The staff. They care about the residents and strive to make sure we know that. They greet you by name and ask if anything is needed or if I have any questions. The vibe here is positive and I've never felt like part of a herd. The residents are also mostly friendly. There are a few curmudgeons, but then again, you can push their wheelchairs down the ramp and wave bye-bye. Unless they have the brakes on. Then you have to just walk away.

Woodcreek Bend is a medium sized facility, large enough to attract qualified staff and small enough for very personalized care. Our family member moved in right after the facility transitioned to 100% memory care in [date removed]. There were some distractions with staff turnover during the first 18 months but those issues seem to have been resolved. The staff interaction with residents is overall very compassionate and caring. Facility is well maintained and also equipped with a generator. Our journey concluded last week. Knowing three years ago what I know now, Woodcreek Bend was the right decision.

I highly recommend this place if you need someone to take care of your family member and your loved ones this facility made my mom feel like she was a part of their family never made her feel like she was an inconvenience when it come to relaying information to myself they never made me feel like it was an inconvenience to keep me informed and updated on her care I received several pictures of field trips and activities that she was always involved in and the smile on her face said it all. So if you need care for your family member or loved ones you should seriously consider making an appointment to have a meeting with this facility And see if they fit your needs I have a strong feeling that they will

Choosing The Reserve at First Colony was an easy decision for us. Four friends had already done the leg work comparing local assisted living and memory care facilities in Sugar Land. All four concluded that The Reserve at First Colony was the best fit for their mothers. Giving up her home in Arizona, her friends and her church was gut-wrenching for Mom. It took several months of adjustment. Now, Mom is thankful for the thoughtful leadership, attentive care givers, planned activities and camaraderie of the community. The size of the facility is perfect. The single-story layout is easy to navigate. No steps or elevators! Three dietician-planned, chef-prepared meals are served in the sumptuous dining room flanked by two courtyards. Mom enjoys getting her hair done in the salon. She attends church services there. On-site physical and occupational therapy, along with daily exercise help keep her mobile. Ongoing improvements to the facility will ensure that it continues to be a top choice.

The staff is excellent. Leadership team is top notch. Caregivers are kind and helpful. Good communication, always glad to receive input to help the residents.

While checking out potential care facilities I had read a couple negative reviews about WoodCreek Bend Memory Care, but I decided to check them out anyway since the reviews were from 2023 and 2024. I am SO glad I did. When I had the tour and spoke with [name removed], I learned that the reviews were from under the old leadership which was no longer there. The new Exec Director [name removed] and his new Director of Resident Care [name removed], each brought in their own, trusted, excellent people. They also started new training programs for the staff to really understand how it felt to walk in the shoes of their residents. We decided to move my mom in and while decorating we placed a video camera in her room. This has given me beautiful glimpses of such a caring team of caregivers. I have been honestly blown away at the incredible kindness that the entire team has given my mom. Everyone speaks to her with respect, kindness, and gives wonderful answers to her many questions. Excellent staff and leadership!

The meals are better during the week and the activities are improving. Facility is very nice with friendly, helpful staff. My sister who is very picky was very impressed with the facility. The maintenance man is wonderful about fixing any issues quickly.

The staff has been absolutely wonderful to work with! Everyone has been very kind, they communicate well, and offer a wide variety of activities for the residents. The facility is very clean and my mother loves the meals they provide.

Nobody wants to go into assisted living or memory care.My mom had hard time adjusting to the change but has adjusted much better and quicker than expected.Your people are caring and compassionate and great at what they do and the quality of care they give everyone there.May God bless you all very much.

Overall, we are very happy with the reserve at Katy. The staff is friendly, and treat my mother like part of the family. For our individual situation it puts a financial stress on us, but that would be the same at any facility. Overall, every time I visit my mother I'm grateful for the reserve and their staff!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Reserve at First Colony, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic place to call home. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful landscaping and well-maintained grounds that create a welcoming atmosphere. The amenities are top-notch, featuring a cozy lounge area perfect for relaxing or socializing with neighbors. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued and supported. The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and filled with natural light. I particularly love the open floor plans and stylish finishes that make each unit feel like a personal retreat. Plus, the location is unbeatable! It’s close to shopping, dining, and parks, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

My experience at The Auberge has been perfect, even better than I expected. I can’t say enough positive things about [name removed] he Registered Nurse, and the staff. I take great comfort in knowing my Father is safe, checked on daily, receives medication assistance, is well fed, and receives assistance with laundry and light housekeeping, weekly. The facility also had an in-house Doctor that treats the residents. Everyone employed here, in my view, goes above and beyond to do their jobs well. I’m greatly appreciative.

First time being at an assisted living facility and if the other places have 1/10th of the dedicated staff, variety of services, and quality of rooms then we will all be better off. Dealing with a myriad of personalities and needs can be challenging, but The Auberge at NO takes great efforts to give the best care possible. We can give candid feedback in writing or the many scheduled face-to-face meetings with administrators.

Reserve at First Colony is a good place that feels like home. There have been quite a few changes in the staff. The care all depends on the shift and the lead. It is improving under the new director and there have been a lot of changes in the caregivers.

The Reserve is such a warm, welcoming community. [name removed] worked with us to make the transition go well for my father. The entire staff was friendly and respectful of our time with our loved one. The new local owners are working to update all aspects of the facility. I promise - You will not be disappointed with the care that your loved one will receive at The Reserve!!!

The receptionists are so friendly and kind. The Director walked along side me as I was making some difficult decisions. It was greatly appreciated. There are delays in getting medical appointments made. Need lots of follow up. I know that she is well cared for and that is what is most important to me.

My mom loved the staff and that this facility was close to home. The meals were lacking in ease for patients to eat and activities did seem to be far and few between
