The Seneca is a perfect fit for us!

After visiting several memory care facilities, we chose The Seneca and never doubted our choice! We looked at a small family-run facility, a well-known one within walking distance of our home (which we had thought would be our first choice), a large multi-level care facility and another facility that was dedicated solely to memory care and claims to set the standard in the industry. We chose The Seneca because we loved the all-inclusive pricing plan, the clean and beautiful facilities and the very kind and friendly staff. My mom has daily activities to keep her active, wonderful loving care, and they allowed us to set up her room exactly as she likes it with familiar furniture, paintings, her vast wardrobe and shoe collection and even her beloved xylophone. Every time we visit, she looks content and well-cared for and is much less agitated than she was at our house. We can now spend our time with her sharing loving moments instead of struggling to tend to her needs.

A safe and caring place for mom

I love how clean the facility is. I love the waitstaff know how my mom takes her food and what she likes and brings it immediately. I love that they find her to give her medicine. I love that they encourage her to go to activities. We looked at a lot of places. We felt like this was the perfect fit for mom.

5 for all of the questions! It was a great decision to move here. It is very friendly. I would tell others looking that I found helpful to eat with residents without staff. Residents will be honest without being overheard. We have many different sizes of apartments. I have a two bedroom two bath apartment. There are one bedroom 1 1/2 bath apartments with a den, 3 bedroom. I think there are at least 9 different configurations. They all have full kitchens.

A great place to live

My mother chose another place to live, but had I made the choice, I would i have gone with the Providence of Fairfax. The building is stunning, the food was excellent and the staff clearly cares about its residents. It was by far the most impressive community we toured and was very welcoming.

Very Happy with Providence...2+ year in

After spending time trying to find a place for my Mother (and now my Father) we chose the Providence of Fairfax. My Mother has been here for 2+ years and still loves it. My Father has now joined her at Providence and has also been very happy. These are the things that they like the most: 1. Great management. Management has jumped through hoops for us when critical care issues arose and we needed solid solutions. I cannot express how happy we were with their skillsets and caring on what were very timely and delicate issues. 2. Excellent staff - from nurses, aids, kitchen staff, etc. all are helpful, caring and well trained. Many staff have been here 3+ years since the building opening. 3. Activities - 5-8 activities a day including: off-site trips, games, professor led discussions, art classes, workout activities, etc. 4. A new facility - great location, larger units, easy parking. 5. On-site restaurant with lots of good food options with long dining hours.

what a nice place.Great Staff

went as a visitor to The Club in Boynton Beach and they had a program to take pictures of Vets in the area. i was so impressed with the great care they took with everyone who came. After the pictures they showed us the back patio where clients were seated for a great BBQ .we were invited to join them which we did. Fantastic food was offered to the clients and us as guests. The grounds were outstanding and the inside of the building was just so clean and no odors of any kind which is tough in this type of place. You can tell they take great pride in their location. If you have someone who needs a place to stay in their later years this could well be the place you are looking for.

Our Experience

They provided very good care services for my loved one, except for communication. I sometimes felt that I didn't know who the contact person was when I had issues or questions concerning my loved one's well being. I think it would be helpful if The Providence could provide a list of contacts for each family so that they know who to call, when needed.

A fantastic experience with everything at The Provience

We were looking for a more suitable place for my mom and we found The Providence. I requested info through their website and got a call back very quickly from the sales coordinator. She was fantastic and we were able to coordinate a tour for the next day. Once I got to The Providence, I met with the Director of Sales. She was really awesome to work with throughout the process. She laid out all of the pricing tiers and gave me a tour. My mother was at [removed]. There is no comparison between these two assisted living facilities. The Providence has sunlight everywhere. The 1st floor has floor to ceiling windows all around, very nice gathering areas and looks like a 5 star hotel. I moved mom into the memory care floor last weekend. I have been impressed with the staff whoa re always looking to engage the residents in activities. The outdoor patio area is beautiful and I am sure is used frequently when the weather is nice. Thank you everyone at the Providence!

Overall, I would definitely recommend The Providence Fairfax to others. The staff is great, for the most part. The night nurses need a bit more training. The facility is not versed in using TriCare for prescriptions. They push using their pharmacy, but that costs more. They just need a little more training. They could improve the variety of activities. The move in process went well. The food, to me, is just ok. But other people like it. The prices for the food for visitors is expensive for what is served. My loved one is really doing quite well there and enjoys living there.

Would recommend. Attentive and caring staff. Excellent communication.

Good caring people. Attentive. Shortages of nursing aides like entire industry. Terrific food. Great access to Executive Director and Head of Nursing Care. Pretty good transportation coordination. Excellent communication from administration to family members. Marketing director helped my mother to quickly make some friends with other residents. I think we made a good choice. Unfortunately my mother was only there for a short while.

Excellent Assisted Living Facility

My father-n-law was forced out of his last ALF, and it was one of the best things that happened to him! We discovered The Club due to its proximity to his previous ALF and wanted to find a place near the same area as he’s use to visiting the local stores and restaurants. We like the convenience of that area! Since day one, everything has gone nice and smooth at the Club! The staff has been kind and helpful, and my father-n-law consistently comments on how happy he is there, how the staff treats him kindly and cares about his well-being and the food is excellent! For New Years they served rib-eye and lobster with wine! He can order food anytime of the day and breakfast all day long! They have special events and dining experiences throughout the year. They also gave him an emergency button to call for help, to have his room cleaned, to have someone help bath him, etc. It gives our family so much peace and happiness knowing our family member is happy and well taken care of!

The Best of the Best

The Providence Fairfax is an extra ordinary retirement community that offers an abundance of unique activities, in an aesthetically exquisite environment where residents are encouraged to be active, social and enjoy their retirement years. The Providence Fairfax has multiple restaurants that can please any pallet. Most of all, this communities leadership with the current Executive Director at the helm demonstrates a genuine compassion and care for all it's members. I'm so grateful that my nearest and dearest friend lives at The Providence Fairfax. Don't overlook this community when searching for a retirement community. It's a true gem!!
