I have been very pleased with Crestwood so far as a new home for my mom. When we were going through the process of looking at assisted living options, I found Crestwood's management to be much more responsive and helpful than other facilities. Everyone we have dealt with has been great, answering all of our questions, and making the transition for my mom as smooth as possible. The people at Crestwood seem kind, helpful and genuine. They offer a variety of activities for residents and encourage them to particpate whenever possible.

We put mom on a waitlist in[Date removed] and a suite became available the end of [Date Removed}. The entire “move in” was easy and [Name Removed] was so helpful. EVERYONE was and still is so helpful. This move was very difficult for my mom. After touring different facilities to care for our mom, my sister and I hands down picked StoryPoint. It’s a beautiful place and so clean. My husband told mom it was as if she was living in a resort. All of the staff have had a part in my mom settling in. So very kind. Mom has really taken to Kelly, the receptionist at the front and she cuts up with the main chef [Name Removed]. The facility plans each day with lots of fun activities. Mom is slowly starting to get more involve.

Best facility ever. Moving my mom in, staff is so supportive. We had a chance to try the food which was really good.

Wife has no regrets about being placed there. She says the staff have gone out of their way to make her stay pleasant and said the food is excellent. As a last comment, staff always go to her room any time there is an activity to see if she would like to participate. She is not left to just sit in her room and pass the time.

[name removed] and [name removed], who are on the administrative staff, are genuinely invested in the well being of the residents and are generous with their time and attention. The residents are very welcoming and friendly. The building is clean, fresh, and bright and common areas are a pleasure to spend time in.

I moved my mother to Danbury Mt. Vernon 26 months ago when she could no longer care for herself. [name removed] and the staff are very welcoming and loving to my mother. It is comforting to me to know that she is safe and being cared for. The facility is clean and there are plenty of activities for her to enjoy, I know we made the correct choice when choosing Danbury Mt . Vernon

The professional care team at Danbury have been wonderful to work with to help our parents make the move from their own home and transition into assisted living. Their kindness and caring support is like an extended family. All the staff are so committed to providing high quality personal support and are so attentive, providing a good, happy and healthy environment. We highly recommend Danbury.

Danbury Mt. Vernon is my first choice for my wife. The facility is beautifully designed and decorated. The dining room is bright and cheery. The Chef, [Name Removed] plans and prepares delicious and healthy meals. Life Enrichment Director,[Name Removed] plans and oversees activities, scenic drives, shopping trips, and special events for families to enjoy time with their loved one. The smiles on the resident and Danbury staff is infectious. The social interaction and friendships between the residents and Danbury Staff is just outstanding! I enjoy the comfort knowing my loved one is being cared for with loving hands and loving hearts. Danbury Mt. Vernon is my First Choice.

I felt this was the right solution for me after taking a tour. It was clean, bright with an energy among staff and residents. I liked the apartment for an independent lifestyle, with options to meet my future needs. The staff has been warm and welcoming. I am happy I made the decision to join StoryPoint.

The staff is very caring and loving. They get my Dad involved in activities. My Dad no longer eats meals by himself out of a styrofoam container. He goes to a dining room with everyone else. He is Catholic and every Thursday he receives communion and says the rosary with other Catholic residents. He finally is being helped getting bathed 3 times a week. At the last place my dad was at, they were supposed to help him bath and never did. My dad didn't have a shower for months. The facility is secure, which was a must for my dad since he has dementia. You cannot get in or out of the wing he is in without an employee letting you in. They celebrate every holiday where the dementia residents get to get out of the wing they are in and it is actually fun! Every Friday they have happy hour which is another fun activity. They play bingo, which my Dad loves! I would highly recommend Independence Village of Carmel to everyone. It's like one big family with the staff and residents. The residents even care about each other, which touches my heart. Dementia is hard and seeing how the staff gets everyone involved in activities is pretty amazing.

Grandma lives in the independent living villas. We recently used the clubhouse and couldn’t be happier with the staff, villa and other spaces they offer. Would highly recommend if looking for a community for yourself and/or loved ones.

Staff was extremely helpful even during her final days there. They treat the tenants as family. Always helping with anything at any time. So unlike many service providers no days.

My Mother in law is a resident at Danbury in Mount Vernon Ohio. We truly appreciate that she is well cared for by Heidi and her staff from the physical aspect as well as the social,,, keeping her involved in the many activities they have planned. Seeing the smiles with her interactions with the staff and other residents is a blessing. She is not only cared for but loved. Thank you Danbury for all you do for our Mom and your entire community.

I visited the community to meet my friend and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and home-like environment .The staff was very friendly and kind.

My mother has been living at Independence Village in Plymouth for almost two years. She absolutely has loved her independent living in a cozy apartment and all of the amenities within IV. [Name Removed], the Executive Director of IV has been instrumental to our family from day one. [Name removed] showed true compassion for the well being of our mom and recently when our Mom was hospitalized[Name Removed] has helped facilitate changes that need to now be made for our Mom's care. Our family can highly recommend IV and especially the level of treatment that [Name Removed] provides families.

We were not there long. The food was very nice. My MIL was placed under hospice care shortly after. During the hospice time... before and after ... the staff were all very caring and kept us updated as to what was being done and what was happening

I would rate Independence Village 5 stars!! Staff is friendly & helpful, even if it's not their dept. My apartment is a large 2 bed, 2 bath & is beautiful. Very clean & fresh. Very happy here.

My mom has been there for going on three years there. The staff is very attentive and courteous. It appears that the residents care about each other and form friendships easily. The facility has many activities for the residents. I cannot say enough about the staff. They genuinely care for the residents. I had no concerns with mom mom there.

Jason was an excellent tour guide and administrator with a wealth of knowledge. He was very professional and resourceful. Excellent tour, beautiful property, and amenities!.

It’s the best place for me to be! Wonderful staff and and food is out of this world! The residents are also very pleasant with as well. Lots of different events happing daily. The staff are always super friendly and always willing to stop and chat.
