Amazing staff

Stanford Lodge has great staff that offers round the clock care. They have an amazing staff that takes the time to get to know every resident and their families. They also get to know each residents likes and dislikes and are able to provide care for them based on those likes and dislikes.

Stanford Lodge of Sunfield

Community is in a small village outside of Lansing. Very cute facility and small town vibe feeling. If you are looking for a smaller facility with great care Sunfield is where you should consider taking your loved ones.

We had a great tour experience with Stanford Lodge. We thought this was an absolutely beautiful facility, but unfortunately we were unable to afford it.

They did not have any openings and this community was on the smaller side. It had a homey feeling and seemed very attentive but they did not have any openings.

I would not recommend.

My experience with this facility was very, very poor. I was extremely disappointed. Which is why my mother is leaving after only two months. The only thing adequate was the food. ZERO on everything else.

Care of residents and staff

This is a horrible place to be. They always run out of food.People who need to be fed usually dont get fed. They dont care about the residents it's just a pay check for them. They can't keep help, they are treated poorly. They cover up a lot of incidents there. Their has been family members who have taken their loved ones out of there. They do not get the care they need. Their medications are so messed up. They don't give residents the medication they need. Some residents they give medications to knock them out so they don't have to deal with them. Residents will be soaked or in a bowl movement brief for hours. They DO NOT check on them like the should. Management has had to do a drug test, he tried to use a residents urine and was caught. Nothing happened to him. Got a week off.
