The hospital gave me a list of potential assisted living/memory care homes, and I toured them all before picking the Seville. I’m a lifelong lawyer, which makes me a professional skeptic. But guess what: I couldn’t have made a better choice. This truly is a happy place. The caregivers really do care. They don’t let anyone just sit in their rooms. They get the residents up and involved. Yesterday, my memory care sister helped hang ornaments on their Christmas tree. She has been here 6 nights, and I have been here every step of the way. Today she made it clear she would prefer to be on her own out in the common areas with the other residents. She didn’t exactly tell me to get lost, but it was about that gentle. HOW GREAT IS THAT!? Bring your loved one here. It will be ok. Did I mention this place is brand new?
