Recommended
We used Senior Helpers Wilmington's Home Care services for my father and they were excellent. They came up to my dad's house for twelve hours a week. They were punctual, friendly and helpful with both his hygiene and nutrition needs. I would recommend Senior Helpers Wilmington to family and friends!

Not up to my standards
The service was okay. The rules and requirements seemed to be a little off. For instance, the last time a caregiver was here, she left at 4:00 and was supposed to be there until 6:00. The manager just closed the contract because I didn't do one thing she wanted - I was simply getting more information. But I chose to just let her close out the contract. I was not happy with the way things turned out. Of the three caregivers, one was superb. But the others did not seem to be up to the standards of what I required for my person.

I would recommend
This was the first time that we had ever used home care and the caregiver that they sent was very nice. She always showed up on time and did what she was supposed to do, we never had any issues whatsoever. The administrative staff that we worked with were also extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Senior Helpers to others looking for home care services.

They Are Excellent to Work With
I am very happy with Senior Helpers. The first caregiver was not a good fit; however, they sent Nellie and she is very helpful. She has been good at helping my loved one, and the family. I will be using Nellie a lot for assistance for my loved one. She is taking care of medication management, changing of linens, feeding of meals, and more. She goes and does what needs to be done. This has been a blessing to us. Nellie is very calming and nice to work with.
The office staff is nice and the nurse came out to do a review. They are very efficient.

Dealing with the management team was a hit or miss with our family, and there was one aid that was sent to our family that had absolutely no experience and would just st around. However, the other aids that were sent to our family were wonderful, they did an excellent job making sure our loved ones needs were met and was getting the correct attention.

We left after the company didn't have staff show up. Senior Helpers quoted one price and ended up being another price. They were doing light cooking and cleaning, transportation, and more of the basic items to help our loved one, when they were here.

They are doing really well. My dad loves Senior Helpers!
They are doing really well. My dad loves Senior Helpers, and when he had to go to a community for a while, they came to the site. They have just been a huge help. I haven't had any problem with billing or the administration side of things either.
