[name removed]my Sister, is living at StoryPoint in Findlay. Her girls moved [name removed] in on [date removed] weekend. She's doing very well. Eating nutritional meals and beginning to join in on a few activities. We, [names removed] and myself, are all very relieved that [name removed] is in such a nice and safe environment.
'A Place for Mom' was SO helpful getting in touch with numerous facilities. StoryPoint was chosen for several reasons. Quality of facility, Many options as far as activities along with wonderful meal plans plus, both her Daughters along with Grandchildren are 4/5 minutes away.
'A Place For Mom' definitely took a lot of the stress away in what can be a very stressful time. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us with this transition!

A Family’s Experience at [community name removed] / Story Point: What We Wish We Had Known
I am sharing this to caution other families.
When my parents first moved into [community name removed], they were very happy. They enjoyed their apartment, the food, and the caring staff, and felt they had found a great place to live.
After management changed to Story Point, our experience shifted significantly. Staff turnover increased, food quality and quantity declined, and residents with lifetime contracts were later asked to sign new agreements with about a 30% increase, creating a major financial burden.
While independent living went well, concerns arose when my mother moved to memory care. While we understood and expected changes related to her health, we believe she was overmedicated for ease of management rather than receiving individualized care. Over the course of just a few months, her memory declined rapidly, she lost significant weight, and her overall health deteriorated much faster than we expected.
We are sharing this to caution other families. Ask detailed questions before.

Great Building, Terrible service and morals
*** WARNING**** My Grandparents signed a "Lifetime Contract" with Provision. They loved the space, the people, the food, and care my grandma was receiving in memory care. Now a year later, Story Point is gutting their services to save a penny. The friendly service is gone and the food is terrible with smaller servings (On BBQ rib day the residents were served 1 pork rib). The worst part is, Story Point demanding a new contract which is $[removed] extra per month on his already stretched income. So much for "Lifetime Contract"... My Grandpa and several other residents are being high pressured into signing new contracts or leave, knowing some of them have no other options. Needless to say, we are now in the process of moving my grandpa to another location to escape this place. The facility looks welcoming, but don't believe the fake smiles and old reviews!

StoryPoint Findlay
Story Point has presented new contracts to several of the villa residents. These contracts take away food
plans and housekeeping, amounting to several hundred of dollars. Several of these residents are being forced to move because of the increase. I can not recommend this facility to seniors.

Fantastic
Our experience has been so good sine moving our grandmother into the memory care unit. The staff has been wonderful and the transition has been seamless. It’s been really good for our family and so very thankful for this community.

Stunning Community

Wonderful community
We recently moved my mom into the memory care area in Findlay. We have received nothing but the best of care since being here we love that my mom is still able to go on outings for ice cream as well as do social events outside of the memory care. It gives her so much joy as she used to love cruises and ice cream. So very thankful for this community and staff.

Amazing engagement
We had the opportunity to attend their family night with my sister who resides there and the assisted living. It’s so great to see a community come together fully and provide for the residence who lived there. Food was absolutely amazing and the entertainment was good as well.

Grandma lives in the independent living villas. We recently used the clubhouse and couldn’t be happier with the staff, villa and other spaces they offer. Would highly recommend if looking for a community for yourself and/or loved ones.

StoryPoint Findlay
It's VERY expensive, but they do offer a lot for the price tag. Mom lives in the condos surrounding the assisted-living building, but she still has access to all of the meals and activities that the main house offers. She seems to be pleased with everything. In my limited interactions, the staff have been very friendly as well.

Recently we attended on of their family night events. This was huge for our family when looking for a community for our mother. Family dinner was always something very important to us and when we learned that Story Point Findlay does this every single month, we knew this was the place. The food is always amazing, very well organized and always some type of fun entertainment. It helps that the staff makes us feel like we are family and we love that all management is involved in their events. Can’t wait until next month.

Love our grandparents home
Very impressed with this community. Very glad my parents choose this place for my grandparents. Staff is great and so many great amenities. So far we have no complaints so far also really enjoy all the extras they do for their residents.

We are currently looking for a place my father. As we walked in, we couldn’t believe how beautiful the building is we were greeted by the nicest staff. The sales person was unavailable. However, the director took us on a tour and he was able to answer all of our questions. The chef sent us home a delicious meal for our father. I am happy to say that we will be moving our father into his forever home.

Hands down best family night events
This past week, my family and I visited Story Point Finley for their monthly family event with my mother. I have to say hands-down this is the best community when it comes to events. Very well, organized, amazing food, and everyone that walked through the door was treated like family. I cannot say more about their family nights at this community.
