It is a very nice place and would recommend it to others. They set up lots of different activities for the residents.

The overall experience, the cleanliness of the community have been good. The friendliness of the staff members are excellent. The activities that are offered and the value for cost has also been good. Based on the experience so far, we would recommend Novel Place Blue Springs to other families!

Anthology is a newer facility, beautiful inside and out. The shared spaces are well planned and generous. The apartments are nice with adequate space, some with balconies overlooking a fabulous courtyard. Staffing is sometimes an issue, and that ebbs and flows. Their Activities Director is clearly very invested in delivering a great experience for the residents. High quality and plentiful activities are Anthology's strongest attribute, making it easy for residents to be engaged, stimulated, and to meet others. The location is ideal, immediately adjacent to Blue Ash's Summit Park and good restaurants. Being somewhat new, there are still some kinks to work out, but I would recommend Anthology when comparing it to many of its peers.

I would recommend. You have the park outside with all of their activities. Restaurants within walking distance. The facility is trying very hard. They have the same issues as others with retaining good staff. They have monthly meeting to get input from their residents. My loved one chose this community, and because of the location, facility, and they offered Memory Care and Assisted Living.

Being a resident at Novel was like going on vacation. We had meals that was prepared for us by the best cooks. Our place was always clean and the staff was so polite. I can t say enough good things about them. Wonderful ! You can join in numerous activities or go on a day trip to different places in the city. I particularly enjoyed lunch out with the group. Personally I felt really safe living there. It is so close to everything. Grocery store , banks. Novel Place is a great place to live your next adventure.

Meals for independent residents is too bland, to soft, not appetizing. How many ways can you make hamburger? Ask the chef.

We toured with Novel Place and i liked this facility. The reason we did not choose them was because the location was just not the best fit for my loved one. It is in too busy of an area.

We picked this community because it was the staff, and the overall feel of the place. They offer activities, such as;-outside activities, fitness, and movies. They do well with the intraction and getting to know my loved. They can improve communication. Overall, I would recommend it to other families.

My loved one was there a short period of time. They were all very nice, but were often short staffed. They were all very helpful. The value for the money was average.

Beautiful - residents are friendly. Was designed to be beautiful - but NOT functional. Rooms for card games etc. way too small for full capacity. Lounges are too small for gatherings - but beautiful sitting area around fireplace - beautiful - but too small. Fireplace in courtyard - beautiful but not not enough seating - etc., etc. Seating in TV room - too small and chairs uncomfortable. Kitchen is in constant turmoil. Head chef has an ego that turns off any assistant chefs or help. Only recently has there been improvement with serving staff and that's because they moved [name removed] from the front desk to supervisor position for kitchen servers. She's a keeper!! Any written communication to director - never a response nor acknowledgement. Even with everything said - the residents make this a 4-star!

Atmosphere is very pleasant, maintenance is excellent. Those who have not previously lived in apartment style settings need to be mindful of their neighbors.

Would prefer dinner to begin at 5PM. Some meals are tasteless. Menu sounds great but prep is lacking.

The facility is clean and staff is nice. They do provide housekeeping every other week and do a good job. Mom sometimes comments that the food is plain, but other than that no complaints.

I toured Novel Place Blue Spring, and at the time we thought the added care would be better at the community we chose. The deciding factor between the two was the call pendant that the other community provided; whereas Novel did not.

The staff has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and willing to work with us. We had to pay for some of my loved one's expenses because her Social Security wasn't available until the middle of the month, so they've worked with us getting that taken care of with our credit card instead of hers. Anytime we've reached out to them or asked for clarification, they've been quick to respond. Everyone is just so friendly. My loved one is very happy with the quality of the food. It's fresh and tastes like restaurant quality. We just wish they offered three meals a day instead of two - a continental breakfast and dinner. The units themselves are very nice and essentially brand new. Hers has a very nice full kitchen, which is great for people who are self sufficient. And in her case, it has given her more drive to be a little more active and go outside of her comfort zone because she's cooking her lunches for herself and therefore standing and walking around more than she would otherwise. She's so happy there, and the cost with the promotion they were running was an incredible deal.

I think the staff is friendly, but I also think that there is difficulty in keeping consistency with the staff. There has been some turnover. There are a few on staff that have been terrific, and there are a few that maybe aren't permanent. And it seems like there's not good communication between leadership and them about what their responsibilities are. The living spaces are nice and large, and the housekeeping staff is excellent. Cleanliness of the common areas is great as well. My loved one is not as happy with the food as she was at a previous place that she lived. Her main complaint is the vegetables are overcooked and mushy. She would also like to see more green salads and more variety in general.
