A Place for Mom sent me a link for Synergy Home Care. I met with owner [name removed] in my home and was immediately assured this was a good choice. Over the next months several well qualified women spent time with my mom allowing me to get back to the Y for exercise. Mom enjoyed all of them. The two most recent wept when they heard Mom had been hospitalized. Synergy was recommended by A Place for Mom. Synergy answered immediately, conducted a brief phone screening and followed with an in home assessment the next day by a Case Manager. We signed the paperwork and care began. The Case Manager was initial POC but later worked directly with Scheduling. There were a few call outs of scheduled caregivers and not all caregivers have a car so Scheduling called me each time. Each time they came through with a replacement but a time or two I was nervous they wouldn’t.
