Bright, open facility. Feels welcoming. Staff is very friendly and treats your loved one as if they are a part of their family. Love the staff, how they treat my mother in law and try to get her involved.

The communication has been good. Our loved one said the other day she's never had a bad meal. The staff is both friendly and dedicated. They are willing to work with families for the best outcome. We would definitely recommend The Pearl.

The staff is very friendly and engaging at The Pearl of the Shoals. They encourage resident participation in the activities. They are very good at communicating with the family, especially since she is in Alabama and we're in Florida. Her daughter is local and they keep her apprised of anything that comes up. Housekeeping is once weekly. We've heard that the meals are good,. Family can drop in for a meal with advanced notice if more than 1 person and we hear no complaints on the food. For our situation, we would definitely recommend this facility to others. It's a perfect fit for our family member.

My loved one is a resident at The Pearl of the Shoals. Everything has been great here so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great! The meals are great! Everything is good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We love them! Mom is happy here and loves it. They are really good to her and take great care of her. She has dementia and if she doesn't want to go eat or anything like that, they will bring the food to her. They have been very accommodating. I would definitely recommend The Pearl of the Shoals to other families looking.

We had a great experience here with my loved one. They took really good care of him. The whole thing was wonderful. He loved the staff, they were great. My loved one is a picky eater, but the food was good. They had a variety of activities and encouraged him to participate. The staff didn't let him just sit there and not engage. Housekeeping did a really good job. His room was as clean the day we left as it was the day we arrived. Communication with the family was wonderful, they never hesitated to call. When making our decision, I was a little worried because we didn't have a lot of options. But this facility was a great choice. They took excellent care of him and I felt very comfortable leaving him here. He's even said he'd be willing to go back, which says it all to me. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The entire staff at Brookdale are wonderful! They go out of their way to make people feel welcome. It's very clean and updated. They offer lots of activities. I would highly recommend Brookdale to any of my family and friends.

I am just thrilled with the change in my dad since he has moved here. He has made friends, even found a girl friend that he has brought to meet me. At first, he felt his room was a little small but even that has changed and he is comfortable. He enjoys going to the dining room and says the food is great, likes all the different activities and the field trips to do his shopping. The staff here are very friendly and they show that they care about their residents. I would definitely recommend this community.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with Heritage Assisted Living! We really appreciate all the kindness and concern they've shown our loved one. They've been a big help throughout the whole process! We also really like the variety of activities that they have. It's a very nice place, overall!

Our experience with Brookdale Shoals has been a very positive one! The people here are very friendly, and they're taking great care of our loved one. She is really enjoying all of the events and activities they have, and is staying very busy!

It's been very good. Compared to where she had been, where she was paying almost twice as much as we are here, when we moved out her furniture stuck to the floor, it's much cleaner here. She just loves the staff here, they have a much more personal touch, they come through to check on her often. They have more activities than the last place, and they have good down home cooking. It feels more homey.

They are clean and the staff is friendly. It's a pretty good value. They are quick to respond to any concerns or requests. They seem to have a good variety of activities going on. We chose them because we needed a dementia unit, and they had the availability. We haven't had any trouble with the laundry or the food and I can't think of anything that needs to be improved or done better.

We loved Brookdale Shoals! We enjoyed the grounds and it felt very welcoming. The location was great close to home and family. They were reasonable priced but adding medication administration added an additional $500 monthly which made it out of the budget.

Staff seemed to love their jobs & the residents. They tried really hard with my husband, but he fell several times& was angry because he was away from me. He was not adjusting so I was asked to bring him home. He needed more mental challenges & more physical help. They were geared more to just simple dementia than his Parkinson's. (In memory unit) We need a place here specifically for Parkinson's patients! I did think they took good care of their residents & would be a good place for many families!

Our loved one had only been there for a few weeks before having to leave for rehab for treatment - we are hoping she can recover and go back soon because we have had a great experience so far. We really like the overall atmosphere of the community, right when you walk in and even walk out you just feel happy. The gentleman that was running the place and who helped out loved one get moved in has now left to do mission work and we hate that because we loved him, he was wonderful. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend The Pearl of the Shoals to other families.

Their motto is " We are a family". They treat their residents like family members. I have recommended them to friends. We have had a few issues with the food. They serve a lot of fried food. The room sizes are good. The Heritage is a little smaller size community which is nice. They have an outdoor patio and a front porch. We have been happy there. The staff is great, they are very responsive.
