If that new order is not within the parameters for the insurance, the full price gets charged. It is much cheaper for the family to manage the scripts and take them to Bayport. Also, if scripts are mailed to the resident and that resident has memory issues, the med may sit in the mailbox for weeks without the med tech knowing it has arrived. Worse, the resident may toss the script.
