This is because someone cared enough to give us options and was available to help us reach our goals. I would definitely recommend A Place for Mom if anyone is just starting this process without someone to guide them.

The staff is always so friendly and caring, the people who live there are also kind and happy. Lots of activities available and their meals offer great options.

Everyone was very friendly and the facility was clean and accommodating. There were lots of activities going on for the residents and I received some delicious cookies when I left.

I like that it is built on one level, which enables residents to get to know each other better because they are not spread out on multiple floors. It is a smaller, more intimate feeling. I love how the staff knows each resident by name, and their needs. I feel very confident that mom is being taken care of better than I ever could!

The staff is vey kind and considerate. They keep the room clean. Laundry is included once a week, one batch.

Unfortunately my dad did go into the hospital only two weeks after moving into Huntington Terrace and never returned. Between being admitted to the hospital and convalescent care, he was never able to go back and live independently. The staff at HT was so gracious and helpful during that time. Ultimately, my father passed away, and the staff reached out to offer condolences. [name removed] who helped me secure my dad's apartment and [name removed] both offered their condolences and hugs when they heard what happened. I would recommend HT to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

The ladies at the front desk are amazing and very friendly. On the Memory Care side, they are friendly and care about the residents. They have a game day that is great. They have Art and Crafts the residents seem to enjoy. The medicine is closely watched by the Staff to distribute for the people.

I met my contact person who was both friendly and professional. We had a quick snack before walking around the facility. Everyone on the staff as well as the residents were very friendly. It is a well kept establishment with nice rooms and recreational areas. Pricing was quite fair actually and they do offer discounts from time to time. I will definitely consider this place when it comes time to make a choice.

Moving my dad into assisted living was not an easy decision, and the transition was especially tough for him. From the very beginning, the staff has been incredibly supportive, compassionate, and patient throughout the entire process. The care he’s receiving is truly exceptional. Even though he still insists he would rather be anywhere else, I can hear the difference in his voice when we talk. He sounds happier and more at ease than he has in a very long time. That peace of mind means everything to our family. We are so grateful to have found a place that genuinely cares about its residents and supports them and their families every step of the way.

Hello, I would be happy to give you some feedback. Everything is just fine. We absolutely love The Commons at Dallas Ranch. Everyone is SO caring, nice, understanding and just so ready to help. Very clean, and the food is ok. All the caretakers are so attentive. Always willing to help you. No complaints. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. . Thank you so much

I wish I would have gotten my mom here sooner! They were very helpful with questions and help getting us in the right direction. However, with that being said watching a parent die is never a positive experience.

In my limited experience—having only visited Estancia Del Sol—I found it to be a very clean, warm, and inviting facility. My mom spent her first two months in Memory Care, where every aspect of her day was carefully planned and coordinated. She has now been on the assisted living side for only about a week. While I can’t speak for her entirely, from what I’ve observed, she seems to like it—even if she still wants to go home sometimes. The facility itself is top-notch and leaves little room for improvement. Personally, I find it very comfortable. As a child, visiting my great-grandmother in a care home always felt like a hospital, but Estancia Del Sol genuinely feels like a home. Even the Memory Care unit exceeded my expectations. I honestly don’t know any other way to say it: if your mom is fancy, this is the place for her.

The staff was very friendly and greeted us whenever they passed us. Didn’t see many residents, but those we did see seemed happy and friendly. It was a small community that felt cozy and easy to get around.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and even offered advice and ideas I had not thought of. So far I've toured 14 facilities looking for assisted for my parents. I have narrowed it down to three places and Almond Heights is in the top three. Now I just need to make an appointment so I can take mom out for a tour/visit.

The maintenance staff in is superb. Food is rated one of the best by people who have looked elsewhere. Location is great (on the west side of the building. Building is a little run down. They say improvements are on the way. I live on 1st floor, and there is a decidedly unpleasant pet odor in the hallway.

Everyone I have had any contact with has been very friendly and helpful. Always a smile and never any rejections. They knew all the answers to my questions and never left me with any doubt that this is the place I want to keep my wife.

The tenants. They were all so happy, and [name removed] was just amazing. We did end up putting dad in memory care there instead of independent living. The head nurse [name removed] thought he may need more one on one attention with his recent hospital stays. She was right. He is getting stronger every day! The whole staff is just amazing!
