Arcadia Senior Living

So far my experience with them has been very positive. I know my mom likes her new apartment and the care she has been given. This is my first experience with an assisted living facility, but I would give all of the categories a five. Columbia Ridge has not only met my mom's needs, but has been very accommodating to make sure she is comfortable, safe, well fed and feels a part of the community. I couldn't ask for better care for my mother.

Since finding Columbia Ridge for my father, almost a year ago, we couldn’t be happier with his care, and the feeling of family they provide. He was very hesitant at first, but has settled right in and made many friends. I could name a multitude of people from caregivers, to administration, front desk staff, dining, staff, cleaning staff, etc but it would take me all day to name them all. Each and every one of them has touched our lives in a special way. As the daughter of someone in this facility, I really appreciate the activities, attention to detail, special events, and overall care. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that my dad is in good hands. If someone were to ask me, if I would recommend Columbia Ridge, my answer would be absolutely!!

We've been extremely pleased with Arcadia Senior Living, especially with the care. It has been a step up from the previous place my loved one lived, and really addresses all of her needs. The staff is super friendly. All of her medical needs are taken care of without us needing to oversee the process. It's expensive, but we are definitely seeing improvement in her.

Arcadia Senior Living has been working hard to treat every resident with compassion & respect for the individual choices they deserve Keep it up Arcadia !

The care staff is impressive, it is run at a memory care ratio with 3-5 caregivers 24/7, 3 licensed nurses, and 3 person admissions team ! Chef is amazing & apartments look like retirement living vs clinical.

So clean - had a really good feeling to it. Might be a little to far not sure. Thank you.

The staff at Columbia Ridge Assisted Living is very friendly and kind and helpful. The food is excellent and the dining area is always clean and inviting. This was an excellent choice for me.??

I really like the fact that the staff checks on the residents to make sure they're getting their meals and everything that they need. The place is very clean at all times, they do a good job at maintaining it clean as well. They always make sure that the residents are involved in activities and interacting with each other.

Great place, wonderful caring staff. Brand New Place!! I can't say enough good things about them. I moved my parents in to Arcadia in December. I was a little concerned since the facility was brand new, so there wasn't really any reviews or past history to look at. I did look up the owners and they had a good track record. Arcadia has turned out to be wonderful. Clean, modern, new and the staff is really caring. Food is good and a good variety. Since the occupancy is still pretty low, staff is currently filling many roles and they don't seem to mind. I'm impressed with management's ability to keep staff and residents happy when they are in the "filling" process. A great place, I'm excited to see what an amazing place it will be once they have more occupants and can do everything they want to do.

Our first impression was great. As we talked with the Director & toured the facility, we became even more impressed. Every single person we've encountered, be it staff or resident, has been smiling & friendly. All staff personnel seem to take great care in taking care of residents & visitors. We ate lunch a couple times with our mom & the food is great. Mom often says the food is quite good & "they take really good care of me here".

The assisted living facility where dad had been living for 2 years 1/2 years was no longer able to provide the care dad needs. He was in the hospital and we had an immediate need of a place to move him. Home for Mom provided me with the names of several facilities that we should consider. We were able to secure an apartment at Arcadia for dad that is almost identical to his room and activities at the previous facility. Arcadia also provided us with a temporary room to use during the transition from the hospital to the new apartment. The staff was very welcoming and we are impressed with the attention and care they provide dad.

I would say that it was a lovely place for mom to live but that they are woefully unprepared to deal with anyone with dementia who is uncooperative, in denial, and occasionally loud.

I would say as long as your family doesn't need memory care it would be ok. They need better training for handling memory care residents.

My mother has lived at Arcadia for over three years now and more recently my dad and his wife moved into an apartment there as well. We have overall been very happy with the care because everyone is kind and helpful and patient with issues of dementia and other things that required help. At one point a couple of years ago a few things slipped between the cracks, but the leadership sat down with us and listened to our concerns and worked to ameliorate the problems. The first thing they expressed to us how much they, and everyone else, loved my mom. This true care and actually love means more than anything else.

overall I think this is a great community. The staff is very friendly and they answer all my questions and they will keep me updated if I ask. I would recommend this community to others

Overall the staff are very friendly and my Dad's room is nice and kept clean. The main ongoing issues are with medication management and laundry service. My dad does not get his meds at the same time 'morning, noon or night', which is very confusing for him. Sometimes 2 hours late. We've met with the med tech manager several times now and we're told they are sorry, but they have a high turn-over rate, and it's hard to get everyone trained. For the $$ being paid, they should have this down! Also, the laundry is not done per their schedule and even though my dad is told they fold it up for him, it continues to be dumped on his bed and he has to do it. They also have not been changing his bed weekly. Instead, they leave the sheets folded for him to put on. These are all things that the basic rate includes. So definitely needs improvement

I would suggest you keep shopping around. The community is having staffing issues especially with understaffing. The administrator is shotty. I have to ask for an invoice each month and then make sure the correct prices are detailed out.

Service is slow/requests ignored. Tried to schedule meds with little or no success. These are prescribed meds I need for cough, breathing, help to get sleep. At this point in time I've been waiting more than an hour for meds.
