She is in a shared room. So the size is ok for what she needs. The place is always clean and I have a good report with the nurse's that take care of her. They encourage the one's that are able to take their trays of food and turn them in. It's a way better environment than the last place, it is laid out more like a home, instead of a nursing facility. The memory care, which my mom is in, is a stand alone building. All the ladies help each other and do things together.

Personal touch like only your family can provide is how residents are treated here. From the minute I walked in, I felt like I had known the residents and staff my whole life. Orchard ridge is always clean and neat and the residents are cared for like family. The best senior living community in Dalton!

Flexible in making the food needed for healthy living. Good communication from the Director. Feels like a retirement community vs a nursing home setting. Residents all very nice..making friends.

They are lacking on activities. My loved one is in there for memory care. They do a good job of taking care of the patients and they are monitored.

I would want others to know when looking into Gaines Park that they are just the best. They care about the residents so much, with the pandemic they are being very careful but also keeping everybody busy with activities. The staff members are all kind and courteous to the families and residents. We couldn't be happier.

This is a good community. The staff is caring. We like the clean and a good environment for my sister. The menu is appealing and she is pleased with the variety. I like knowing that she does try and participate with the other residents. We would recommend this community for good care and a nice value.

Mom was here for almost 3 years. Our first experience with senior residences, Gaines Park set the bar. The owners, staff, and facility were great. Clean, open, comfortable, Residents really did feel like ir was HOME.

Spring is here at the "Happy" Place"! You can be as busy as you would like to be! Activities galore such as bingo, playing cards, popcorn and a movie. We have a wonderful beauty salon and 5 star dining. Resident Family swim day opens our pool with a cookout and to close the pool for the season we have a great Luau! Oh, there is so much more! I have lived here 4 years and enjoying the easy life. Stop by and see Us!

I visited this community and was very impressed! Caring staff....ready to help if needed. Very clean and happy atmosphere! I would not hesitate for one second to recommend someone to live at this facility!

I am the owner of Gaines Park Senior Living, a 20 year old business. As I read the February 2016 review about Gaines Park, I realize there are those who don't know me or my business and comment with limited information. I suggest to any one who is looking for a place for their loved one to visit several communities and get a feel of the home. The number of privately owned and operated communities is shrinking and we stay full for a reason. Unfortunately the person commenting did not get what they wanted and vented on this website. We've had a good experience with this place, I'd give them 5s across the board. They really do a great job with everything here. The facility itself is always well kept and clean, and the staff are very friendly and caring. I haven't had a chance to try the food myself, but I've heard good things about it.

The place is clean and homey. There were no two bedroom options however. Family-owned and they take great pride in their operation. May employees have been there for many years.

No pets! Great place for someone who needs "watching" friendly and clean. Not enough activities. Not for me.

No pets, they can visit but not stay. Very religious and family owned and operated. Mostly singles here. Very clean and constantly maintained.

The nurse practitioner and her team are really good. The biggest area they can improve is with the cleanliness. Also, they can do a better job making sure things are prepared in the room and everything before a resident moves in.
