Home away from home
I have lived at Cogir The Loft for over 4 years, it is an independent senior facility.
If you are looking for a new home, consider The Loft. There are many activities from daily games to long trips. Or, just sit by the fire and read a good book.
Residents are friendly and the staff is the best.

It feels very much like a home setting
I’m so happy I moved to The Lofts by Cogir! I lived at another senior community before, and the difference is incredible. The moment you walk through the door, The Lofts truly feels like home. The residents are always around, friendly, and welcoming—it’s such a warm, comfortable environment. I’m grateful to have found this place!

This is more than survival
Great staff and supportive atmosphere, along with good food make the Lofts a great place to live. There are many activities to choose from or if you prefer the opportunity to be more private it certainly possible. There are always trips that are suggested by residents that to take advantage of if you wish. All of this for a reasonable price.

Great communication!
My mother is a resident of The Lofts and I am continually impressed with their communication with me. Whenever the manager or housekeeping staff see anything out of the ordinary they are quick to communicate with me.
Mom recently had an unexpected overnight stay at the hospital and the manager made sure that her cat was fed and taken care of until her return.
I feel confident that mom is safe, secure and looked after in her independent living community.

Facilities are nice. Everything works in my apartment very well. Staff is always on top of things. Food is mediocre. I prefer to cook for myself. Activities are varied and suit a wide variety of interests.

The times I've eaten here the food and selections are quite good. I usually shop for and cook for myself. I don't pay attention to the activities they offer. There is a pool and a gym, and a theater.- it's a beautiful place. With the cost of living rising as it is, it all feels apropos at those juncture.

Great place to call home!
My mom has been living at The Lofts by Cogir for three years and is really thriving there! There are many activities, events and outings that keep tenants socializing and interested in day to day fun. I just received a text from my mom this morning that she is taking a drumming class in addition to an exercise class. The staff is top notch and so attentive! If you’re considering living at The Lofts or having a family member live there, look no further, The Lofts by Cogir is the place!

Independent living with many available resources
The apartments are small yet comfortable for independent living. They are associated with a facility offering meals, pool, gym, transportation, entertainment & other activities which the residents at the loft can take advantage of for no charge or meals for $10. The residents and staff are friendly.

Wonderful
The amenities are wonderful—they even have a dog park! I think they offer plenty of social offerings/events for their clientele, and every time I’ve visited something fun is happening. The staff is very helpful, caring and encouraging, so it’s easy to feel “at home” here. Totally recommend!

Management is great, good, well kept facility, friendly people. The staff is welcoming and genuine, wanting to help. Usage of the facilities is easy and safe with someone always close to help. The pool is always in a heated environment with towel and a jacousy.

A pleasant place to live
The staff have been kind and helpful.
I have a small({500 sq ft) apartment. The kitchen has full sized stove, refrigerator, and dish washer and microwave above the stove. Considering the size of there is sufficient cupboards and drawers. The living room has room for a computer desk next to a 40-inch reading table. On the other side of the room a book self and futon and end table. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. I have found sufficient shelving in the bathroom.
There are washer and dryer in the apartment, so laundry is easy to do.
The floors do not hold dirt and therefore easy to keep clean.
The bedroom has a closet the same size I had in the house I lived in. The bedroom is carpeted. I have a twin bed with a lot of space left for two chests of drawers. There is enough room for a full sized or queen-sized bed, however with reduced open space.
The atmosphere is pleasant with plenty conversing area in a living room arrangement. There is more to tell but I'm out of space.

Great Community
Great place for my mom. The staff is wonderful and caring. Always looking out for the well-being of the residents. They have activities all day long, everyday so my mom is always doing something. The food options are fantastic. Mom loves the bistro and the buffet. She is very happy to be in such a good place. I am happy since she is being well cared for and can go about my day not having to worry about how she is doing. She loves it here!

A Great Place to Live
I love the Lofts. I checked out a lot of places and the Lofts is definitely the best. It feels like family. The manager is so sweet and really cares and looks out for everyone. It’s part of a whole Cogir community with lots of activities. One thing I love about the Lofts is that you have a kitchen if you want to do your own cooking or there are dining areas next door. It’s also in a great location that’s close to everything, a mall, doctors, grocery stores and restaurants.They also have a gym and pool. They also allow pets. It’s the best!

He introduced me to [name removed]who coordinates living arrangements for new residents at The Lofts by Cogir. She arranged a time to talk and a tour for me. With all of the amenities and the kind and attentive staff throughout,I felt certain that this would be the perfect living arrangement for me. My one bedroom apartment is lovely. If I ever need anything, [name removed]and [name removed]are quick to accommodate my needs. [name removed]has checked in on me as well. The staff are truly lovely and kind. Living independently in a senior living facility is very freeing from living in a home alone. Considering all the upkeep and responsibilities that a home has, that can become too much. It's reassuring knowing that others are around, even though you have your own apartment. You have the option to keep to yourself if your not one for gatherings, engage with others if your more outgoing, interact with others throughout your day as you come and go and in my experience it's very dog or cat friendly. You can be certain you'll meet others while walking your dog. I enjoy this the most. I'm more of a nature person. There's plenty as you and your companion walk around the facilities. When help is needed you can reach out by pressing or pulling the cord on the box inside your apartment or make a phone call to the front desk or a friend that you've made. Individuals are willing to help out they just need to know how you need there help. There's always something to do, if you activities as well.
