Bay Harbor Assisted Living

Bay is great, the staff there treated the residents as if they were their own grandparents, all r very sweet and supportive. I'd recommend Bay to anyone looking for combo 24/7 care for people who r either not great physically or slightly mentally at [removed]k a month, so not cheap.

Small size, close to home. Nice staff. Would recommend.

It is a well-staffed place with caring staff and beautiful outdoor spaces and views.

The Bay Harbor facility is lovely, bright and airy. The staff are sincere and caring. My husband has received excellent care and I have the support and kind understanding of the administration to assist me through the transition and "paperwork" process. Although the kitchen team is extremely flexible with eating times and needs, and so nice, the food is still institutional. As with all residential facilities of this type, cleaning all the rooms can be challenging however anytime I have a small issue the staff is promptly responsive. Overall I would highly recommend Bay Harbor to anyone needing residential memory care services.

The staff are friendly and you can tell they care about the residents. We chose Bay Harbor partly for the size of the rooms and private bathrooms. She can also have her own furniture.

They were very helpful with paperwork and the transition of getting my mother into the memory care unit. She was a little scared to move out of her house and move into a new place but they were very welcoming. Caregivers and staff are very kind, they have a lot of activities and fun things for everyone to do and my mom loves to be involved and has made a lot of new friends. The facility is very clean and very well taken care of, a very homey feeling.

We struggled getting information to complete taxes. My sister is the primary person who clips mom’s finger and toenails. They may here and there. Basic hygiene is not addressed: shower, brush teeth, different clothes. I haven’t brought it up so not sure if that’s fair.

The Meadows has been a great place for mom. The staff has been wonderful. I am so grateful that A Place for Mom existed to help me find such a wonderful place for my mom. The facility offers a lot of activities to get residents involved in. Staff is caring and friendly.

We needed to move fast and [name removed] was very attentive and supportive with our transition. She made a difficult situation easy to manage. The caregivers are wonderful. They take the time to talk and interact with my mom. So far so good. Lots of space and big beautiful windows.

This place is great. Lots of activities, food is wonderful and staff is excellent.

The staff is amazing & very caring for your loved one. Their patience is amazing. They have also been helpful to me while navigating through my dad's journey with dementia.

It's hard to rate number 8 without getting costs of other facilities in the area, but I would guess it to be a 4 or 5 by comparison to them. But it is, nevertheless, quite expensive. Staff: low turnover of key people. Genuine care for the residents. Outstanding food service. I do highly recommend the Meadows.

The staff were wonderful and caring. Mom ended up on hospice and passed [date removed] and even in the end they had a beautiful way for her to be taken out of their facility by the funeral director. They worked fabulously with the hospice staff also. I couldn't be more pleased with Bay Harbor of River Falls.

We just referred a friend of the family to go live there.The staff is friendly and personable. It's a homey environment. You have opportunities to mingle and socialize if you so choose. It's a safe environment. You are an individual there, not just another resident. And you get to be who you are there.

The facilities were clean. Floors were swept and moped regularly, along with vacuuming. The cafeteria area was free of crumbs or food sitting out. The individual rooms were cleaned weekly or more, if needed. Staff was extremely helpful, very nice, and answered any and all questions we had from the first visit to the day we moved her belongings out. The nurses were great with her meds and at the beginning of the end, kept us updated on changes in behavior, eating habits and so on. They also helped with getting hospice help.

I would give the Meadows of Fall River a 5 in all of the categories you listed. This has been a wonderful place for my mom! She has done extremely well, At The Meadows, and her level of care has been great! The staff and the administration are willing to listen to our concerns and expectations, and do all they can to meet them! I would recommend the Meadows of Fall River to anyone!

I've been very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. As a RN, I have high expectations for other health care providers, and I believe my stepmother is getting excellent care! [name removed] was instrumental in getting my stepmother in the facility, and she was a tremendous help and comfort guiding us through that process. Her successor, [name removed], also was helpful when my stepmother recently needed hospitalization. I'm concerned now that [name removed] has left as well; both for who's actually in charge now and how things are being managed but also for who comes next as director, and why did the previous 2 directors leave so quickly? Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon and to a satisfactory level.

The staff members are very friendly and helpful. They are willing to work with the families to ensure the best care. What we like the most about the community is the staff members willingness to alter care plans as needs change. Activities.

I am a current resident. August 2023. I feel very fortunate being here. The staff are excellent and attentive, the food is very good and consistently hot which I have found in other places it's difficult to find. There are plenty of daily activities. I appreciate that there are church services here from several churches in the community. The residents are quite nice to socialize with.
