I am concerned about employee satisfaction though as we see a lot of turnover. The caregiver & dining room service. Overall happy

Food is generally good but rather repetitive menu. Staff and residents are quite friendly for the most part. Activities are of limited intellectual character , ie bingo and the like. Biggest problem adjusting is early dinner time. If not in dining area well before 6 pm choices are limited and dinner is over by 6:30 and restaurant closes.

Our overall experience has been great. There was a short term Learning curve/adjustment period for both my mom and the staff, but since then everything has been fine. The room size in the LG section is a bit smaller than we would have hoped, but it serves well enough. The staff are attentive and engaging, room is always clean, the activity level is good for an LG resident I feel, and my mom appears to be much more engaged as well compared to her previous living arrangement.

The facility is great. My sister was not allowed to move in until she provided a form from a doctor saying she could live independently in the Assisted Living section. A doctor did sign it, my sister's primary, and she moved in. I wish the Director/Sales Person would have encouraged the MCU from the beginning. After 3 weeks she was taken by ambulance to ER for severe dehydration. Fortunately I was with her when it happened. [Names Removed] was in the hospital for 7 days getting re-hydrated. I think they ran a plethora of tests to make sure nothing was wrong internally. It was very evident while she was hospitalized that she was incapable of living independently, even with assistance. Fortunately, Atria Hacienda accommodated Kathy's move and as far as she knows she just switched apartments. Again, nobody was checking[Name Removed] fluid or food intake. They told me they knock on her door to ask if she wants to attend any activities. [Name Removed] is not cognizant enough to read anything and make decisions. Someone needs to go over the activities with her and ask her if she would like to go. I've been trying to track down activities calendars for the MCU. I was told now they are currently looking for a new Activities Director. I would like if there were more one-on-one time with the residents. Also, why can't some of the activities be held on the second floor? I believe more residents would participate if they were encouraged to do so. It would be better if there were more advanced medical personnel on the Second Floor MCU. And perhaps someone who just visits with residents would be nice.

Memory Care: The hands on staff have all been attentive and caring, excellent. Current activity staff are very engaging. Definitely try to get every resident to attend the activities, go to their rooms to encourage participation. Food Dinner food is brought to the units' heated prep stations from the main kitchen 1 1/2 to 2 hours before dinner is actually served to the residents.

She likes the food and really likes the staff. Her apartment is very nice. I would recommend to others.

Overall, it's been a great experience! The staff is so nice and the executive manager has been really great to address issues promptly. The reason I chose it for both my mom and my mil is because of the apartment size, amenities, food and activities. My only issue I've had is that the maintenance is slow to respond as they were without a maintenance man for a while. I've noticed some turn over in staff that has alarmed me. If they order food to their room, it takes forever and is cold by the time they receive it. They seem to run out very quickly on some food items. So if you don't get to meal times early, several things might not be available. Overall, it's been a great experience though. I have really enjoyed working with Atria and feel confident in my decision to choose them.

Yes it's a very nice place people are very friendly, the dining experience is very good, plenty of activities. It's clean and I would absolutely recommend Atria Cranford to others.

Most of staff is well trained but it seems the communication at times between management and associates is not good.

For the most part, it has been great. Most of the staff is great. Only exceptions have been a couple of the caregivers my mom has had issues with. Maybe 2 out of the 10 or so caregivers she has had. The only other issue has been the communication to the caregivers about the care she is supposed to receive. An example is she wasn't getting help showering when it is clearly stated in her care instructions. She had to ask multiple times. I think it has been resolved now. Just seems some of the caregivers are a little slow getting up to speed. Other than that, everything is great. Food is good, dining staff is super accommodating.

The staff is extremely responsive to any concerns that I have regarding my mom. When I visit, they are very kind and seem to love what they do. Great activities for the residents. The only thing I hear around the halls is that quite a few residents aren't all that impressed with the food. I do wish my mom could take better advantage of the outings they take with the residents. I don't know if they advertise that all that well. I do think Atria should have some sort of shaparone for new residents, like residents that volunteer, to help new residents acclimate to their new living situation. My mom did struggle a bit with the every day things that go on.

It seemed very nice and the people were friendly. We had lunch and the food and residents were kind and food was good. We thought the rooms a little small for our needs right now. [name removed] was an excellent representative for Atria. Thanks for letting us tour and we shall keep you in our future plans.

I would say the only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars would be because after only 5 months there they raised the prices by 10.6%. However after my father in law talked with them they agreed to a 6% raise. That's better but I think holding off on raising the price for at least a year would be ideal. Everything else is good.

The experience was awesome until we went to tour the villa. They need to upgrade the villas to include stainless steel appliances and much better countertops. Also new tile in the kitchen. They were very dated and aged. The residents were extremely welcoming.

The facility is beautiful and staff are responsive and caring. My mom enjoys the activities, comfort of her apartment and the kindness of the staff.

Staff is great friendly has things for the folks to do if they want too. When it comes to medicine they won't do anything without a doctor's note even if it appears to be common sense. This so minor but you asked. Mom loves it there.

It is much nicer than her previous place for instance the food is a big improvement and so is the care. The gal who manages is very involved and interested in feedback. She has been a big help to me. They have assigned seating for meals so they get to know others quickly. I find Mom at 98 is not as interested in activities but she does join bingo often. The apartments are fine and the rooms and the entire building is carpeted. That is helpful for fall risks.

They have caring staff who make a positive environment. Dad likes the food - appreciates the cleaning and staff reminders about meal times and events. He loves the on-site performances. Apartment perfect size for him

Faculty and staff are very nice and competent. Would have been nice if admin would have been more involved in move-in day. Apartments are small but functional. I can't think of any amenities they don't have! In apartment there's no dishwasher or disposal.

I was very impressed with my tour. The information was very informative. The food was delicious. There are many very interesting activities taking place. The residents were very friendly, and welcoming, as was the staff.The apartments were very nice , little smaller than expected. Overall, I did feel very comfortable there. Who knows what will happen!! I may return.
