My husband and I needed to find a safe place for his oldest sister. We had been receiving phone calls from the county police in regards to her calling 911 four times in as many weeks. Dementia and delirium are horrible diseases. We had no idea where to start. I reached out to A Place for Mom. Immediately I received a call, a contact person and a list of recommended facilities. They offered to set up tours, and followed up with our progress. With the assistance from A Place for Mom we found Trustwell of Springfield. My sister in law is settling in, we feel good about this decision. Thank you A Place for Mom and [Name Removed] (at Trustwell) for making this transition a bit easier.

[Name Removed] is a gem to work with. Very knowledgeable, kind, helpful and always willing to help. She made my dads move to Trustwell easy and made us all feel comfortable!

The people at wildflower Place, especially Alicia Newland are amazing. [Name removed] bonds well with her patients, is easy to work with and is a great communicator. She works hard to make sure each patient has exactly what they need and if she can’t meet those needs in her facility then she ensures a prompt referral to an appropriate facility for that patient. I have found the [Name removed] has nothing but the best interest at heart for each person that she comes in contact with.

Recently toured for my grandma and was extremely pleased with the whole facility![Name Removed] was the most helpful in giving us all the information we needed!

Staff in memory care are kind and gentle with each guest. Food is a highlight. Dad has gained 20 pounds this year and truly loves the food. The staff learns each guests favorites and makes the effort to delight them. Trustwell has the best memory care features in my experience. Small population, plenty of staff with good personality, great nursing staff, responsive management, and lovely environment. It is not fancy but it is safe and each guest is well cared about. The facility is clean and has no odor problems. Staff and management has changed in the past 6 months and the improvements just keep coming. The most unique feature is the apartment sized rooms. Each guest has a bedroom and living space along with multiple storage closets.

I instantly felt like home when walking in - I was pleasantly surprised at how active the community is. Smiling faces everywhere. I am very thankful there is a community like this for my loved one - it helps knowing that they are being loved so deeply.

The management and staff are phenomenal here at Trustwell Miller Place! They know our mom's needs and look out for her wellbeing daily. We are so happy she is here. We could not have chosen a better assisted living home for her.

This place is amazing! They take great care of the residents! They keep the facility very clean and the food is reasonable for the residents that stay and their families! The staff is very friendly! Overall it’s a very clean and nice facility.

Food was good and nurses were very generous and helpful. Facility is very nice well kept and cleanliness is phenomenal. Staff is always looking to help and answer any questions you might have regarding an issue.

The team there is amazing and my uncle has only incredible praise for them. They are caring and all seem to be on top of his care. If I could give them a 10 I would. 100% would recommend. And if someone is worried about the level of care a family member will receive...... don't with this amazing place. They are treated like family

We moved my mother in [Date Removed]. My siblings and I are very impressed with the care she is getting. There isn't an employee that hasn't been friendly and shown care. The facility is clean and doesn't have the "nursing home smell or feel". And my mom takes part in the many activities that the staff does with the residents. You guys get a very tall thumbs up. We thank you and appreciate what you do and how you do it.

The Place is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. I would recommend it to other individuals that need assisted living.

An overall general rating of 5 stars would be applicable. There was an incident within the first few hours of moms arrival where she sustained a skin abrasion to her forearm because this one particular nurse was being too aggressive assisting Mom to the bathroom, but the incident was reported and the situation was quickly dealt with. Aside from that, the staff there at the Highlander Place was absolutely wonderful. Moms stay there was brief (16 days) as her decline was quick. The facility and room were clean. The food was very good. My mom and I constantly received all the attention we needed, and then some. We felt very fortunate to have had that level of support and assistance from the care teams there as well as the nursing care and attention from Eden.

My loved one is treated gently and respectfully by the staff and the administration is always attentive and responsive to loved one and is easy for me to communicate with.

I love the place is small, and it seems to be one on one if need to be. The people there was so nice when I was walking around.
