We were very happy with the caregiver but the billing system required too much involvement between me our LTC and their accountant.

Matching a caregiver to a client can be challenging
I think that communication and scheduling would've been the more difficult part of my arrangement. Sometimes I was unsure of who I should be talking to, who will return my call, and did they receive my message? I've been using two different agencies and sometimes I'd need to make a change, and sometimes our communication wasn't good when I'd try to make that change. I'd also have difficulties telling them I don't need this or I do need that - so it was a mutual thing. Originally I had two people that I really connected with. One got married and the other got a different job. There was a really good comfort level and great communication with them. When we had to make changes because of them leaving, I didn't seem to have the "same" type of person. The new person wasn't doing anything specifically wrong - we just didn't have the same level of compatibility. I did sense that they may have been short staffed, it was just a combination of ingredients. I'd be the first to admit that I'm probably a hard person to match, so I understand that it's a two way street. [name removed], the main person, always provided a willingness to speak with me. We just could've done better at communicating together. I had to make changes to my schedule and am no longer using their service, but I would definitely go back and try them again.

Caregiver Support
They did a great job. I was glad to have them. They were very accommodating. The people they have working for them were very devoted, professional, and friendly. We had some issues every now and then administratively, but the person in charge would clean those right up for us.

My mom's care
Right at home was a wonderful company that came into our house. We first met [name removed] and she really cared for the finding the right fit for our family and my mother's care over the past few months of her life. Wow; [name removed], our caregiver was amazing. She was very flexible with her schedule and provided care for my mother and helped my father as well. When not caring for my mother; she helped with doing light laundry, meal prep, making beds and being there for my dad when I was at work. I know that my parents were safe and well taken care of. [Name removed] regularly checked in with us as well. Again, Right at home was a great fit for our family during this sad and difficult time. My siblings, father and I cold not have done this by ourselves with out the help from [name removed]. She was an Angel that was brought to our family during this difficult time. I will truly miss her and and all her love and support.

Wonderful and caring
The two people Simone and Jennifer I’ve dealt with them – I’d give them a six! They keep in touch with me – even to ask how I was doing during a difficult time I had. They’re just very caring and helpful.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Right at Home - Tampa, FL

A Place for Mom has scored Right at Home - Tampa, FL 7.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
