My mother has been here for a couple of years but the last year has been wonderful. The attention to detail and compassion that my mother receives at this facility is so outstanding, I’m able to live my own life outside of caring for my mom. Her nurse [name removed] and her day time nurses aid [name removed] are wonderful. She mentions her l night time aid [name removed] as well. I couldn’t ask for better care.

Loving, compassionate, knowledgeable, clean, affordable and simply a Godsend!! These are just some of the adjectives that come to mind when I think about Paradise West, [names removed] and the entire family /staff. We were SO BLESSED to have had both of our parents (in-laws) stay here. I mean TRULY BLESSED!!! So if you are trying to find someplace special for your loved ones, call them. You will thank me later.

20 plus years ago the brother of my father-in-law was a resident and his life there was enjoyable. He resided in independent living and on his own, was still under watchful eyes. Now, years later, a member of the Friendship Senior Center, I've become with acquainted with [name removed]. His passion for his residents and their care is evident. His presence in the community is also evident as he and the retirement community provide activities that welcome the outside neighborhood. Inside the buildings you will find a very clean and welcoming environment and very friendly, welcoming staff, some of them have been there over 30 years. This alone says something great about the employer and the facility!

They help with access grants for paying for the facility, they were eager to get to know my grandmothers name and always greet her by the door by name. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

I have nothing but glowing things to say! By The River is a small facility in Marlborough Ct. it is run by a very wonderful and caring staff. They keep the facility very clean The meals are family style at a kitchen table and the food is well thought out and nutritious. My mother's doctor actually does house calls there so that is very convenient. The care for the patients goes above and beyond because the staff truly cares for the residents. The staff is always open to communicating with the families. They now have two locations next to each other and both are well run and maintained. The staff does activities with the residents to keep them active and stimulated. My mother was at a previous facility and they rarely worked with her on keeping active and she basically sat in a wheelchair all the time. When she got to By the River they immediately began working with her on her mobility and now she only uses a walker and never uses the wheelchair any more. Can't say enough good things about the facility. Mom's very happy there which really says a lot.

I applied in 2001 knowing that Pilgrim Place was the right one for me to spend the autumn of my years. I have lived here since 2017 and love it. The mission of this retirement community of justice, peace, and care of the earth resonates so much with my own values professionally and personally.

I live here and am so happy. I searched so many different CCRCs in So California and chose this one especially because of the welcome I felt during the lunch meet and greet. I have an outdoor garden and enjoy watching the birds in my backyard. Perfect for me.

My wife and I have loved living at Pilgrim Place since 2012 in a beautiful 1929 Spanish style house. More like a college campus than a retirement community, what makes this place is the people. Think of people who have mentored/inspired you by their creative and caring lives. That is the kind of community you will find at Pilgrim Place.

It's a great place. Very experienced, trustworthy, friendly. The price was the cheapest out of the places that we saw.

We are very happy with Parks’ Place Memory Care as a patient and family. The staff works together and cohesively and there is enough staff for needs. We feel our LO is well cared for. Activities are scheduled from 7:30 am through 7:30 pm! There are several activities leaders all day. The TV is large enough for all to see and plays nature videos with different genres of music during meals. TV is the 7:30 pm activity at night. There is a media room for movies and small group music. The space is lovely and versatile and includes a four season porch which is used for exercises, special events, church, and more. Outdoors has plenty of seating and shaded areas. Lovely. We actually were at a different facility before and our LO has had a marked improvement in the past few weeks. He is more alert and content.

My dad was at Paradise West for a short time, but the care he received was the best we could have hoped for. The owners and staff made us feel welcome, and supported. Every single person there is warm, compassionate, and highly competent to handle physically what the other home could not. They were not only available when we needed them—they were proactive, attentive, and genuinely kind. The environment is a home, not a facility. It was unbelievable to find a place where people care deeply and it shows. We are incredibly grateful for the time my dad spent there and the love and care he received. Thank you to everyone at Paradise West—you made a difficult time easier, and we’ll never forget that. If you're looking for senior care in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Paradise West first. They set the standard for what great care should be.

I like sitting with different people at lunch, thus being able to interact with more of our community, not just few. Being a gay person, it is good to live in a community where I feel welcome and accepted. It is rewarding to live with such a great number of people who are deeply committed to contributing to the betterment of our world.

My experience at Pilgrim Place has been wonderfully good. After 18 years here, I grow more thankful that my husband and I chose Pilgrim Place to spend our senior years. With the right balance of gentle care and needed independence, we have been delightfully surprised at the care that we have received. We have moved from independent living to Assisted living, and been welcomed into the loving kindness of staff and residents.

My uncle was a resident of this facility. My family and I were very pleased with the service. I would refer this Care Home to others looking for great service. His whole attitude and look on life improved. All of his needs were professionally met.

My husband has worked in home health and hospice for over 20 years. He has been to well over 50 facilities in his career. He recommended moving my dad to Suncrest as he said it was so well kept, small and super friendly attentive staff. My dad really loved the staff there and when he was in his final days, the staff reciprocated the love. They were so professional, loving, kind, and went way beyond expectations in their care for a hospice resident. The staff and the residents visited and checked on him extra, made sure he was always comfortable, and were so respectful to our family. They even through him an early birthday party b/c he was so determined to live to see it. We all cried when my dad passed, The staff are truly God's angels.

Mom is in memory care at Fremont Hills. I cannot say enough about the staff and care givers. Everyone is so kind, caring and patient with mom and our family. The thing I like about Fremont Hills is that the staff at Assisted Living also helps out with Memory Care. Memory care residents are taken on outings if they are able. Normally whomever comes to entertain in assisted living also makes their way to memory care. The staff has many activities going on if the resident is able/wants to engage. Everyone is made to feel special and included. I feel mom is safe and well cared for, so happy we chose Fremont Hills!

The best care you can get for a loved one. They treat them like family and their health is number one priority.

We have loved having my husband at Quality Life AFH. This home was clean and well-maintained. I loved the homelike atmosphere. Having my husband in an environment where he could hear conversations and kitchen sounds were very comforting. The love and focus on each resident meeting their specific needs is very reassuring. I highly recommend this home!

The Oak Park Arms Community has everything I need SECURITY: ... I moved from a two-flat where I lived alone for 3 yrs. CLEANLINESS: w/ hse keeping PARKING: AMENITIES CUSTOMER NEEDS FOOD. ...to beauty & everyone is so NICE... Staff & Seniors...OPA is SOoo family like and connected THANK GOD FOR LEADING ME TO THIS GREAT COMMUNITY OF LOVE. Would I recommend Oak Park Arms I've been doing that ever since I came here

At the beginning of my search for a place for my disabled nephew, I called Birch Gardens. I spoke to [name removed] and found her to be knowledgeable of the special needs for families with disabled family members. She answered my questions and assured me that Birch Gardens would be able to handle my family’s needs. Since moving in she has kept me informed of their progress and the ways they accommodate his disability. I am at ease knowing that they care about him and his daily needs.
