Community exceeds all expectations!
I recently toured Northgate Plaza and had a wonderful experience. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the community itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and full of great amenities. I also had lunch during my visit, and the food was very good. It’s clear they focus on creating a vibrant, comfortable environment for residents. I would highly recommend taking a look if you’re considering senior living options.

Bazaar and Building tour
I recently toured Northgate Plaza in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, and I have to say, it’s a really nice looking building. The design and layout are well done, and it feels welcoming and well-maintained. During the bazaar, the atmosphere was especially vibrant, making the experience even better. It’s clear that the space is thoughtfully utilized for events like this. [name removed] was the tour guide and she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable by sharing interesting details about the building and its features. Overall, a great spot to explore especially with such a well organized tour!

Amazing community with Amazing Staff
MBK Northgate is truly exceptional! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained everything is. The attention to detail in keeping the community spotless is impressive.
The staff here are simply amazing. Especially [name removed] & [name removed]! They are warm, attentive, and go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Whether it's helping with a question, planning fun activities, or just offering a friendly smile, their genuine care shines through in everything they do.
One of the standout features of this community is the variety of floor plans available. There are so many options to choose from, and the spacious two-bedroom layouts are perfect for those who want a little extra room to spread out. The large bedrooms, open living spaces, and thoughtful designs make it feel like home immediately.
If you're looking for a senior living community that offers cleanliness & comfort, this is it!

Positive experience. Great staff lots of activities good food
He's been Northgate Plaza three months so far so good. He is tough but they still keep him. I like the overall feel there and like I say he seems good and engaged. Happy with the food and activities and they honored him as a veteran. The staff seem mature. It has been a really good experience so far.

Wonderful place to live!
The staff are great. They are very helpful and caring. They plan lots of fun activities. And there are always special events around each holiday. But mostly the administration folks are very approachable.
I am very happy here and have met many new friends. I highly recommend this place.

be sure you know what you're paying for the monthly care level they've established for you and what it includes. Initially my loved one was paying an additional [ amount removed] per month for her care level. Nobody ever reviewed it with her and nobody ever showed up to provide the help or services described in the care level. We were told they never attempted to provide the services because they noticed my loved one had a private caregiver with them, Their private caregiver was there to handle the physical demands of moving, setting up, organizing, recycling, dumping etc. which they could not do because of their ill health.
Although nobody at Northgate Plaza ever offered or provided the help/services outlined in her care plan, they would not refund any of the charges. We were told the care levels are reviewed monthly and adjusted accordingly.
I would also warn my friend NOT to have meals brought to your apartment. Lunch delivery to the rooms is $10 (per person/meal) and dinner is $15 (per person/meal).
I would also warn my friend NOT to leave anything valuable in his/her car. My loved ones car was broken into one night and ransacked.

Tour experience
We had an amazing tour with Northgate Plaza. The staff were very welcoming. The facility itself is beautiful. This was a very close second choice for us, it was hard to choose. During the tour, they gave us samples of their food and it was excellent. I would definitely tell others to check this facility out during your search.

We chose NorthGate Plaza mainly because of the location and the overall feeling that we got from the salesperson.
They have a great maintenance staff and a caring nursing staff.

This is a good full service place if your loved one want activities and meals and everything included. The staff here are very friendly and majority of them have been here a long time. My interactions with the staff are good. The tour was good and very welcoming and they gave me all of the information that I needed. There is a target next door and that makes it even better.

It is a wonderful safe place to live in your senior years
This was an excellent choice for my husband and I, we feel very supported here. Anytime we have questions they get the answer to us immediately. The activities are great and are actually doing more and more each day. The meals are good, sometimes it is a hit or miss, but the general rule here is they are good and the service is wonderful. The staff members are just so helpful, we are very happy happy people. This community has met all of her hopes and expectations.

You are the Cadillac version of assisted living
We have heard good things about the meals they are serving from other residents, and the activities do look really good. They have a salon there which is great, but one thing that is a little disappointing is they have yet to find someone to work at the salon. However, we do think the value for cost is really good.

We love Northgate Plaza!
My father has lived at Northgate Plaza for nine years. He has enjoyed the friendly kind staff and his friends, the comfort of a pleasant apartment, and activities such as music, anagrams, and parties. We are very happy with the continual care and support he has received and always feel welcome. We have appreciated the meticulous protocols with Covid-19 and the extra steps staff has taken to reduce the residents' isolation. Northgate Plaza is conveniently located by stores, the library, a park, and a hospital. We highly recommend this warm caring place.
