My friend and I first walked in with awe--it was clean, residents were bustling around doing things. The residents were so kind, helpful, and if we didn't remember their names, they said it was ok because they don't remember names either. The staff took care of our move-in and any other problems we might have had. It's been a year now and we're still quite happy we chose Lake Shore Senior Living.

The workers and staff, almost everyone I've been in contact with are great. It is real roomy and the view of the garden area and flowers out the back is so nice and they take such good care of our loved ones honestly I recommend them highly and they are appreciated. Peace of mind is what they sell and offer you.

It's always clean. New management has upgraded the food (no more corn dogs and fries for dinner). My favorite part is still the large courtyard where they can walk in complete safety. The only negative is it use to feel like a family but the new owners have made it feel more like a business... But it is getting better. The new owners fired a large percentage of the staff so everyone has had to get used to new people everywhere. The hardest part was the activities person. She was very involved in anything related to holidays, birthdays (they used to give each person a little bundt cake and balloons at lunch on their bday). Now..nothing. They went thru multiple receptionist s for the first few months. That's calmed down now and we have great receptionist s again. Anyway, overall I can't think of a better place.

Pinnacles is a solid 5 stars. Staff is excellent, attentive and caring. Food and dining way above average, and the dining room is great for social interaction. Rooms are generous and bright, and the entire facility is kept very clean. Great activity schedule with regular outside trips.

[name removed], the director, is attentive and caring. His own mother stays there. Mother-in-law is happy there and enjoys socializing. She has no complaints. We had trouble coordinating health care visits (Sutter in home health care is insufficient) and their coordinator organized another service for us which is wonderful (Angel Care) The meals offer a lot of variety, the activities coordinator gives them fun and useful crafts and projects. There are plenty of outings and holiday themed events where family are invited to join. Local musicians, Bible study, and other outside professionals bring fun and variety to the residents.

The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend to others. I toured 10 facilities that were relatively very good, but this facility stood out and was willing to provide a 3 month discount. These ALF's can get expensive.

[name removed] who handled bringing my brother in to Pinnacles has been great. With every aspect of his job and things outside of his job. He is a very kind and special person. The food there is great. All the staff are friendly and helpful. My brothers room is clean and bigger than I expected.

They vouched for their reputation on care. They seem very open to concerns.

Very impressive site. Personnel are very helpful and courteous with everyone involved. Location is very spacious and clean. Excellent customer service and a good service staff on board. Thank goodness for the customer care and support regarding this situation in finding the right place for our family.

care givers were so kind and capable of providing great care for my husband. I had only one issue that was difficult when my husband fell out of bed and Atria would not allow bed rails to prevent that - their answer was for me to pay [amount removed] per week to hire a care giver to watch him all night, every night! Only when he went on hospice did we get a bed that prevented his falling.

I had a pleasant experience during my respite care there for 2 weeks. The accommodations were excellent for the price of my stay, like a hotel. I had my food delivered to my room because I was still recovering from knee surgery. I had a lot of bathroom assistance and bathing. They dutifully applied cold compress via a machine per doctor's instructions. I had a lot of room for my Physical Therapy . I'm glad the critical time of my recovery was at Alvarado-Niles Senior Living.

What a fabulous community! It's less than 2 years old and is immaculate. I am looking for a memory care facility for my mother who is 86. I've been going around to the other facilities and this is by far the best with amazing pricing. My sister is going to schedule a tour and we'll be securing a unit then.

The staff at Villa Toscana is so good and caring. There is plenty of light, a great view of the western hills. My husband seems to feel at home there. I realize the challenges of hiring this kind of staff, but I always leave the facility wishing I had seen at least one more staff person on duty. The wonderful activity director seems to have too many responsibilities.

Have a loved one that resides there. Great staff - very attentive, and caring. The community is clean. They have activities to keep the residents entertained. My loved one enjoys the special music.

They get a 5 for the stage of life my Mom was in, Atria was a very caring place for her. I would definitely recommend Atria to others who are searching for memory care for their loved one.

I like the fact that it's a small community, staff knows every one and most of all the people living there know every one. It's not an overwhelming environment for the seniors and that makes it so nice! Staff is great!

Price and what is available and area, is why we chose them. Good place for friend. Hope it stays the same or better with the new owners at [removed].
