residents, always having activities, great food, showers, and more. Both memory care and assited living all care for their residents equally, i would 10/10 recommend.

When you finally have to leave your loved one in the care of professionals, it can be very emotional. It was for me and having to move mom into a facility that has 24 hour faculty was hard but needed as her balance was off and falling. This facility and the caregivers made this transition very manageable and with ease for me. They have become like family to me and I really appreciate the care, love and support they give to mom and our family. I would have her any other place.

The staff is very kind and welcoming I would recommend to others.

The staff are very friendly. She is always clean and dressed well. They have a nurse practitioner that sees her every month to check in and is very communicative. They don't have great activities but I think that's ok. The ratio is pretty small. They feed her as much as she needs or wants.

When you walk in you feel like you are at home. The staff is very caring and attentive. The cooks take pride in the food that is served. The admin and assistant are more than willing to answer any questions that may arise.

The Provident so far has been the best place that I have found or experienced for my mother. It's a smaller more stable team stable. Meaning they have been there for a long time. I haven't seen any turnover. I've seen some new people come on, but I have not seen any turnover since she moved in. They genuinely seem to care they take involvement in helping my mother with her healthcare management and work with her when she's having a bad days or feeling anxious or getting confused and are very patient they communicate well with me. Talk through things with me really involve me in her care and experience there so I have that sense that we're a team. The facility is really nice. It's well laid out. It has a very Homie Feel. The decor is really nice. It's clean. They seem to keep up with her room and keep her room really tidy, even though she can be messy so overall I have a very positive experience and we looked at many places but the director there [name removed] just really stood out and was willing to work with us and just carried in a way that I didn't see in the other places and we also had a really negative experience at her prior assisted living facility in Arkansas so it was just quite a contrast to come into this place and she's finally happy happy with where she's at and really getting settled in so I definitely recommend the Provident for anyone looking for really top quality care for their loved one that's still affordable. They really work with you on pricing and it is a place that my mother can be at overtime so even if she gets to the point where she needs memory care it's still the same team she can move over to that side, so still be in the same place with the same team so I like that longevity aspect of it and it just has the best environment that feels the closest to a home and that I have seen and any of the places that we looked at. The only challenge is transportation services are limited, only available in the mornings Tu and Th. So that has been a challenge. However, they just got new ownership and so we're hoping that will be improved.

We like the smaller size of the ALF ... capacity about 45 residents max. Good staff to resident ratio translates to better care. The rooms and facility layout are also a plus. Well managed, it has been my Dad's home for over a year
