My husband became a resident on [date removed] Staff is kind, respectful and focus on making his life as good as it can be. They also provide groups for family members as well as time to be with our loved ones and participate in an activity together. The nursing staff keeps me updated as to how some new meds are working for him. They contact his Dr. as needed. The facility is clean and well maintained. New rugs and flooring were installed, but it was business as usual and they made it work during this process. I feel so confident that I found the best place for him. Leaving him is so difficult but I feel at ease that he will be taken care as I say goodbye each day.

During the week there are several fun activities each day. The food is great. The staff are pretty nice and know the residents well.

I’m very grateful for folks at the Lighthouse at Lincoln - the Sales and Marketing Director and Reflections Director have been particularly supportive. The facility is beautiful and the staff is very well trained and welcoming. They offer tremendous support for the families of people dealing with dementia. And the food is awesome too. Their knowledge and understanding have been a great blessing for me.

Every single staff member is warm, friendly, and genuinely positive. From the very beginning, we have always been welcomed with a smile. Whenever help is needed, it seems to appear instantly. The facility itself is elegant yet maintains a fresh, home-like atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The care and attention given to my sister-in-law are truly second to none. As a former CNA, I am especially attentive to the details — and I can confidently say they cover every base and then some. Phone calls are always returned promptly, and any staff member — from the office to maintenance — will gladly drop what they’re doing to assist you. Most importantly, they truly care about your loved one. I would give The Lighthouse my highest recommendation.

My mother was scheduled to join the Residence at Cherry Hill. Sadly for her family ,happily for her, she died a few days before entering the residence. My mother died suddenly at age 100. She had lived alone until 2 months before her death. A couple of falls had her in a rehab facility until her demise, but she had recovered and was looking forward to Residence at Cherry Hill, although she expected to return to her home eventually. My mother was very happy with her apartment, which her family had furnished with her furniture. Sarah Herrmann, marketing director, was very helpful. She understood my mother's intent to return home, and explained to our mother and family that The Residence contract was a monthly contract, and she could return home when she was able to return home. Mom had lunch with other residents at the facility, while the family discussed the facilities. Mom and her children all were impressed with the facility. We immediately entered into a contract!

This tour was fantastic. [name removed] was delightful and the entire staff was so welcoming. The facility was gorgeous and so well designed. The one bedroom was a showplace. My husband and I would like to move there eventually. I would be happy to have my mom there at some point in the future.

Lovely exterior with enough parking. Inside the main lobby you are welcomed by a reception desk where you need to sign in and give information about who you are visiting. Everything looked very clean and well maintained. The person I met for the tour was easy to talk to and gave me all the details I needed.

Lovely, well-run facility with many amenities. the grounds are lovely. There are many activities and food is know to be very good.

I was interested in common areas and liked how much light the great room has and how uncrowded the seating is. Likewise, the apartment we saw had lots of light. We have had several meals at Shelburne Bay. I appreciated the variety of options available and the freshness of the ingredients. The wait staff were attentive and polite. We have friends living at Shelburne Bay. They are very happy with how easy it is to meet other residents over meals or at scheduled activities. They are also pleased with the number and variety of activities available. The staff person who took us on a tour was personable and knowledgeable, willing to answer all my questions. I think this would be a wonderful place to live!

I would highly recommend the Lighthouse. We switched from another facility and have been so pleased with the level of care they have given my father as well as supporting my mom with this transition through their family trainings and support groups. They train all of their staff with working with individuals with dementia. Most staff have experienced family members with a dementia diagnosis which is definitely observed with the compassion given to their residents. This decision is not an easy one but I know my dad is in the best care he can be with needing this level of care.

The staff at the Lighthouse have been wonderful with caring for my father-in-law. The staff are well trained and all staff are friendly and compassionate. They are definitely the experts in the area of dementia and support their residents and families.

The entire staff is genuinely friendly & willing to assist with every task. They go above & beyond. I did place my Dad here and he loves it. It is a wonderful small community. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Staff is always available. The dining room/food available gets 5 stars as well. Highly recommend!

I have not seen my Mom as happy as she has been since living at The Residence at Greatwoods! She was living an isolated life before. She was very hesitant to go to meals and activities at first. The staff worked really hard to help her break out of her shell. She has really turned it around and is very positive every day! I honestly never thought she would ever be happy again! It’s a phenomenal place!! If you have an opportunity to tour it, definitely do so!!

Can’t say enough about the staff at Lighthouse compared to our previous memory care experience. From day one, the team has been compassionate, responsive, and genuinely supportive. The difference in care, communication, and attention to detail has been truly remarkable. Special thanks to the Sales and Marketing Director for guiding us through every step with kindness and professionalism.

Beautiful community in a convenient part of Lincoln. Spacious common area spaces and a litany of fun, invigorating programming available to all residents. Specialized care plans available for all residents. Highly recommended memory care community!

So far so good, I guess I would give it a 4.5/5. Very nice place. You get what you pay for. It is pricey but its very nice and clean, mom likes the food, staff are very friendly. Lots of activities. Some small areas that could be improved, such as communication amongst staff

It's a very classy place. The staff took good care of my dad and were also very caring to me and my sister during an extremely difficult time.
