The staff, especially the Sales Rep, [name removed], was very friendly and helpful during our visit. We knew the facility would be a perfect fit for my brother because of the cleanliness and atmosphere of the facility.

It is so homey and the staff is awesome. The residents seem cared for, and I have no negative comments.

We enjoyed our tour. Everyone there was very friendly. It is a lovely facility, clean, and the apartments are a comfortable size. We would love to live there if our budget would allow.

This was my first choice for assisted living after touring many places. I love the feel of the homes and the grounds are beautiful. [name removed] was very helpful. She put my mind at ease for such an important decision.

My mom went to Home Place after rehab to get her strength back. From the moment she arrived, I knew it was a caring place. She settled in quickly and has become an active resident. The staff watch their health and treat them like family. If they need to see a doctor, family are told! Staff help families with forms and answer questions with a smile. I’m so glad I found Home Place!

We chose this facility for several reasons. Namely, [name removed], sales manager, was great in per swaying us about features such as the transitioning memory care. She promptly responded to my requests and calls and was allowed to view the room several times and to meet move-in requests under special circumstances. The place was beautifully designed, staff longevity, clean smell, as well as convenient for me.

[name removed] was professional, patient, and answered all my questions… Extremely grateful for his service.

Our guide was engaging, sympathetic and an excellent professional in discussing the choices we have.

The management is tops. There have been three major renovations done in the last few months. The food is great. We love our cooks. The activities director keeps us busy and involved. We have been at the Virginian for about a year and a half and still feel we made a great choice.

It was a pleasant tour. The person who gave me the tour, [name removed], was in a very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner to show me around and answered all questions I had asked. I had a very good time to tour the site. Good job!

I have been a resident since it was [community removed]. This community was recently taken over and the new team and management have been exceptional. Independent living feels like independent living again - they are taking the time to move the right residents in unlike [community removed]. Chef [name removed] listens to our meal concerns and delivers quality. Activities and outings are great, and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. So happy to be here.

We are very happy at this point , one month in ... no red flags. But we all know things can occur when you're not there 24/7 . My mom doesn't cry to come home or says she hates it there . She is thriving much more there than with 24 hour nurses care we had here at home.

Caring individuals worked there in both administration and staff. Everyone was nice, easy to work with and cared about my grandmother's well being.

There have been a few hiccups over the last year but overall, I feel they do a very good job. He had to move from the assisted living side in March to the memory care side and they made that transition very simple. It's a bright and cheerful place and unlike some places I've been, it doesn't have any disgusting smells anywhere in the facility. Staff is overall very friendly as well. I have 3 cameras in my Dad's room so I can monitor him at any time live or go back to find out "what happened" and staff treats him with respect. Outstanding place...I highly recommend them.

My mom has been there for a full year and everything has been amazing! The staff is attentive and caring. I feel they see each resident as an individual for who they are and nit just another person or patient. Activities are planned and they keep my mom busy. The food is great and they have planned holiday meals for the families to attend. The facility is always clean and smelling fresh. The studio apartment is the perfect size for my mom and her small dog. Just big enough to feel at home without the worries. As a daughter, I am so thankful for Bellamar Lancaster. The Director [name removed] always has a welcoming smile and available to answer any questions. The rest of the staff is also so kind and inviting. I know my mom is in good hands.

The entire staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping crew, to the dining room have been very friendly and helpful as my mom has settled in. The food is not outstanding, but certainly adequate and it meets my mom's needs. There were various room sizes and we chose the studio as my mom's needs are pretty simple and the less she has to walk around, the better. There are several assisted living groups there to choose from. We chose Care 4 U, which has worked out well so far.

A great big 5 for all categories!! I was very impressed with the management at LakeHouse. From Dawn, the receptionist, on to [name removed] from maintenance & all the others who interacted with [name removed] or myself, I found an outstanding aura of care & concern for his well being. If your survey had a rating of 1-10, I'd give it a 10!!

Great tour. Saw three living units - a studio, a one bedroom and a two bedroom. Clean and spacious. They also showed me the area where a large renovation project will begin soon.

We had a fabulous experience with [name removed] as our tour guide. The facility offers many amenities and was very clean. They designed it well with a lot of natural light, various indoor and outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy along with a range of activities. Residents seemed happy and we felt welcomed by all of those we met.

It’s not home, but it’s the closest thing. I can imagine to being at home for my mom. The sense of community is prevalent. She has made so many friends and the time that she’s been there.The staff is caring and kind, especially [name removed] at the front desk. She greets everyone with a smile and takes good care of the residents needs and requests. The dining staff, especially [name removed] and [name removed] are thoughtful and efficient. [name removed], on the nursing staff , goes over and beyond for each of the residents. My mom stays active thanks to [name removed] and [name removed]. The activity program is second to none. Her housekeeper [name removed] not only cleans for her, but also looks out for her. [name removed], in the maintenance department, has been so helpful . I can’t say enough good about Discovery Village!
