We needed to move fast and [name removed] was very attentive and supportive with our transition. She made a difficult situation easy to manage. The caregivers are wonderful. They take the time to talk and interact with my mom. So far so good. Lots of space and big beautiful windows.

I've been very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. As a RN, I have high expectations for other health care providers, and I believe my stepmother is getting excellent care! [name removed] was instrumental in getting my stepmother in the facility, and she was a tremendous help and comfort guiding us through that process. Her successor, [name removed], also was helpful when my stepmother recently needed hospitalization. I'm concerned now that [name removed] has left as well; both for who's actually in charge now and how things are being managed but also for who comes next as director, and why did the previous 2 directors leave so quickly? Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon and to a satisfactory level.

From the first days my husband has been there to now, the place has improved so much. The addition of a Director and RN has made it such a better place. Always someone there to be able to talk to on issues and they do get addressed. An industry that is not for everyone. It takes someone special to do these jobs. Everything is well taken care of but could use some updating, mainly the carpet. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. I have gotten to know the staff and they are always so nice. So nice to be greeted by them calling me by my name. They have always been so friendly and caring to my husband. He in turn has had some very bad days and giving them a very unnecessary hard time. As rushed as they maybe, always are pleasant. They are doing the best they can. Like any other place shortage of staff is an issue. Not always easy to be 2 places at once. Would I like it different “yes”. But understand at times not possible. Maybe understaffed and under paid. My husband always tells me how good the food is. No complaints by him! Seems there is always something going on that the residents could partake in. Puzzles, movies, music entertainment, card games, games etc. just happens my husband is not interested but it is very available if he wanted to. He never was interested in these things when he was at home When it comes to the value for cost, not sure I can rate this. At times “priceless”. I understand what it was like to care for him at home and when I could no longer do it, this is when I needed to get help. Not an easy decision but when I had to make that decision so thankful for a place like the Koselig House , their caring staff for me to be working with.

They are struggling with keeping the turnover of staff down but we understand that is an issue across the medical field and all fields right now. With that being said the care they give to our loved one is good quality care, we would not take her any place else. The location is very close to us so it makes it easy to come and visit. They do have a lady that comes in a few times a week and does activities with the residents which is nice.

So far we like The Koselig House, we are really enjoying the peacefulness of the place and just the overall friendliness of the staff members. The entire facility is extremely clean, but sometimes the individual house keeping in our loved ones room could use some help. We like that the community locks from the inside so the residents are able to wander the entire facility safetly. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families.

This community is so beautiful, the staff care about the residents and over all the cleanliness is good, they have housekeeping staff and even a activities coordinator, they really have it all and am comfortable sending a loved one here.

The staff is still trying to do activities through covid and are taking them outside to get fresh air. My dad said the food is good and well rounded. It's also a newer facility, so it is more modern and cleaner. The rooms are very nice also I would recommend this facility.

This new facility is an open concept...so spacious...basically out in the country from all the others we have checked out. They had some start up pains but that is fixed and we think it is a VERY good place. They changed activities director so we expect activities to be much better. I am there for part of a day every week and everyone is nice and the place is clean. I would recommend this place to everyone.

It's a beautiful facility and very clean. I liked the wide hallways and open spaces. The bathroom was very accessible. I liked the country setting with southern exposure. The head chef had been in the restaurant business so I knew the food would be good. I also chose Koselig because they had a nurse/ director. She was let go shortly after mom moved in. This was a bit troubling because it appeared that nobody was in charge. This was a negative.

My Dad was previously a resident at The Koselig House. [Name removed] was a 5 all the way. Some of the other staff, their care and friendliness, left something to be desired (some told us how overworked/under-staffed they were and wanted to know "why we would bring Dad there with covid," as if we knew that he had it!). Trust me, that was worst scenario timing for us, as well as the staff. But I do feel, after I explained and asked them to pass the word, that it got better. I understand being overwhelmed. Overall, I would recommend The Koselig House to others. I also greatly appreciate The Koselig Houses' willingness to give us a shorter period of private pay. That was a huge weight off of my Mom's shoulders and definitely decreased her stress in Dad's final days. Thanks!

My loved one is very happy here, I'm very happy with this facility as well. The staff is very friendly. They have a new Activities Director and she's wonderful. My husband got to the point where he was unable to stand. After three days of working with her, he's standing and looking almost normal! I'm very impressed. This Activities Director is awesome and is just what they needed here. My loved one can be quite messy when he eats and they've been pretty good about cleaning him up after meals. I just wish the floors weren't carpet. They are a bit short staffed and my loved one complains that he sometimes doesn't get to bed on time, he likes to go to bed early. But we understand. Other places have made my loved one feel like he's on the verge of getting kicked out, but not here. He feels safe here. It's expensive, but every facility is. I have recommended this facility to family and friends and will continue to!

Very professional tour provided by [name removed]. Facility does offer transition from private pay to Medicaid. Very clean rooms as well as no lip on the walk-in showers top avoid possible trip hazard. Do not have a la carte option for those, like [name removed] now, who can make their own meals, etc.

This is my first real experience with a facility for my wife, who has Dementia. The room is comfortable, there is plenty of natural light. Staff is friendly and helpful, but like most care facilities, tends to run short handed. There is some disconnect with the administration due to staff changes. The food is very good. The open common areas are large, so they never feel crowded.

The staff are very friendly. They seem like they take care of my dad pretty good very clean place smells good. They could maybe try to bring the price down a little bit. I will have to talk to them about this again since they have Hospice in there now the price should come down because they are doing some of the stuff. Just my opinion.

The staff I met were always friendly. There is a current prosecution of a former member of the staff for stealing my Mom's checks and forging checks to herself. Also KH had frequent issues with management shortages. I would not recommend them. I could hope to do better.

The lack of staffing has been the biggest issue. There is a major lack of fresh vegetables on the menu as well. There is no correspondence back to the families either. Overall there are just a lot of improvements that The Koselig House could make to improve the experience.
