Easy 5 for all! Love the place. Very nice people, great food and Bruce, the activity director has awesome games and get together for special occasions!! My mom and I LOVE them!! We would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Very Impressive Facility
This was my second tour and the first for my partner. She was very impressed with the rooms we visited, the activities available, the landscaping and the overall cleanliness. We also had a very helpful, informative discussion with a resident, The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We are not ready to make a move yet, just investigating.

Friendly Retirement Community
Our overall experience has been wonderful. The majority of the time the food has been wonderful. The staff here is friendly, and most of them have been very efficient. The cleanliness of the place is pretty good. The big drawback for me is the laundry. We are not allowed to use it from 8 am to 4 pm, as it is reserved for housekeeping. Also the machines do not work well. That is really only my complaint.

Vista Del Rio is absolutely beautiful, the staff are extremely helpful and kind. It's like one big happy family!
We currently live in a two bedroom and it has tons of room. Bathrooms are oversized and very easy to move around. We have a beautiful view of the swimming pool and lots of grass for the dogs to run around. I encourage anyone looking for independent living to check VistaDelRio out.

Everyone there were nice and friendly and helpful. The rent was lower for my brother in law which helped him money wise. If I knew someone who was looking to move to that place I would recommend it.

One you should know about Vista Del Rio is that it is not an actual independent living facility. There quite a few who need assistant living and some who need memory care. Several NA caregivers are busy all day providing care to a few residents. There aren't enough activities for those who are independent and none specifically go or those who have memory deficits. A new event coordinator is trying to add more activities for the independent residents.

Not for the young at heart
I was told this was INDEPENDENT wrong!!! . Maybe 5 other people besides myself can walk. There are people drooling, being helped to eat, bathe, take pills. very little activity, and what there is, is not for INDEPENDENT seniors. No exercise classes like the brochure says. Nothing here is what the brochure says or what I was told.

I would also say that they are fair priced for all that it includes. The rooms are a little small, but that's ok. One person doesn't need much space especially when they encourage residents to socialize and not isolate in the apartment. I would say the community is well kept, the staff are very friendly and keeps me informed on resident updates, they are flexible with working with families to accommodate needs.

Mom liked the people we met but she is not fond of the food and it takes a long time to get things in her apartment fixed. Keep looking and ask lots of questions regarding maintenance and menu. The people are very nice but I'm not sure I would recommend them, due to the untimely maintenance and the food.

Wonderful Accommodations
I think with this job market, the staff is not that good. The food is served cold. This is not just here, but at other places as well.
They have very unique cottages here, not found at too many places. My loved one absolutely loves the accommodations.

Great Place for A Loved One
This is a great place for your loved one to stay. The staff is wonderful. My friend is on a fixed budget and it is working out great for my friend. The medical is as needed, it is independent living; however, they have great rates for the medical care if your loved one needs it. True Story: Our friend was nervous about looking at communities, and my friend knew that this is the place they wanted to live within the first 5 minutes.
The staff truly cares about the residents. They go above and beyond in caring for the residents.
There are three meals a day, and the residents have choices to choose from. There are also snacks available during activities.
