Serene Gardens

Kind supportive staff. The hardest part is learning names of 3 change of shifts. Of all the horror stories of other places, I'd have to rate it a 5. Food is good, my husband has made friends too.

My mom has lived in several assisted living homes over the past 9 years. Serene Gardens of Hartland is by far the best. The entire staff is amazing, the director and head nurse are far and away the most knowledgeable and involved caregivers I have ever met. Within 4 hours of arrival, the nursing staff had identified several "inconsistencies" with my mom's medications and we worked together to straighten out all the issues I had brought up to the head nurse at the last facility. The chef is amazing and the food is wonderful. All the residents appear to be well cared for, clean and happy. My mom is very content and, as a health care provider myself, I have a lot of respect for the entire staff. The staff also sems happy and there is very little turnover, which tells you a lot about the management. I wish I could give it more stars.

The care was genuine, the cleanliness was always fresh and clean, communication was excellent.

We checked out this facility, and several others as our loved one's physical and mental health was declining. We chose this facility because it was close to our home, we could visit as often and for as long as we liked. The facility was also very helpful in putting a room together with short notice--even providing add'l chairs and a TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good and guests could also eat with residents in the dining hall or resident's room. We would recommend this facility and use it again if the need arose.

Serene Gardens of Imlay City is a wonderful facility. The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful whenever we have needed something. It is a very nice place that I would definitely recommend to other families looking for care for a loved one.

The murals on the wall made it feel peaceful and warm, the staff was very attentive and caring it was a challenge for mom as she had dementia and didn't want to leave her home at [community removed]

Everyone i have interacted with so far have been great. Many of the go above and beyond to help. Rooms are little apartments. Her bedroom is 10×12 ish. She has a small fridge, microwave, sink and cupboards in her kitchen. She has a nice size living room and her own bathroom. There are around 3 things planned a day that they can choose to participate in. They get three choices at every meal.

I have met with [name removed] on 3 separate occasions. She is wonderful as well as her CNA [name removed]. [name removed] takes enormous pride in this facility. I know of others that have their loved ones there and they are pleased. My dear friend I’m privileged to care for is being transferred there and I have no doubt that this will be a warm loving and caring environment!

The staff is very nice to us. Always ready to answer a question. They are super patient with my mom. Laundry is always done and she and her room are always sparkling.

From the moment I walked into the facility I knew this was the right place for my mom. All of the staff takes great care of her and the food is excellent. Caring, clean, and a variety of activities.

What we like the most about Grainhouse Grove is the consistency of care. Good food and snacks. Activities and accommodations. Clean facilities and open areas.

I couldn't have asked for better care for my Grandma! Everyone was lovely and made my Grandma feel comfortable and taken care of.
