Hard working, conscientious and courteous staff. Owners and management personally greets and have hands on day to day operations. Residents are lucky to have such experienced and caring individuals to care for them during their daily activities.

It's been pretty good. I know she is safe and happy there. The staff is good, and it's clean, and the care is good. They are very friendly and accommodating. We liked that it wasn't too big. The owner even helped us fill out the VA forms, that was huge.

I visit this personal care a few times a month for work. All of the staff work together to care for the residents and they are pet friendly. There's even a resident dog there to greet you when you walk in. It's nothing big or fancy but more like a home. If you live in the Speers/Charleroi area and are looking for a place, at least go take a look around.

Our experience was better than other reviewers, but you must realize that this is a low budget operation as per the price listed. The facility is older but well-maintained. I personally enjoyed its quaintness though some may find it too basic. Our loved one had incontinence but was always clean, as was the rest of the facility, and we visited at least weekly over 14 months. The vast majority of the staff was extremely helpful and attentive, as was the management. Some were exceptionally dedicated. This is not a memory care facility and the most common complaint from residents was too few activities.

It is a small, and intimate community but good value for the price. The communication is okay at best with the staff. I would like to see better communication from the staff overall about my loved one.

They don't have a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in for my loved one.. Depending on your loved one's needs this might not be the place for them. If you loved more needs more assistance for medical care for example. Due to the pandemic there has been staffing issues.

When I took a tour the community was under contract and being sold. The staff that took me on tour was very confused and was unsure if they were going to offer respite care. I left my information for a call back once everything was sorted out and they never got back to me.

My father was in here and it was presented well by [name removed] but that’s about the only person worth being an employee. They locked up all the old people early every night and the workers have them selves out loud session of their own not too far from the residence. They have no concern for the people sleeping and handing out meds his by individuals who have less than a year experience and the turnover of employees is continuous. Most of the people are family of the director. They are trying to spruce up the place with plants and paint but that doesn’t cover a multitude of sin.

We did not have a good experience at all with Victoria Manor from the get go. Just all around a bad experience.

I did not like this community at all, it was very old and outdated, really needs to be renovated. I saw two people that worked there, there was a lady washing dishes, and a gentleman that looked as if he had just eaten lunch, he was not dressed well, not professional. The community was not clean. It was not organized, the one room that I looked at shared a bathroom with another room. I didn't care to stay long enough to talk about the services that they offer or see if there were any activities. I would not personally recommend this community to anyone.
