Delta Retirement Center

The cost has gone up too much on all items. I would say that it is a good experience if you can afford it.

The staff at Delta Retirement Center were top notch and were able to get my father a place in their hospice center. The care that my father received while there was great. I would recommend Delta Retirement Center for any family.

It's good quality and close by. I would recommend it to others. The communication/interation with the staff has been good.

5's across the board. My Mom loved every aspect of this wonderful facility, and so did we. I would actually rate the food a 6. The Villa staff treated my Mom like a part of their family. They were kind, generous, compassionate and went above and beyond the service requirements I would 110% recommend Colonial Villa to other families.

The main reason that we went with this facility was because of the price, the space available, and the flexibility. I would tell others that the care staff at Delta Retirement Center are separate from the facility staff.

our experience with Delta Retirement Center has been great! [name removed] is the caregiver that has treated my dad as if he was her dad. she has been so kind and caring towards someone who is struggling with their final days of life. she loves him like her own, he feels that love and he tells me that. it means the world to me that they have someone there who loves him like I do, especially since I can't be there 24/7. there are some caregivers that I have not interacted with so I am unsure how they are outside of [name removed] and [name removed]. we had to bring in help from the outside for our own financial reasons. its not that Delta is inadequately staff, we just had to do that for our own monetary reasons. they do offer transportation for doctor appointments and grocery stores, but my dad hasn't used that service yet. our favorite thing about Delta is that they don't make you feel like a burden. a lot of times we put our loved ones in these communities because we can't care for them properly or they need more attention than we can provide. at no point do they make us feel like a burden, they seem like they're happy to have your loved one there. it's important to note that my dads health and his mobility has declined since being there, so our experience may be different from someone else. its not that they're unwilling to help, they just aren't set up for those who need round the clock care. that is to no fault of the community, his needs are just a little more demanding than we anticipated. I would recommend this community to those who are a bit more independent, but still need a little assistance.

My friend lived here at Delta Retirement for a couple of years and we were pleased with the experience. The facility is more homey feeling and I liked the people. It is independent living, so my friend just needed more care.

Things are going great for my mom here. We chose Delta Retirement because everyone was super friendly and helpful. The cost was also more reasonable than some other in the area for what she got. She had a friend who already lived here too and enjoyed her experience. I would absolutely recommend.

They seem to be helpful and very accommodating when they can be. The apartment size and all of that makes my loved one feel like it's more like her house. She can put things where she wants and do what she wants. She enjoys the food. Overall it's not a depressing place. She was one who thought it was going to be like a nursing home. Even though she made her own decision to try it out, it took her a while to realize this wasn't a hole in the wall she was going to. She really enjoys it overall. One thing we have really noticed about her is she has become more active, and the social part of it, interacting with other people her own age, has made a huge difference overall.

I chose Delta Retirement Center because it is very close to my sister and the value for what I am getting, it is much more affordable. My apartment is good size and I am very comfortable now, they are very nice and updated. To me, it does not seem like there is a lot of variety on their menu and sometimes the meat can be a little dry, so I do think they could use improvement there. They did just open the dining room, so it may be improving soon. They are now offering something you can wear around your neck or wrist and you press the button if you ever fall or need anything while you are at the facility. I have used it a few times and they come very fast. I would highly recommend them to others looking.

The people that would do best here would be seniors that are mentally with it. The staff is very caring but they don't do memory care. I would recommend this community to others

The staff members at Colonial Villa are awesome, we would rate them higher than a five if we could. During the lock down they were still amazing and handled the chaos very well. The time our loved one was there for respite, they worked very well with us and really treated our loved one good. The activities they offered were good as well.

Delta Retirement Community is clean, has wonderful services included with rent, and friendly staff. I am very happy with the choice of Delta Retirement Center for my mom.

My Father spent the last year and half at Delta until his death in September. The staff was awesome the entire time he spent there. My dad was so thankful that he spent his last days at Delta. My brother and sisters highly recommend Delta. Thank you to the staff, you all are great and caring people

We absolutely love this Community! With only a few days left in the Rehab facility for our dad, we were able to see an apartment the same day and put the deposit down. They just took over from there and figured out the placement even went and meet with dad in person, explained everything to him and made him comfortable with the move. They worked with the Lady from the Rehab and got all of the info, they needed including setting up home care. Thank you very much for going above and beyond for us!

We have moved both my Mom and my father-in-law into Delta Retirement Center. They both have dementia. They are very happy there and were not happy to go! Delta's staff is very friendly and caring and and very helpful to the residents. Both have settled in and love the meals and activities. It's like sending your parents to summer camp! I highly recommend this facility as a place for your loved one to live. We are having an all round great experience here.

This is a really nice facility. They care a lot about the residents and go the extra mile to make sure they are comfortable and satisfied. It is very clean with no stinky smells. My mom was reluctant to go, but now that she is there, she is very happy. I highly recommend this place for a loved one.

We feel our Mom Both Potter is getting excellent care. Her little Aide Teeia is so good with mother. She seems to be accepting her place a little better and we realize it isn't like home. She is always clean, room always clean, meals appear good and luscious and entertainment she likes.

Mom enjoys various activities at this community. She is always saying the food is so good. She is able to have her dog with her and I did hire a young person to come walk the dog daily. The community is kept very clean, the trash is taken out daily and they do her laundry. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

In the search for a place for our father my sister and i toured this facility. We absolutely love the the layout of the facility. It was very encouraging to see quite a few people involved in the activities and overall in the Cafe. We are very comfortable knowing dad will not be confined in just his room but able to make friends and socialize. We felt very well informed of what the next steps needed to be in order for dad to be able to move in. We are thrilled to have him move closer to us and enjoy our time together.
