The staff have excellent communication with me. My mom has been living there 11 months now. And she comments to me that she is treated well! Her meals look so delicious and her appetite is good. The dining room is lovely. Apartment sizes are good. Staff also schedule activities appropriate for residence. I am thankful that my mom is in good hands!

There are so many state rules that the facility has some challenges. This makes some things difficult. Wish that the aids and med-techs didn't have to be servers at meals. This makes their availability much harder for residents who will have to wait for assistance. Also, night meds seem to come very late on some nights. Great executive director!

Staff was great and facility clean. Mom liked the food. Happy with experience while she was there about 6wks. Also she liked the activities.

I am a vendor at Heron Club at Prestancia. They are always friendly and helpful. Everyone has a smile and a kind word and are always spending time with the residents. They often offer me lunch and the food is excellent! I highly recommend this place based on the happiness I see in the residents and the staff.

My grandfather was moving into Heron Club, before he arrived, he took a turn for the worst. This community helped me prepare him for Hospice Palliative Care and were so doting and caring during his transition. When I left there, they felt like family. Truly top-notch care and compassion from this team! I would recommend 1,000 times over!

To say my mom is happy is an understatement. After years of encouraging my mom this is what she needed she still refused, until she went to The Club at Prestancia. I knew my mom would like the name because she is a little extra! Pulling in it was all that! Beautiful! Then the way we were greeted was warm, heartfelt and genuine. After she moved in, it seemed to get better. The food is out of this world and Im so thankful for the friends she has made. She has all the care in the comfort of her new home and I cant say enough nice things about her nurse that makes sure she takes her medication. Our only regret is that we didnt do it sooner, it is simply the best.

I'm very happy for [name removed]. He has the freedom to walk around the beautiful outdoor area. Trees and shade everywhere. A pond with turtles and fish, who eat the bread that is thrown to them. 10 for the food, [name removed] loves the food. Chef introduced himself to us and said not to hesitate to ask for something. He will do his best. [name removed] is the best. He did everything to help [name removed]. We had a big problem getting a sign prescription list. [name removed] managed to have their doctor help sole the problem. 5 afternoon snack time. Great value for the money, yes, yes. It's an older 80s place, but it's great. [name removed] has a nice size room and bath. Yes, very friendly. Very nice neighborhood safe, clean area, close to a hospital. Heron East is a really nice place. Heron East has its own charm sitting in a remarkable beautiful community. Mature trees, shade, also a nice smoking area in the shaded area with chairs. Bench sitting is everywhere with lovely patios thru out

my grandma was in need of lots of care. we found carriage hill and she has had the best experience. The care staff, activities and the management are amazing. i sometimes see the management still there at 7pm at night, and they always greet me with a smile. i recommend carriage hill and consider it a blessing for my family.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Heron Club at Prestancia! From the very beginning, [name removed] went above and beyond — he made what could have been an overwhelming process so smooth and easy, guiding us through every detail with genuine care and thoughtfulness. We truly couldn’t have done it without him. Since my father moved in, life here has been wonderful. The staff is attentive and warm, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the community itself feels vibrant and alive. There’s a real sense of connection — from engaging activities to restaurant-style dining to beautifully maintained spaces, everything is designed to make residents feel at home and cared for. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated like family and have the opportunity to thrive, we highly recommend The Heron Club. It has truly brought us peace of mind and joy knowing my father is in such a great place!

My mom was a lot to handle! I thought everyone was extremely professional, caring and patient. I thought the way they handled mom’s belligerent attitude was wonderful. I can not think of anything I could have done better! I highly recommend them.

The faculty and staff make my mom feel very welcome and safe. They really take time to talk the residents and get to know their behaviors so they can tell when something is off.

It was a big move for my mom to move to memory care unit. I am so thankful for the care she has received this past month since moving in. The staff are very caring and I feel relief that mom is safe. There are activities for her daily and her meals are very good!

[name removed] director of sales has been super helpful in every way possible he goes above and beyond to help. I like the activities they do. Yes, I most definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had.

Everyone was very kind and friendly. They were wonderful with the patients very caring and kind. I had dinner in the dining room with my husband a few times and the menu was varied and well.prepared. When his illness progressed to the point he couldn't go to the dining room they delivered it to his room. I could go in and out whenevercI wanted. They knew me by name and were helpful. After he passed away, they were very helpful with removal of his furnishings. I would certainly recommend the Heron Club on Prestancia.

The property is a little outdated. I had some issues with the sales process but it worked out in the end. I would recommend Heron House to other families looking.

When I went to visit my grandma I was pleasantly surprised! Nursing homes are not always a fun place to be! All the resident's were happily playing games and listening to music upon entering and all seemed to be good friends. My grandmas room was comfortable and homey and the staff was very friendly! I felt comfortable going back home out of state. The director of nursing was compassionate and you could tell she had a good relationship with all the resident’s, it was nice seeing them all be so comfortable with her and sneak in her office for snacks!

My loved one only spent only a few day's there when I went away on weekends. It was a very well-run facility. All of the staff genuinely seemed to care about their residents.

It's cozy and has a nice library. They need to improve on the food. For activities I don't know if they have an ice cream social.
