Our family could not have found a better place for our relative to recuperate. Morningside House were our family away from home. They were everything they say they are and more!

Lovely facility with caring personnel. The facility is very clean, warm, contemporary looking and not decadent which is a concern for most of these facilities. The administration is very welcoming. I also appreciate A Place for Mom and their speedy recommendations.

It is a wonderful facility. They are friendly as soon as you walk in the front door. The employees all greet you with a smile. It is bright and cheerful. They are always doing activities with the residents. Their caring and friendly staff make it feel like home

[Name Removed] was very professional, explained in detail the overall process for becoming a resident at Morningside. [Name Removed] didn’t rush through the process and took us on a tour of the building.[Name Removed] interacted with quite a few of the residents calling them by name, which really impressed me. It seems to be a family oriented living facility as everyone was greeting one another with respect to. We were assured if there were any questions about anything we went over or saw, feel free to contact [Name Removed]. We were given her business card and some amazing chocolate chip cookies ?? as we left! We left very assured that our loved one would be taken good care of!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The facility was clean, and the residents seemed engaged and content. The longevity of the staff was a sign to me that they enjoy working there and are good at their work. After seeing another facility that I was sure was the place for my mom, I was impressed because Monrningside House of Friendship felt more like home.

I have to say, it’s really the staff that makes this place special. The facility itself is very nice — don’t get me wrong — but it’s the people who truly make the difference. We’ve been there for two years now, and it just keeps getting better. I visit two times a week, sometimes three, and the nursing staff is incredibly involved. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. I won’t lie — price was an important consideration at first. But it also meant a lot to me that he could have his own room, that everything was clean, and that the staff was so friendly. Another big factor was location. It’s within 20 to 25 minutes of me, and since I’m the one who handles most things, that really matters. The third and final consideration was how they manage medical situations as residents progress through memory care. I had a lot of questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them. In the end, it wasn’t just one thing that made the decision — it was everything together.

From a time I walked through the door until the time I left.All of my questions were answered everything in the place looked very, very well.Taking care of that there was no stile smell.I did not smell old people.

I would rate most areas a 5, with the exception of activities. Unfortunately, my dad was only there for a couple of months before he passed away unexpectedly, so I did not have long-term experience with the facility. My dad was in the lower-level, low-functioning area. There were no activities available in that section, which was understandable given that most residents there were not mobile and had advanced dementia. However, we had discussed possibly moving him to another floor where he might have had more stimulation. I did not observe music or other engagement opportunities in the lower level before he passed. The care he received was very good. My dad was always clean, shaved, dressed, and out of bed sitting by the TV in the lobby area. His room and clothing were consistently clean. The staff members were kind and pleasant to work with, and communication was strong, especially with hospice staff who were frequently present and supportive. The food was okay, though I felt it was better at Heartlands. Overall, the facility itself is nice, and there is a pleasant outdoor area to sit and enjoy during good weather. While the lower level can feel a bit depressing due to the residents’ conditions, I understand there are limitations based on their needs. Overall, I believe he received good care during his time there.

[name removed] took the time to show me around and answer questions. The staff were smiling and many said hello. The residents appeared well cared for and happy. The facility was clean, no bad smells, lots of bright light.

[names removed], were so sensitive to my decision and also very knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease. I did not feel rushed or pressured.

I like that she was included in Christmas Party off-site even though we had not had opportunity to set up her expense account. I also like that she has been included and engages in all activities instead of spending time by herself in room. I also like that severely inflicted are in another area so that clients are not always faced with what is coming.

What impresses me the most about Morningside House of Collegeville is how caring and helpful the staff is. They really care and it shows. We are extremely satisfied with the whole experience.

My tour of the facility was very informative. I was highly impressed with the care and kindness I observed from the staff at all the levels of care. It was clean, bright, and inviting. I was also impressed with how the staff interacted with the residents, and knew them by name. Unfortunately, it was a little further away than what I wanted for my husband.

We moved my mom to Morningside after a truly difficult experience at another facility. When I talk about Morningside, I describe it through what I believe are the three essential Pillars of Excellence in assisted living and memory care: clinical quality, human connection, and family trust. Morningside exemplifies all three. Every — and I mean every — staff member is a consummate professional who genuinely cares for each resident. From the moment my mom arrived, we felt our stress melt away. She was welcomed with kindness, dignity, and competence, and for the first time in a long while, we can simply enjoy our visits instead of worrying. Morningside has earned both my trust and my respect. I would not hesitate to give my highest personal recommendation.

Unfortunately we were not there for much longer than 2 months. However overall, all of the staff were fantastic, very friendly and the level of care received was far better than the surrounding options.

I moved my mom to Morningside to be close to visit. She was in West Chester with her nearby ity was possible to bring her to my house and to visit her daily. She is well cared for at Morningside House.

Love it here. Only had an issue with one nurse good food making lots of friends.
