The facility has been remodeled and is very inviting. Cleanliness is excellent. My brother has enjoyed the food and living there. Even though he is much better and going back to his own private residence, he would be very willing to come back and live at Westerwood should he become unable to care for himself again at some point in the future. My only complaint - they need to have one more night aide working on his floor. Even though they have a low turnover rate, it is hard for many facilities to hire enough aides. Meals, housekeeping, transportation, and a wonderful array of social opportunities await you.<br> <br> Our Ridgewood Assisted Living residents enjoy these same freedoms with 24-hour assistance with daily living as needed. Bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders are provided by a staff of caring, trained professionals. Breakfast is served to each resident in the comfort of his or her own apartment. Two other delicious meals are served daily in our dining room. Activities are scheduled every day so there are plenty of opportunities to socialize.<br> <br> Ridgewood Terrace, our memory care center, provides a secure, home-like setting and specialized care for residents experiencing early to mid stages of Alzheimer's or dementia. Our professionally trained staff is available 24 hours a day to work with residents to ensure they live at their highest level of independence.<br> <br> Our Health Care Center, certified for Medicare and Medicaid, provides short-term rehabilitation, intermediate and skilled nursing care to residents. Friendship Village residents have priority access to the Health Care Center should the need arise. We are one of the few communities in Central Ohio featuring VitalStim Therapy, a highly specialized treatment to aid in recovering swallowing functions.
