Each resident is also assigned a care partner to establish trust and familiarity. Two primary dementia programs are used at Brookdale Portage Memory Care. The Clare Bridge Program, an exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago, is used regularly and continually evolves through research. The goal of this program is to provide residents with six structured activities each day. These activities may include brain stimulating activities or physical activities, which are designed to help residents maintain their current skills and abilities. The Solace Program provides an additional layer of support, and is tailored to help residents in the late stages of dementia. This program provides residents with grooming assistance, as well as aromatherapy, and musical activities.</p>

<p>Get involved in the community walking group, interactive dance classes, or try the B-Fit fitness program.
