They take great care of my dad. They worked with us for weeks to get him admitted as he first needed to recover from a serious health emergency. They worked with his prior facility as well. They are very supportive with ongoing care.

It all seems great right now, clean and they are putting up with her. I would recommend them all day to others who are searching for care for their loved ones.

Very nice staff was very helpful ., I was looking for a place for respite car unfortunately we would have to do 30 days, I was looking for 2weeks .

It is a good place. I would recommend it to others. My mother is not happy with most of the food.

My mother lived at the community and I feel like she is getting what we're paying for. The building is always clean when I visit. and the maintenance team is outstanding. Very personable and quick to take care of issues. My mom really enjoys the activities, especially ningo and there is amways something going on. Overall she feels safe and comfortable there and I am satisifed with the apartment and care.

It’s a wonderful community with lots of friendly & helpful residents & staff. My parents really enjoyed the thorough & informative tour.

I visited Somerby this week and was surprised to walk in to a large group of residents socializing in the common area. It felt so full of life which was a huge difference from other communities I've been to. Reception was welcoming and warm. Everyone that I came across gave me a kind greeting. The community was clean and lunch smelled amazing! I am looking forward to returning and learning more.

My goodness, this is a lovely community! From the moment I walked into the building I was warmly welcomed with a smile. A group of residents were gathered talking about the day's events. I left feeling uplifted and glad I visited.

There aren’t enough words to describe how great Somerby at Edgewater is![Names Removed] and the entire staff are so welcoming, kind, understanding, and you can tell they truly care about their residents and their families. My family and I had to figure out living arrangements for my MIL faster than we expected. I called[Name Removed] in a panic and she immediately jumped into action after meeting me once. Within a day we were able to have a spot secured for my MIL. They also have helped her get acclimated and even have her socializing! They are truly the best!

Although my experience has been a short one, I moved my godmother into Somerby a month ago so far I have been very pleased with the staff and their friendliness.[Name Removed] the sales manager goes above and beyond and does more than just her job title. She genuinely cares about the people living there. Also,[Name Removed], who heads up the nursing department has bent over backwards, helping me out with some tough situations with my godmother no matter what time of day or night I call her. I have seen a big change for the better since I moved her into Somerby. I am very encouraged with this new management that have taken over only since October. They seem extremely dedicated and determined to make Somerby a vibrant community!

The staff made the transition easy and provided guidance on how to proceed. We were sold on the smiles from all the workers and the overall appearance. Everyone was very nice and did what they could to assure us everything would be okay. The maintenance staff was attentive to a couple of concerns. My mother has adapted well. The meals are good and I have observed the workers checking on my mother throughout the night. Highly recommend.

So far the experience has been great. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

I took the tour with my father and they made accommodations for him in order for him to get around comfortably. The facility was very nice and my father seemed to really like it and everyone he met. We just wish they had more 1 bedroom units, if so we’d be there now.

Facility is very clean Friendliness and helpfulness of management and staff is wonderful Apartment size is adequate and reasonable. I do wish the bath was connected to bedroom. Amenities are perfect. Location is extremely convenient. Property is well maintained.

Beautiful, clean facility with great food and a caring staff

Mom has been at Somerby for 9 days so far. And our experience has been 5star. The sales director, [name removed] was wonderful to work with from the very beginning and still helpful when I need her. My experience with [name removed], who helped us get situated from the point of sale until move in was also great! Mom seems to be getting good care though there is still confusion or uncertainty about when certain services like bathing, sheet changing will be regularly scheduled and performed. Hopefully that will improve with time. The in-house RN that is serving as my moms's primary care provider (offered through Somerby, but an outside service) has also been great! She likes the food, has been very busy attending activities and enjoys the other residents she has met.

Due to changing circumstances this is the third continuous care retirement community I have lived in and it is the best. I would give it 5 stars. The entire property, inside and out, is well maintained. The choices on food are varied and of high quality. There are plenty of activities for residents participation and the staff is friendly. The nature of the current executive director is largely responsible for the positive vibe and she is not above personally helping dining wait staff when there is a need. I should also mention the facility is well-located, close to medical and grocery outlets. There is an abundance of spacious common areas and the apartment sizes are varied. My wife recently moved into a memory care unit and the staff an activities in that area are of high quality.

I would absolutely give five stars across the board. This was the perfect place for my mother to stay while we were building our home. From day one, everyone was exceptional. The residents were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond in every way. They showed genuine kindness and compassion toward my mom, which meant more to us than we can say. It gave our entire family such peace of mind knowing she was not only being cared for, but truly cared about. I would wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and supportive place for their parent.
