Came to visit a good family friend and immediately the place was lively with activities going on for the residents. The decor of the place was very beautiful and modern with many Eastlake mementos. I Their facilities looked clean and I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were attentive and helpful. Everyone was super caring and I feel secure knowing my friend is in good hands.

The overall experience was superlative. The facilities are new, well designed, and well maintained. The food, activities, movies, and other offerings are easy to access, varied, carried out beautifully, and designed to appeal to a wide variety of interests and capabilities. The staff are, to a person, wonderful. They care about residents and family, interact with courtesy and professionalism, and are deeply concerned about the well-being of their residents. We had a studio for my mother's respite stay: It was well-appointed, cheery, everything functioned well (TV, air conditioner, WiFi), and everyone from the care staff to medications management to laundry and cleaning were beyond conscientious when it came to interacting with my mother AND her space. The staff at Aegis Living in Ballard take real pride and have a personal investment in building a supportive, caring community AND keeping their newish facility in peak form.

During our time at Aegis, the staff was very involved with the care of my mom. As a family member I liked knowing who was actively involved with my mom's care. They were very friendly and peasant and easy to talk to. A variety of activities were offered each day and as family, I was also welcome to join. The apartment my mom lived in was cozy with a personal bathroom. There was enough space in the room for her hospital bed, two sitting chairs, and a cabinet with a television. The facility was always clean and the staff welcoming. The smell of fresh popcorn, made daily, added to the overall ambiance. The cost is higher than other places we looked at, but the care my mom received was worth the value.

Our overall experience with Aegis Living Newcastle has been very positive. Finding the right assisted living community for my mom was an important decision, and we have been very happy with the care and support she receives at Aegis. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about the residents. It gives our family peace of mind knowing that my mom is in a safe and supportive environment and that there are people looking out for her. One of the things we especially appreciate is the cultural diversity of the community. My mom is Japanese, and there is a large Asian resident population at Aegis Newcastle. They do a wonderful job of recognizing and celebrating the many different Asian cultures represented there through their activities, special events, and food. This has been especially meaningful to us and helps make the community feel comfortable and welcoming for my mom. The community itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. There are many activities and opportunities for residents to socialize and stay engaged. My mom also has a very large one-bedroom apartment, which is wonderful. She has plenty of room and a comfortable space of her own while still having all the care and support she needs nearby. Overall, we have been very pleased with Aegis Living Newcastle. We are grateful to have found a community where my mom is well cared for, treated with kindness and respect, and where her Japanese heritage and other Asian cultures are embraced and celebrated.

The tour of Aegis Bellevue changed my mind about assisted living. I found the staff to be incredibly compassionate and helpful. As [name removed] walked me through the facility she made it a point to acknowledge each resident we encountered by name. It was very obvious they felt special cherished. I want my mom in a “community” not a “facility”. Thank you [name removed] and the rest of the staff for your kindness and for clearly being a huge part of what makes Aegis special!! I know mom with thrive here.

As a personal assistant supporting a client who now calls Aegis Bellevue home, I’ve had the chance to experience the community up close on a regular basis. The facility is consistently well maintained, clean, and welcoming. The staff stand out — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring toward residents and visitors alike. Dining has been a highlight, with quality food and a pleasant atmosphere. I’ve also been impressed by how consistently the team organizes and hosts activities that keep residents engaged and social. The downtown Bellevue location is convenient for visits and appointments. Overall, it’s a warm, well-run community I’d recommend to others searching for care for a loved one.

My husband is a resident at the Aegis Bellevue in old downtown Bellevue. The atmosphere from the moment. You walk into the building is warm, and very welcoming. The staff is very very welcoming and I really like the fact that it is not a huge residence of 130+ rooms. It is a smaller Aegis residence, and many of their others, which provides all the same amenities, but in a more family oriented atmosphere. It is also not on a busy street which makes it quite pleasant to spend time outside. It is very close to many different restaurants within an easy walking distance from the residence.

I recently visited a resident at Aegis Senior Living in Bellevue and was so impressed. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the entire community had such a positive, vibrant atmosphere. The beautiful views, engaging activities, and genuine care shown to the residents really stood out. You can tell the team is passionate about creating a place where seniors can truly thrive. I feel confident that my loved one will be cared for at Aegis.

Aegis Living provides a warm, welcoming, and caring environment. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to residents’ well-being. The community is clean, beautifully maintained, and offers a variety of engaging activities. It’s reassuring to know loved ones are in such capable and caring hands.

I'm so happy with the care my mom receives. The care team is exceptional. She receives the assistance she needs, is actively engaged, loves the food, and has made friends. This transition has given us tremendous peace of mind knowing that she's safe and well cared for. Plus, the building is absolutely gorgeous and the lake and city view spectacular!

We are very pleased with our mother staying at Aegis. The facility is like a small hotel with a spacious single occupancy room. There are comfortable spaces for visitation. The staff are kind and helpful. Our mother's caregivers are patient with her incomitance. The meals are tasty to mildly bland. Despite the high price, we are glad we chose Aegis.

Excellent customer service especially communication. The staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating. I would recommend to others.

The staff turn over is low (many key staff have been there since we started last summer), the food is amazing, always clean, as mom's dementia has progressed. We see them meeting her needs at each step.

I've been happy with friendliness and concern the staff and caregivers have shown. The food is also very good, which is important. Their room is spacious and clean. If I raise an issue it has been taken care of promptly.
