[name removed] is adjusting. He's used to me being there for him everyday so I've limited my visits so he can get use to their routine. The personnel at the Summit have been wonderful. [name removed] might not agree but I believe it's because he has to get use to a new routine which I believe is a good thing.

Building less than 2 years old, is attractive and well maintained. Apartments - good layout and choice - studio to 2 bedroom. Beautiful bathroom, washer/dryer closet area. Staff - friendly and helpful and pitch in to help one another when needed. Van rides for medical and dental appointments and outings. Driven attentive and good. Activities - activity director is very imaginative - almost every hour on week days something is happening. Exercise every day in various forms. Food is good to very good. Cook seems to please. Library is pleasant with a book club.

Wonderful place. Well managed. Food is almost all great. Help is friendly. I previously stayed at [facility name removed]. They had 3 meals every day, but menu was undesirable. Rent was much higher and management was a joke! Here I have a studio and rent is $[removed] less. Go Novel Place. Post office says our address is [removed], Novel's front window says it is [removed]. Please consider changing front window.

it was a brand new facility, and was very impressive. The pricing was expensive, and it was not affordable for my loved one. Overall, it was a great facility.

We chose Azpira Place because it was a newer, brighter facility. It just had a better feel when we walked in, it did not feel institutional. It felt more like a hotel rather than a nursing home. The room sizes here are generous. I ate with my mom several time and the food was great, they are chef prepared meals. Overall, we would highly recommend it.

T\his facility has been a terrific choice for my mother. It has met and exceeded expectations. The staff is very detail oriented. They are friendly and caring. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The care assistants are friendly, courteous and efficient. My mother has made many friends among the residents and her days are generally active. My brothers and I are very pleased with how well our mother has adjusted to the change in residence and seems to have taken to her new routines in a very positive way. The food is generally very good. And the dining experience is well thought out and executed. My mother has a general complaint about the pace of the dining room - too slow. I have not experienced that when I have eaten with her. I believe the problem is that many residents want to eat at the same time and that would slow the kitchen. Also patience in this age group is not in great supply. At times the care staff has been delayed in responding to requests for assistance but I believe that overall they are attentive. My mother seems quite happy residing in this facility, with its residents and staff.

I really can't of anything they can improve. They seem to be doing their best to ensure my mother is comfortable. They do offer exercise classes in the memory care section and she can attend them when she wants to. The meals are okay but I'm not sure they offer an alternative menu or explained to her she can order off of it. I think the people are really nice.

My friends move into Brookdale Lakewood turned out to be a very good thing. The people there are very nice and he seems to be very happy. It is comfortable and clean, so far it has been a good experience.

Mom speaks highly of the staff and they seem friendly. They encourage her to participate in the daily activities. She enjoys the food. The community is clean and well maintained. I would recommend Brookdale.

Moving my Grandmother into Brookdale Lakewood was a great decision for not only myself but for her as well. Mentally, she was ready for the transition which made t easier seeing as how she is 96 and set in her ways. Being there she's made some friends and participates in Bingo which she really enjoys and has even gained some weight since being there. She complains about the figure but i figure that's what old people do and seeing as how she is gaining weight the food can't be that bad. It has definitely given me a peace of mind knowing that she is safe although there is an issue that has concerned me. We are paying to have someone assist her in dressing but as I said she is set in her ways and if someone is not there when she wakes up she'll do it herself. We are still trying to figure out how to get this problem solved. All in all a great experience.

Facilities are very good, about 90% of the staff are great, food is okay, activities are good. Very fair regarding billing. I struggled most with getting the meds situated, my mom took a lot of meds, and I felt like they kept changing the schedule for her meds. I finally figured out who to talk with to get things straightened out. They don't have enough staff if the resident needs lots of care.

The management at Galloway is superb. [name removed]was very helpful and accommodating when my surgery date got changed 48 hours before I was to arrive. My room was the perfect size for me post surgery, big enough to allow some movement, but not overwhelming with my limited mobility. The residents that I met were friendly for the most part. I occasionally sat in someone’s “seat” in the dining room but other than that it was all good. The food, for the most part was great. You always had several options at every meal. My only complaint is the entree on my final night didn’t turn out to be to my liking. When I asked for dessert I was told that unless I ate my dinner I couldn’t have ice cream. After sitting for a few minutes and realizing he was serious I went upstairs. My only other suggestion is that the refrigerators in the room be bigger. Perhaps because I was there for a short time I was given what was available, long term I would have wanted a bigger refrigerator.

What they could improve on would be the response time to family members who are the advocates for the resident

What I like the most about Novel Place is the friendliest and open bright front and dining area. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families as long as they understand that there is no generator in case of a loss of electricity. Really an oversight by management.

The place is very clean and bright. The CNAs are super kind, they seem like they really care about my dad and the residents. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait though when you buzz for someone, but that's to be expected I guess. My dad really likes the food and the meals they have. He doesn't do any of the activities but I wish he would.

I'd recommend the community as long as they were not a picky eater. The food was not that good. But the place was gorgeous and the staff was so kind. We picked this community because the cost was the deciding factor.

People should ask or know about the difference in care levels. This facility is mostly for those with high amounts of independence. Once my father worsened, there was limited floor space in the "extra care" wing. This was a cause for concern. Ultimately, it worked out, but needs for loved ones can change drastically and suddenly.

The staff is good they know your name right away they make you feel at home. The rooms are nice and clean. Got a full kitchen to where I want to cook my own food. I can do that thank you. Even the resident know my name when I first got there I felt like I was just part of the family

They offer a good variety of activities. Very pleased. They now also have various church services as well. I would recommend the facility. Nice community with very caring and friendly staff.
