Agent's attitude.
I got the impression that money was their top concern because the agent asked for $[fee removed] before starting care. She was also offended by my husband when he accidentally removed his sheet.. He had dementia.

Not what I was promised
Told we would have the same 2, maybe 3 caregivers. Each caregiver would train the other. Constantly had different caregiver and they didn’t know my mom’s routine. One caregiver, halfway thru her shift said she completed all task , but left that evening without doing them. This months bill I was over charged $[removed]. Sent several emails and left messages for them to call me for a verbal discussion. No one has done that. They sent an email this morning and I responded I did not agree with their calculations and left a voicemail to call me and no response.

Company is very disorganized.
I have two wonderful caregivers. The company itself cannot keep its schedule straight and their billing is a nightmare. They do automatic withdrawals on my bank account and got 10 weeks behind with my LTC insurance. They make a lot of excuses, which had me confused for a while. Finally have come to the conclusion that they just don’t know what they’re doing and blame it on others I want to fire them, but I’m waiting for my caregiver to receive certification as independent caregiver. She is wonderful! The questions below primarily address the quality of the Caregiver, not the terrible unorganized office.

Disgusting treatment, now dealing with small claims court
Disgusting treatment of a paying client and was witnessed by more than one person. Vulgar communication after trying to address situation when you call their office. Disgusting. Save the trouble. Go elsewhere. Will be going through small claims court since they took our money.

Our Experience
We used home care services through C&C Caring Hands for our loved one and the experience was terrible. Additionally, aside from issues we had with the caregiver, we had prepaid for care and it took over a month to get a reimbursement and it wasn't even a full reimbursement like we were promised when we signed up with them. They would not return our calls, texts or emails. I just received the check. I hope it actually clears! In my opinion, this business is very unethical.

Frequently Asked Questions
about C & C Caring Hands LLC

A Place for Mom has scored C & C Caring Hands LLC 6.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.   We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.   Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
