Artis Senior Living

We have been so impressed with everyone at Great Falls and feel so lucky that my uncle has such great care. The people are so kind and caring. He seems to really enjoy the activities and has settled in well.

Unfortunately, my husband was recently diagnosed as needing memory care. I turned to A Place for Mom and was connected to a friendly, knowledgeable advisor who recommended several appropriate facilities within my area. After many calls, visits and research, it became clear that Artis offered the most unique environment for memory care residents. Their neighborhood concept for 16 residents consists of their own fully equipped modern kitchen, attractive dining room with tables for four, a beautifully decorated living room with a fireplace and large screen TV and a lovely screened in porch. Other common light-filled areas feature high ceilings and comfortable seating for casual gatherings. Aides are specially trained and assigned to assist individuals throughout the day. Many activities are planned and organized for this population’s enjoyment. At this difficult time, it is my fervent hope that my husband will find peace and comfort in the outstanding accommodations at Artis.

This is a beautiful facility. A lot of careful planning and thoughtfulness went into making this place safe for loved ones with memory issues. It is wonderful that they furnished rooms available for new residents if need a place right away. They choose to have their own possessions there as well. I like that there is an option to stay there up to 14 days if a temporary place to stay in needed.

This Valentine's Day I want to share how amazing the folks at Artis are. They've been caring for mom for the past six months and have turned her health around. When Dad became ill recently and was placed on hospice the staff could see the toll it was taking on me, trying to make sure I was able to attend to both of their needs and help mom understand why he wasn't able to visit for "Sunday funday", our weekly family tradition. The director of community integration suggested I bring dad to Artis so he could spend his last days with mom. I was blown away that they would do this for her (and me, and dad) and it was a beautiful ending to their life long love story. Dad spent his final moments with mom by his side. I thank God for Artis everyday, and this beautiful gift of closure they were able to give us as a family. Amazing people, amazing place!!!

The staff here are very caring and genuinely attentive to the residents’ needs. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

[name removed] is a nice man. He asked us relevant questions about our loved one and was very descriptive and helpful about what the facility has to offer. I really like this place. It is clean, the staff speak English, the residents seem happy and well taken care of. Unfortunately for our family member, it seems a bit small. He likes to roam, so needs more space and people.

This community not only looks and feels different than any other Memory Care in Palm Coast the staff was amazingly interactive, smiling and are friendly. The residents seemed engaged and the Community is very open and bright with outside access to a courtyard.. A must see before you make a decison

There connection to the patients. They had a level of respect and compassion that I appreciated. I would recommend them to others. They had excellent follow through and were very patient and understanding of our unique situation and the complexity it created.

I was very impressed by the "hominess'" of this facility. Everything was clean and bright and the residents and staff I met all seemed very friendly. After my experiences with two other facilities in the past few months, this feels like heaven. I'm hoping to bring my loved one here in the near future. Thank you!

The staff continue to be top rate as far as I'm concerned. They indeed have a very trying job. I am very pleased with the overall program at Artis. Their focus is solely on meeting the needs of Alzheimer's suffers. The daily programming involve exercise, music, playful, and mentally stimulating activities. Resident are able to experience a wide variety of activities to keep them occupied. Artis offers support to residents family members. Good communication between staff and families. My wife remains very content. Which is extremely important to me. No one wants to place a family member in a facility outside your own home. But since placement was necessary I feel fortunate to have found Artis. I can recommend Artis to anyone needing this service, without hesitation.

I was very pleased with my visit to Artis Senior Living of Mason. The facility was clean, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and the entire atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The most interesting aspect for me was that Artis seems to be far more proactive in ensuring that their patients engage in activities and their minds are engaged and stimulated. They didn’t just allow their patients to self isolate and wither away as is currently happening where my wife is staying in Portland, Oregon.

My father was in another memory care facility and I decided to check out others. Artis is so much nicer and brighter. Bedroom with his own bath. Very impressed with the layout and residents seem very well taken care of without the restrictions the other facility has. Some residents were walking around or using walkers. At the other facilities the residents were all in wheelchairs.

My dad is not the easiest to please and he actually has not one complaint about it . They do many activities with the residents ,he is well groomed by staff they are all very friendly It was a great choice for my dad we are both happy I highly recommend this place

The staff here is 5 stars.I would put my own Mamma in here. Food is excellent. Very clean. Attention is paid to medication distribution. Inmates are very well taken care of. Very friendly atmosphere.

Staff is wonderful and it has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. All private rooms...good size...lots of community space and numerous activities.

I believe the fact that they specialize entirely in memory care makes a huge difference. At other facilities memory care residents can feel like second-class citizens compared to the other residents -- we saw this elsewhere. But at Chestnut Ridge they take such pride in serving people with dementia and treating them with the utmost dignity and respect. The activities director [removed name] is amazing and they are always doing something fun. The layout and feel of the place is very warm and homey. They really do care about the whole person, seeing the residents in the context of their full lives and not just as "dementia patients". We have been thrilled with the place.

I would say the room gets a five and the food gets a 5 as well. Activities is very hard to operate with these people that are losing their memory, but they've made a good effort and I give them a four The night staff gives a five they were excellent, but the morning staff was about a two I came there in the mornings sometimes and I felt like there was very little staff and that's when the elder people get up early All in all, it's a good place.

Our family highly recommends Artis Senior Living of Evesham. They treated our mother with dignity and respect. They took great care of her.

I toured recently for a family member and was pleasantly surprised. Number one the beauty of the facility. It is all on one level not two. That made me very happy in the respect it made it easier for the residents there to get up and down and go to activities. Staff was extremely polite and very up beat. I stayed till dinner time and the food looked very appetizing. Residents appeared clean and well taken care of. All and all it was a great visit.

I recently visited a resident of this facility and witnessed first hand a very clean and comfortable environment along with a extremely compassionate and attentive staff that provided engaging activities focusing on how the facility improves their residents' well-being while providing peace of mind for the families. Lovely facility!
